Shared by Her Soldiers

Rate this book
When Kaitlyn Green’s husband Sean is deployed overseas, he asks his best friend and fellow soldier, Jarrod Peters, to keep his wife in line while he is gone, even if that means taking her over his knee for a good, hard, bare-bottom spanking as often as he feels it necessary. Kaitlyn is less than thrilled by this arrangement, but despite her embarrassment at being treated like a wayward teenager she cannot help growing closer to Jarrod with each passing month.

Upon returning home, it doesn’t take Sean long to realize that while Kaitlyn remains deeply in love with him, she has developed strong feelings for Jarrod as well. Knowing that Kaitlyn is enough of a handful to keep two men busy, Sean discusses the situation with Jarrod and together they decide that the best solution is to share her completely.

Soon Kaitlyn finds herself being soundly spanked by two firm-handed men and then claimed by both of them at once. Though she is amazed by the intense pleasure which results from surrendering to their skilled, dominant lovemaking, Kaitlyn still cannot help wondering if she will truly be able to keep both men in her life forever. Can Sean and Jarrod prove to her that the bond between the three of them will hold no matter what?

Publisher’s Note: Shared by Her Soldiers is an erotic romance novel that contains spankings, sexual scenes including threesomes, anal play, elements of BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

No connection between characters

I did not like this book. I usually like the author pretty well though. This was a story about a soldier oversees who asks his best friend to discipline his wife while he is away. When he comes home he is very distant from his wife, as well as rude towards her. He keeps asking his friend to help him discipline her, and eventually they share his wife sexually. I felt like the book was very rushed. I felt no connection between the husband and wife. He was usually rude and mean to her. She was so excited that he was finally coming home, but his homecoming ended in his friend spanking his wife. The husband wasn't loving or acted like he missed his wife. If he was rude, it was ok. But if she got rude back, she got spanked. I personally like DD books where the husband is able to keep calm and rational, while the wife gets emotional. This was not that kind of story. Don't waste money on this book.

Yes, I read the publisher's note before I purchased this book, and I was ok with everything it said, however, I was left shaking my head through most of it. Not because it was a bad book with a bad story line, I actually for the most part enjoyed reading it and it was well written. However, I had a few issues with this book that I just couldn't seem to over with the threesome, the sexual scenes, the erotic portions of this and all of that fun stuff... but there is something that just didn't sit right with me.

Kaitlyn's husband is deployed and fighting for our country. She is at home waiting. She has been waiting for over a year for Sean to return. But she hasn't been alone. Her husband asked his best friend to watch out for her and keep her in line during his absence. So the opening scene is her in trouble for letting her fears get the best of her and it turning into anger and misdirecting it at the one she loved. But it is Jarrod, the best friend, that is disciplining her bare butt over his lap. Jarrod promised his bestest that he would look after his girl and keep her in line while Sean was away.

That when Sean returns from overseas, he doesn't really know his wife and she certainly doesn't know him anymore. There is a lot of fighting and Sean and Kaitlyn don't know how to communicate with one another anymore. Jerrod knows how to communicate with Kaitlyn and knows how to handle her antics. He also knows how to communicate with Sean and deal with his angry ass when he is mad at Kaitlyn because he has been there while Sean has been away.

But without Jerrod, Kaitlyn and Sean seem to be walking a dangerous path that they just don't know how to fix until Sean makes a suggestion based on observation. Will it work if Jerrod is a permanent fixture in their lives and more than just a friendly kind of way? He can take care of Kaitlyn while Sean is away and it is very clear that the two of them have developed a bond while Sean was away. Will it work?

What I didn't like was that she was constantly being spanked for what she did wrong. I wouldn't have had an issue with it as it does fall into the BDSM category. But it was the fact that they were spanking her to the point that she was sobbing and crying uncontrollably and then sending her to her hard scratchy wooden chair in the corner to think about what she did wrong. I have read some weird BDSM books before but there was something that just bothered me about the punishment that Kaitlyn was receiving in this book. And I am sorry, but the pepper sauce in the mouth, a spanking and then bar soap in the mouth? Just seems a little over the top. I just kept wondering when the Neanderthal men would start acting like the gentlemen that they are portrayed to be. So they spank her senseless and then open the door for her? What?

I thought this book had a lot of potential to be a great mix of steam, hotness and BDSM, but I lost the connection between Kaitlyn and Sean in the first few chapters and it never seemed like a great love story by the end. It was a lot of Kaitlyn getting in trouble and Jerrod and Sean punishing her. The romance factor just wasn't there for me.

The two "heroes" do nothing but beat (and I mean "beat") a woman who struggles with anxiety while her husband is away. There is nothing erotic about this book in the least. And it's an insult to all the hard-working, self-sacrificing military spouses who struggle to maintain their homes while their spouses are away. Their strength is nowhere in this book.

Smoking Hot!

I loved this book. Kaitlyn is such a brat, but she’s also endearing. Her two men are so well described and so hot!

This was a very good book! I was intrigued with the plot and the characters, especially Kaitlyn, and it kept me turning the pages. Although her husband is deployed he is still making sure she is looked after and Jarrod is up to the challenge. When Sean comes home it really was quite interesting how the three of them figured out what worked best for them. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

Is she a child

Her husband knew how she was ,by marry her? To have his battle buddy act as a child minder to her is an insult to both and she should have been adult enough to say so or never married him.
