One chance encounter forever transformed her life…
When Rylee Daniels missed her connecting flight, the last thing she expected was to meet a tall, handsome billionaire who would sweep her off her feet. But after she shares a passionate night with the stranger and discovers that he’s married, she quietly slips away, never expecting to see him again.
Trapped in a loveless marriage, charismatic billionaire Jonathan Baynes never stopped thinking about the beautiful woman who vanished in the middle of the night. But when he meets her again after a chance encounter, Jonathan is ready to lose his massive fortune and his wife just to be with Rylee. Until he makes a discovery that rocks him to the core.
A series of misunderstandings coupled with Jonathan’s trust issues causes an irreparable rift between them. Will Jonathan and Rylee ever overcome the odds to be with each other again? And what happens when she learns that she’s carrying the billionaire’s twin babies?
This could have been a great story but the subject matter turned me off. Why did I read it then? I wanted to see which direction she would take for the two main characters to be together. Rylee was too easy and Johnathan had trust issues but they kept that love affair going. Not the best decision for her at ALL. Now what had me boiling was the reference to the ”black skin baby or her black skin”. WTF. Destiny it's time to rewrite this book and fix that issue. Brown skin, dark skin, or melanin to describe the darker shade. There seemed to be colorism in regards to the babies. But maybe I'm reading too much into it. Just my opinion. Love your books though.
What a amazing story with a lot of drama and steamy passion. This couple burns the sheets, their is a passionate affair but I am not sure about affairs with married men that's part of the story that I didn't like but otherwise it's emotional connection that they have.
why does the woman alwasy have to keep it a secet about unborn babies. you both did the due. why she gets the problems and he dosent, the storie are good just need a bit more guts from the woman, im still waiting
This triangle was a hot mess. It was totally a fiction with no clear narratives. At end, how was Rylee (or Kylee — mistaken made often) going to marry Jonathan when it does appear the marriage to Tyrell wasn’t annulled. Storyline needs to have some realism …
Good book and enjoyed reading it. The man in question just had to many issues. Ry was just too insecure being with another bad man in her eyes. It took a while, finally the story came through. FINALLY!!! IT WAS GOOD 👍🏾
Jonathan meets Rylee on a business trip that have an awesome night together before she learns he is married. She leaves. Later he finds her through her job.
Purchased this book on Amazon but for some reason my review was deleted from there. I absolutely loved everything about this book, down to the bi-racial babies! The story opens as the main female character returns from visiting her cousin and even if her mother is occasionally shown through the story, I admired how she chooses to deal with her stuff alone instead of turning towards her family. The only help she accepted was from her friend Tyrell, who turned out to be quite a likeable persona! Sex scenes were brilliant, loved the mild bdsm undertones. Only thing I wasn't too fond of was the bonus novella but still giving it 5-star because I technically paid for the main book!
When Rylee misses her flight and meets Jonathan at the airport they instantly are attracted to each other and spend the night together. When Jonathan wakes up the next morning Rylee is gone a and Jonathan thinks he will never see her again. However, fate brings them back into each others lives and when Rylee finds out Jonathan is married that is just the beginning.
The story was very quick but I enjoyed both. The first was filled with drama. I mean who married their gay best friend to hide a pregnancy. That's all you are getting from me. Lol
