Shaping a Christian Worldview presents a collection of essays that address the key issues facing the future of Christian higher education. With contributions from key players in the field, this book addresses the critical issues for Christian institutions of various traditions as the new century begins to leave its indelible mark on education.
Enjoyed the breadth of the topics covered by the essays in this book. However part of me wonders if the practical tips are being placed before the essential question of what the Christian worldview is at its core. The conservative bent is clear, which is fine, but I have always been suspicious of the dualistic categories that fundamentalism might impose on secular thinking. All the same, that is not the purpose of the authors, who discuss their fields with clarity and relevant examples.
