Cory: This was it. This was the shit I lived for. The air rushed past my helmet as I opened the throttle and pinned it. The adrenaline rush you get when your tires first lift off that ramp is indescribable, I live for that rush. I live my life the same way I ride my dirt bike—fast and hard. I don't date. I don't do relationships. I fuck the same way I ride, and dirty is my specialty.
Or at least that was my life, until I met her.
Sam: "Freakin’ ridiculously cautious" that's what my best friend, Jessie, would tell you about my dating philosophy. What can I say? I'm perfectly happy with my quiet life. I don't need any guy coming in to complicate things.
Well, that was my philosophy...

Lightweight, just what I needed after the last couple of books.
Corey is a motocross rider and pretty much a man-ho. Once he meets Sam he's intrigued and interested in pursuing her. Sam's best friend Jess hooks up with Corey's buddy Josh.
It was sexy with low-angst and minor drama. Pretty good for what it is.
It was a teeny tiny bit longer than a true novella but shorter than a short novel. Cory was the manho dirt bike rider who literally opens the book screwing another girl and he’s not ashamed of it. Sam works in a bookstore and while she claims she’s usually boring and innocent, she wears revealing clothes and she doesn’t fight going to parties…so that was a bit off. Cory is immediately drawn to her but at first he’s still checking out other girls. And Sam, despite being “shy,” has no issues really talking to him.
It has some steam, but it almost made me cringe with the dirty talk. I guess when you don’t connect with any of the characters it throws off what should be sexy, because I wasn’t feeling those scenes. My favorite scenes was toward the end when one of Cory’s friends gets hurt and they talk about the drama that split them up.
Yep, only 150 pages and the author used the good ole separation trope to add drama. 🙄 Needless to say, I didn’t really feel this one but it was okay. I feel like this plot needed MORE. I love novellas but if you write a novella, you need enough meat to make it make sense. And while this one had potential, it missed the mark for me.
The writing wasn't the kind I enjoy. I couldn't connect with the characters and the story line seemed trite. He's a bad boy who finds himself in love with a goody-two-shoes gal and only she can "make him feel whole, she completes him."
This was a quick but really fun read. Loved the characters and their obvious friendship. The spice level was perfect and there were lots of fun and laughs. Very enjoyable!
I can always count on Remi Fox to write a good short read. Didn't think I'd be into reading a motocross romance but I really enjoyed it. Hope there are more in the future. Will there be a book for the Commander??!
So... they fell in love in like 2 weeks of knowing each other? Way too fast for my liking and also there was never any depth really, they had sex and because of that they fell in love? Idk
I loved this story. It was such a sweet story. But oh my, was it hot ,hot, hot ! It's totally worth the read, but be prepared. The sexy times are plenty
3.5 stars. I would have loved to give this a higher rating because it was a good fast paced, light book. But, the author kind of rushed the ending and I felt meh about it. The characters are easy to like and the story while predictable was just right and nice. Still, I felt the characters deserved a more climactic ending.
This book was actually not bad but the chapter was to short was my only issue had a lot of sex but it was done good u actually began to like the characters but then the story was over Cory was hot as heck ! ;)
This was a wonderful read. I fell in love with all of the characters, except the *itch Megan. She is a piece of work. Cory & Sam are just made for each other.
