I have waited for this book and I was really looking forward to reading it but the story just fell flat to me. I was anticipating Erik's reaction to Talia's incarceration and I open the book to find out that (gasp) everyone is just frustrated with the event but they are just going to live with the events until everything is cleared up (wait?! what??!!!). From there you are introduced to more characters and I find it hard to keep everyone apart. This book is what I classify as a filler book. There is a lot of info for later books use, but the story feels like its just spinning its wheels. And if you are waiting for Erik's and Talia's reunion, you will be kept waiting for 90% of the book ( not spoiling, just warning). All in all, I like the characters and will continue to follow their story but I think it might be time to wrap up all the loose ends.

After the last novel which I really enjoyed but which didn't have enough Talia and Erik for my taste I was really looking forward to this one. Sadly it just didn't live up to my expectations. After all they have been through I want to read Talia & Erik TOGETHER, going on missions and kicking butt. Also wasn't a fan of the multiple POV's and I was annoyed at the start by how Erik the super special poster boy that the organisation NEEDED didn't exercise any of that power to at least insist on visiting regularly with Talia while she was in prison.

This is the next highly anticipated book in the Talented series and Sophie Davis did not disappoint! With more at stake than ever, we follow Talia and Erik's fight for life, freedom and love.

Another epic book, I loved it! Finished reading it way too fast than I wanted to. This book is a split POV between Talia (love love love), Erik, and a new character named Cressa. I found this book to be pretty dark compared to the first six books. There was just too much evil, and it made me feel helpless and terrified even as just a reader. I really hope things look up in the next (and final) book. I'm both excited to read the next book and also extremely sad that I'll have to say goodbye to such an amazing series.

First I want to say I've loved this series till this book. Whoever formatted it or set it up did a crappy job. There was no table of contents I hat this, I like to finish reading on a chapter, I like being able to see when a chapter starts and finishes. So it lost a star for this. This book was very slow moving till the last 5 or 6 chapters. I'm not sure why it was so slow moving. If I had to guess it was because the points of view kept changing, which usually I like but in this case the book just never got a good flow. Maybe if the book had been split into three parts then last 5 or 6 chapters alternate the points of view. Lost a star for the slow moving. There was a lot going on in this book and sum times I got a little confused. I missed Erik and Talia fighting together. To me this was a book to setup the next book as far a I know it should be the last book in the series. I hope it is set up better than this one.

Dang! Just finished book 7 on a cliffhanger AND THERE IS NO NEXT...YET
Inescapable continued the same hard hitting pace as the other 6. All of the main characters are mostly separated. Each has a role in trying to save their lives and their way of life while Talia has spent much of this last critical month behind bars on Vault.

Spine tingling
It's the 7th book in the series and the cliff hangers don't stop. The characters are true to form but keep growing and there is always a twist to keep you intrigued. Love this series.

This one was very different from the others in that we had not only Talia's point of view, but we also had Cressa's, a new character, who was privileged, and Erik's POV. There was quite a bit going on too. Although I really understood the why behind it, it was a lot to digest, but gave some good background on what would eventually lead to the ultimate fight that the Talented would have to face.
At the end of Marked, Talia was sent to the Vault for disregarding orders and letting Kenly go free rather than place her in containment while Erik was sent traveling around the world as an ambassador for United garnering support for the Talented and Created in the upcoming vote. What I found strange is that it wasn't clearly explained how Erik was OK with Tals being locked up and his never being able to see her. The Erik we love would never have agreed to that.
When the council decides on a drastic measure in case the vote does not go in their favor, Talia breaks out of the Vault and finds herself with new allies, but not quite as safe as she would like. In the meantime, the Dame, whom I suspected was who I thought she was, was gearing up her army, the privileged for the upcoming war she was instigating around the world. I do have to admit that I liked Cressa and her view on the happenings in the privileged world were gold, but also worrisome. I felt horrible for those poor kids manipulated into servitude and potentially giving their life to become privileged. And honestly, I don't think they all have agreed to their new lot in life, but have been brainwashed to believe that they were superior and willing to die for the Dame's cause. I hope Cressa survives and ends up on Talia's team before this is all over.
As I said, there was a lot going on. Kenly and her team, whom I adore, are back in the mix. Penny, Erik, Brand, are also reunited with Talia and her new friends, but there are losses as well and things definitely get more complicated for the Talented/Created. I am excited to read the next book to see where this all ends. Will Alex and Erik's family arrive safely, how will Talia react to the Donovan clone, will Cressa and her friends escape the Dame? We learn a lot, but there are still so many open questions and I am definitely planning on finishing the series after binge reading all 7 books these past couple of weeks.

Okay so I took a bit to read this book. Actually in all fairness, I have been finished for months since I start at the end and then go back to the beginning; but with two pages left in the straight through read, I stopped for months...no real reason...I just did.
My thoughts...So much happens in book 7 of the saga and then again...we ended at the beginning. I feel like I am in a constant loop with this saga. Natalia grows so much in this book, which is sort of sad. I like her brashness, her fierceness, the fact she goes in first and thinks later..but that was not the one we had today - did prison really change her that much when no other capture ever did?? Or did her need for Eric break her? Hopefully it is just a momentary lap in judgement.
As for the 2nd storyline with Selby...yeah right...i like the new characters introduced there, but it was not looking too good for them at the end of the book...and with them working together so well - they may be the perfect replacements for Talia and Eric - seamlessly blend where Gracia could not...Hopefully they are stronger and can breakthrough whatever mind control; and games that may happen to them soon.

