I'm sorry, but I'm so glad I'm done with this series. If I hadn't been given a copy in exchange for a review I would have abandoned the series four books ago. The plots are so similar that it's not even fun. The character are aggressive and bullies who essentially trick the suspects into talking to them.

Lainie Pahos does a great job narrating.

**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

Meg Walton is sleuthing again in this books series. The book can be read as a standalone. Meg owns a coffee shop and puts a spell where you cannot gain weight from them. No one knows she is a witch. She works with her detective boyfriend Conner. There is a talking cat (while grandmother is dying they placed her soul into a cat with nine lives). Her neighbor is upset , but says he didn't want to talk right then but would meet in the morning to talk. Her boyfriend teams up and go into investigating the murder of Walter. The narration by Lainie Pahos is good and maintains interest. The storyline keeps your interest. The characters are believable and likeable. The storyline keeps your interest. I love that she writes a clean book, no frank sex, foul language, or gore. I recommend this book for a fun family night. We enjoyed this book.

Donuts--who doesn't love donuts? Well for sure this witch who hides her magic from everyone-including her boyfriend sure does. She has a neighbor who witnessed them kissing goodnight and came over afterwards to tell her how lucky she was. He, on the other hand was not a happy fellow. He had been caught cheating and now his wife was divorcing him.

When the lights in his garage were still on--she went to check and found him dead! But who murdered him? She and her boyfriend decided to find out working together.

This is actually a very light, clean read that will keep you reading and laughing a bit!

The dead car guy…

Meg Walton and her boyfriend, Detective Connor Smith are deep into the honeymoon period of their relationship and not even the murder of her next-door neighbor can spoil that. Meg is surprised but happy when Connor has no problem with her investigating the case. She is determined to find the killer with a little help from her magic and her cat who is really her grandmother Penelope.

This is a fun cozy series. Meg and Connor make a good couple and Penelope's cat antics add a good dose of humor for anyone who has ever had a cat.

An exceptionally well-done whodunit. Meg and Conner are on the case again. This time her next-door neighbor has been murdered. Knowing that the victim was estranged from his wife gave them a start on suspects. More turn up quickly. But the evidence is lacking until a second victim is found. Meg's insightful gut leads her to the culprit.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Haunting. Romantic. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

I have to admit I was surprised that there was 2
Murders in this story. I am confused a little bit. Is this her new job then? What about the doughnut shop. Is just her mother working there? Is she getting paid as a consultant for the police.

Also not to make a big deal or anything but the no spicy while it’s fine is a little unrealistic as boyfriend and girlfriend. I mean really he isn’t going to spend the night. I have read quite a few authors that were clean but not this clean. In a normal relationship you would think that past loves would have at least going in the house not just a kiss at the door.

Meg is at it again!

MIeg is awakened by her cat very early one morning and notices her neighbors light on in his garage. It's strange at this hour so she goes to investigate and finds herself in a mystery again. Her boyfriend, Connor and Meg team up again to solve the problem. This is book 5 but is a stand alone story but you might want to read the first books too.

If I was a friend of this mother and daughter, I would cut ties and move away. Every book is a friend of theirs being murdered. Just when a small original idea pops up, it is also given a quiet and ignored burial. This series is ok for just passing time, but isn't for those who want to fall into their reading.

The Nuts and Bolts of Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #6) was another great read by Amelia Morgan. Meg thinks that her sleuthing days are over but she is sorely mistaken. This time her neighbor Walter is murdered. Her and Walter search for his murderer. I loved reading this book.

Meg and Connor.

This is the first book I have read by this author. I really enjoyed the book. The characters were well developed and loveable. The love story and the who done it, we're just right.

This one was a bit different from the rest of them. It’s getting harder for Meg to keep her secret that she’s a witch from her boyfriend, Connor. She seems to be taking a toll by keeping this secret from him.

It’s like reading the same book over and over. And don’t be friends with Meg, you’re likely to die or be accused of murder

Although I received this book free in exchange for an honest review,I will say that I really liked this book. The author describes the characters very well. This is the first book that I have read from this author, and it was very easy to follow even though it is book #6 in the series. I love reading books about sleuthing and witches, especially when the witches can't let anyone know what they are, even your boyfriend, who just happens to be a detective.Lol I know that I want to read the whole series and will be getting the first five books. Very good and a fun mystery

A light and easy read. I finally finished the sixth and last book of this series. It's full of interviews of suspects, a few magic spells, lots of stopping to eat comfort foods, a little talking with the grandmother, who is a talking cat, and Meg working with her boy friend, Conner. This is a cozy cozy murder mystery, which I like to read after I have read a book with difficult subjects.

Another great read. Meg continues to help her boyfriend Conner Smith solve murders of friends and neighbors. At times she has to be secretive about using her witch spells to give a boost to gathering evidence. Look forward to other books. The Six book series would make a good gift for a cozy mystery reader.

Poor storyline and badly executed

Really poor storyline. I have read this storyline before and it was written much better. In fact the whole thing including the characters was really weak. Not up to the norm.

Not enough depth

This book was just ok. The plot seemed shallow as did the characters. I noticed several mistakes. Not sure I'll read any of the others. Was not impressed.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Another good read in this series about Meg, the sleuthing witch and Connor, her Police Detective boyfriend.
Meg's neighbour is found murdered early one morning, Meg & Connor work to find out who did it and why. At the same time, their relationship is developing, when will Meg have to divulge her secrets to Connor?
There's humour too with Penelope, the talking cat! typical feline, cat naps and food are all that's on her mind, yet somehow she always finds a way to help Meg find the culprit.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.
