These O'Shea Brothers were demanding, ruthless and dark but once they met the right woman, they were loving protectors to the end.
So was the case with businessman and Irish mobster, Conall O'Shea from South Boston.
It took a smart accountant, Tatiana Barbosa to change his view on love. On a Tuesday morning, Tatiana barges into Conall's business trying to help her younger brother, Tony Barbosa get out of trouble but she gives out too much information about her brother's fear of the O'Sheas. A raise eyebrow and smirk was given from Conall because the night before, he killed one of his da's drug dealers! They are both attracted to each other at first glance... insta love or is it insta-lust but she leaves his office confused and he is confused as well! In return that very night, Conall invades her home with 'crazy talk' and sets a date .... yep... Conall knows what he wants with cocky a$^ and sets the date for Friday... no change that... with calling her on the phone, he flirts, send flowers and the date is changed to Thursday because they no the have a strange but strong connection and know exactly what they want.. each other.
Although this was my least favorite of the series due to Tony's problem becoming secondary, it was still a good read!

Hot air.
This book was filled with so much hot air.
Thankfully I read Shannon before this book. This book sucked so much, I'm going to round up my rating for Shannon.
I'm not rehashing this silly story.
How do you have two lead characters who boast so frigging much and can't even back it up? They would always speak in code and never get to damn point.
How do you have a lead character with a personality switch? The female lead went from idiotic good girl who went to a criminal's place of business without KNOWING THE ENTIRE REASON WHY HER BROTHER WAS INVOLVED IN THE FIRST PLACE to supposed street runner. Are you kidding me?
And then she hints at a past that's so bad and she won't talk about it? And when it's time for supposed big bad confession, it's a fade to black?
The book went straight from the barely there two stars to straight one with that weak move.
The plot's weak, characters even weaker and the story is crap. The pacing is choppy as hell and I've read this author before. Pretty sure she can write a tighter story than this.
I was interested in reading this series- though it's a bunch of standalones with a connected arc - brothers who grew up in the Irish mafia and now need to plot revenge. This is my second read from the 4 book series and my biggest gripe with it? The series should've been numbered (and if it is - the reader shouldn't have to search-it should be available) where the big climax is actually detailed and explained in one book, actually build the tension and discuss the abuse in each book instead of blowing so much hot air about being big and bad and doing jack shit about anything. No way the female lead is from the streets - she even said she wasn't in the beginning.
This wishy washy halfway hinting and telling of second hand events makes all of the books weak.
And the big soliloquy from a nine year old:
Really? A nine year old is going to make a speech like this?
I'm going to try and erase this book from my mind. Probably need a break from this series, thank goodness it's different authors.
Damn me for falling for the covers and blurbs.

Love and Protection
This is the exciting loveJourney of Tatiana and Conall. At first glance theses two seem very normal. He is a very well known businessman. Very well respected in Boston. She is also a businesswoman. Also well liked and respected. The similarities don't end there... They both each have dark secrets. Very deadly secrets. I totally enjoyed this story. When these two get together they are definitely explosive. Conall O'shea LOVES Tatiana. Very much. And he'll do anything to protect her. Definitely five stars!! I am on to the next brother in this exciting series.

Irish Chameleon
Conall O'Shea is the brother of Kieran and like his brother he wears a facade. Clean and upright businessman to the uptown crowd and deadly adversary to South Boston's less than upright populace.
Tatiana Barbosa elegant and classy businesswoman. Her little brother brought his woes to her and she went a looking for Mr. O'Shea. What happens next is explosive and titillating.
Reana does a marvelous job as always conveying the strong alpha male that meets his soul mate in an unlikely woman. I recommend this book to all lovers of Alpha males and men with Irish accents. It's worth every penny.

This was Conally and Tatiana's story. I really enjoyed their story and I loved that Tatiana was a bad ass and was able to take her place next to her man.