It was fairly calm for a Talented book - though i think most leave off too much graphic aspects. I will say she started reading the series a while back and I think she stopped around Book 3. Since I did start it months ago, I do not remember every word but there are some scenes that may seem worse than they are. I don't remember language that would be offensive and the scenes between Talia and Eric tend to be tame..I would be okay if my daughter continued the series.

This was the first book of the series to upset me. Sophie gradually works you up to the writing style in "Privileged" through "Marked" and even "Captivated" by alternating the first person writing between characters. "Privileged" finally upset me because each of the story lines that are converging on one another are mesmerizing making each chapter a massive cliff hanger. I found myself again canceling gigs so that i could continue reading because, just as Sophie sets you up on the upward climb of a roller coaster, she leaves you hanging at the top just before the 90 degree fall to start the climb of another ride. Sophie is extremely gifted in building tangents to a story and weaving those threads together seamlessly. "Privilege also has a way of forcing you to reflect on what we're experiencing in our lives today and the very real possibility of something very similar to the struggles of Natalia, Erick, and the rest of the Talented and Created. I could not put this book down! I couldn't put this series down and I can't wait to see what Sophie brings in book 8.

Omg!! What an incredible addition to the series. I was blown away by how good this was which I didn’t think was possible since I already think of this as one of my favorite series. The things that happen in this book are crazy cool, and I thank the Sophies so much for their amazing imaginations! The whole “privileged” concept was really creepy, but I loved every minute of it!
Probably my favorite moment which is so short but incredibly powerful involved Cadence. That scene has me quite giddy for what’s coming next. I also loved the new characters we meet, and I enjoyed spending so much time with Cressa. I can’t wait to see what role she and Kev play in the end of this.
Honestly, I’m really sad to learn that there will only be one more book in the series, and I hope the conclusion offers enough closure for me. It is going to be so hard to move on after this one. Book hangover for sure.

Okay a low rating for me but compared with the other books it didn't hold up. Adding a new perspective in the second to last book just didn't sit right. If we had followed cressa from maybe a book before when she would have been P1 would have been a much better way of doing it.
The story really didn't get going untill over half way through the books and even when it did the different perspectives over lapped in time and it made it difficult to follow along.
This is why it took me so long to finish this book and compared with other books in the series l didn't enjoy it.
That been said, the last ten chapters or so really picked up and it became obvious this book was setting up lots of things for the last book in the saga and that's why it seemed so slow.
If the last few chapters hadn't been so good this would have gotten 1 star. Let's hope the last book makes up for this one.

The version I read was called Privileged. I don’t know why there’s different titles. Anyway, this book kept on par with the others and made it hard to put down. I did figure out who the Dame was about 1/3 of the way in, but the reveal was still dramatic. I enjoyed the introduction of some new characters and can’t wait to see where they fit in to the last book. My only complaint is that whoever edited the book is not good. There were a lot of errors, like extra or missed words or the wrong word used (physic instead of psychic).

Awesome saga
I had my doubts about this saga. I didn't know if I could really get into something of this caliper of fantasy. I couldn't have been more wrong. The characters are in depth and likeable. I continuously find myself rooting for the Talented and Created. This is a must read.
I could only find one fault, at the end of the book it doesn't tell you the name of the next book or when it's coming out!

Fascinating mixture of familiar, and new and unexpected
7 books. One heck of a journey. Familiar characters interacting with with newly introduced characters. Experiencing events from different perspectives. Name dropping - I remember that name - maybe in book 4? It is like working on a 1000 piece puzzle, putting it together in sections, and finally the sections are starting to come together. I NEED book 8. NOW.

Great series
I love this series. Amazing!! However I gave it 4 stars because of spelling errors anndddd mostly i don't like Eric's auto or whatever u call it. I like the whole book when it's just talia speaking. i llooovvee Eric but...Eric can be annoying with every third word being"my girlfriend". Like we get it talia is your girlfriend.I

Gets crazier and more intriguing on every page !!
This book was a definite page turner ! With the treaty vote just days away, a lot of things are revealed, and the plot thickens !! Things get crazier, scarier, and very intense with every turn of the page ! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Intense
I spent half the book with a feeling of dread in the put of my stomach. There was so mucj going on that it was hard to breath and I stayed up way too late reading. I had to know what happened next and "one more chapter" turned into "I only have %% left to go. I am still hoping for a HEA.

... speechless. Totally speechless, how can one write such an amazing book and also keep it going till 7 books and still write amazing 💕💕 and so surprising, I am actually going crazy in most parts, till the end of the book I become all the emojis

Interesting addition to the series. Dangerous new acquaintances and more of Talia! New groups enter the fold to catch Talia and her friends with unique abilities, going to the extremes of injecting others with her DNA then transforming them to looklike her. That ending gets me so excited to read the last book in the series!

Good. A bit random but good stuff. Love how being powerful was logical in the story. The heroine did not require a lot coddling. she's feisty and I can't wait to the final book comes out in 2018.

Absolutely love this serirs
Absolutely love this series. Talia's is such a strong character. She's always fighting for what is right. And the new twit with privileged is very interesting.

Great book bad grammar
The story one is great and intense but the grammar is this book was horrible. You are sitting there at the edge of your seat reading as fast s you can to see what happens and BAM 5 grammar errors slam you to a stop.

Awesome!
Most series start to lose something when they are several books in. With this series the intensity just keeps growing, while still managing to follow the original story. It truly builds on what came before.

The intensity is numbing.
These books just keep getting better and better. More than that I feel like the author continued to grow with the series. There does seem to be more grammatical errors in these later books but not enough to detract from the intensity.

Amazing Book
It's hard to believe a series this big can continuously have great books but this one does. Per usual, I highly recommend this for fans if dystopian
