I was enjoying this serial but the amount of contradictions kept making me fall out of the story and try to figure it out.

I received the ARC from Bad Boy Update. I love a good intergalactic romance and this fits the bill with action and drama to top it all off! Jazmine never thought she would be a thief, but she does what she needs even if no one will help. She has been fine, until she crosses the wrong person. While on the run she meets Marek. Neither admit to who they really are and he agrees to help her in exchange for something. Slowly their secrets come out...no spoilers here....you'll have to read it for yourself!

Marek is soon to be the king of his race taking his fathers place on the thrown but right now he is out searching for adventure wherever he can find it on whatever planet. Jazzmine is a thief but she is looking for something specific and she has just escaped being captured by a feline looking race because of what she did to their king. Marek is only giving her a ride to the next planet cause she said she would be his sex slave but what’s really going to happen when the next episode of this series of six books concludes.

This is a thrilling adventure… brimming with action, secrets and suspense. Marek and Jasmine are so complex. Their chemistry, drama and struggles will sweep you up in their lives and refuse to let go. Throughout the story we are introduced to other family members. If you like Sci Fi romances and love among the stars, you'll enjoy this book. It was fast paced and full of action. Inter-glactic love between Marek and Jazmine. They both have a lot of baggage in the pasts that they have to deal with. Lots of secrets and plenty of drama. I received the ARC from Bad Boy Update

Jazmine, a Territhian, was running for her life after she had put the Vanfia King to sleep and stole his jewels. The king's guards were chasing her until she reached Marek, a Vartik pretending to be human who was on his way to planet Kilian. Marek was willing to help her out, but in return, Jazmine must become one of his concubine.

Two different species, one way to survive. There was sexual tension between the two, and it's only a matter of time before they give in to their lustful desires.

Chosen by the Vartik King is the newest sci-fi novel by Liza Probz and I quite like it. It has a lot of promise and exciting scenes. The story is going to be a six-part serial and I can't wait to read more about Marek and Jazmine. This definitely will fill-up my Kindle book shelf and will have me anticipating for more!

Great intro to the series, leaves you wondering and wanting more. A deal and a deal breaker, a secret and a small reveal. There's not a big sex scene in this book but hints that there might be one in the next or the next in this series.