Of the four books in the Irish Sugar series, by four great authors, this one is my favorite. This book, like the installment Kieran by Kassanna, included the right about if action, intrigue and romance for a short story. As a reader I felt I received a complete story in a short work. Conall and Tatiana were a great couple, each with their own demons. Drawn to each each from their first meeting, they work through their issues together.
Even though the books in this series can stand alone, I read this series in the order of the ages of the brothers. I would love to see either one or four follow up books where we see how the brothers and their wives are faring post Paddy.

My Favorite So Far!
WOW! What a good story! Conall and Tatiana were fire! This is by far and away my favorite book in this series so far. Conall was so Hot! Sexy business mogul by day, Irish Gangster by night, The hardest of the hard,but putty in the hands of his woman. Tatiana was no slouch either,sexy strong woman who could hold her own and is fiercely loyal to the ones she loves, not the same ole cliche damsel in distress. The story is pretty much the say is all the books,kill Paddy O'Shea,so I won't get into that,but this is definitely a good read.

I tried and failed, not enjoying the storyline, seems too rushed for me. This at least is a more complete story but I'm just not feeling like the relationship is the primary focus of the book. The father hatred takes up more space than the character and relationship development. I DnF' at 68%.

A good read, wish there was more.
Another good one by author Reana Malori, big sister to the rescue. Tatiana goes to confront Conall O’Shea about her brother. What both of them get is so unexpected and more than what they could have imagined.

Loving dangerously - Conall and his brothers are crime bosses, forged by harshness meted out by one of their father's henchmen. You don't want to meet them in a boardroom or a back alley. Tatiana tracks Conall down to plead for her brother's life. A classic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He wants the woman, but her brother is a liability he doesn't need. He'll have her in his bed, and woe to anyone who thinks to look at her wrong. Heart-pounding action, steam heat and a heartbreaking backstory. A great mafia romance. The AI narrator wasn't that bad but the story would have been better with a human voice.

Second time even better
Sorry I didn’t review this the day I read it, going through something myself I read a lot of stories and didn’t review them. Well I guess it’s a good thing I like to re-read a good story over. This is my second time reading this 10/07/24.
Tatiana protecting her brother that’s what you do when your the oldest, my sister was my protector and just like Tatiana she was a bada$$. She had a gun but I loved when she would pull out her switchblade, boy could she handle it. Conall was poetry in motion with his technique, loved both of them together made it a wet dream

Enjoyed Conall and Tatiana in this one but her understanding what he does due to her rape alone wasn’t enough. I thought based off what she said to Tony she would’ve actually been in the streets at some point running her own thing or something but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Tony was such a waste in this one with the running to his sister with his problems I can’t see him holding what he knows at the first sign of trouble. Good read though.

If you have not read the Irish Sugar series, definitely pick these books up. The O’Shea brothers are something else. Mr. Conall is the business man of the group but those sharp suits hide the personality and the body of a killer. Tatiana takes on the big bad Conall O’Shea to protect her brother Tony who see something he isn’t supposed to see. These two steam up every page of this book. You won’t be disappointed with this read.

Fantastic Book
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed reading about Tatiana and Consol journey to love! I enjoyed the love that was displayed between them! Their chemistry was off the charts! It was scorching hot! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between them! Such a fantastic and outstanding book!

This was a good romance story with a bit of action. I absolutely enjoyed reading Conall and Tatiana's story it had just the things I was looking for in a story. I would recommend reading this story. Thank you Reana I can't wait to read the rest of the brothers stories. Great job as usual. 🙏👍

Pretty good story,
... loved how intrigued the H was with her, too bad they did not go more into her badass background. But I enjoyed the reading, Writing was somewhat confusing because it had the hero as the eldest then switched him with the next younger brother. oh well, still a good read.

badass
OK what’s not to love about a bad ass story with bad ass characters. Lol I love the storyline of the characters actually looking forward to the next book. Pretty sure this is a series absolutely love this, but would recommend it to anyone interested and a little drama passion, some action and definitely lots of love making.
