After being dropped off at her apartment, Steele found herself being questioned by her roommate, Gwen. After much prodding, she gave in and told Gwen a bit about her contract with Arsen and Gwen couldn’t believe what Steele was getting herself into.

Wow - The relationship between Steele and Arsen is really developing. Arsen's true personality is slowly resurfacing because of his growing love for Steele. After talking to her roommate, Steele realizes that she has been wrong to try to keep his tender side from coming out. Steele has fears that she can't hold onto him unless she adapts his lifestyle and wants to go the Fierce Club with him. Once there, she is shocked and soon realizes that she does not want that lifestyle. Arsen realizes that he doesn't want her to adapt that life style either. She gets into a little trouble at the club and Arsen rescues her.
After they leave the club, Arsen breaks down as years of hurt, pain and emotion come to the surface. Steele is there for him and he comments that she is saving him. He tells her he loves her and only wants to make love to her in the future. He regrets how he treated the girls and now wants to leave that lifestyle behind.
They do not realize that Gwen, Steele's roommate has been kidnapped by Allen.
Things heat up as they arrive at the penthouse and find Madame Sinclair waiting for them. After Steele attacks her, Arsen asks her to leave. She then tells him, I know who killed the girls - Do you want me to stay?
This was the most intense book so far and has you sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting for #8. I received and ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Michelle Love is a great writer.

Best series ever I hope you are reading it Arden is changing for Steele but the killer is Gwens boyfriend but they don't know it thing are happening fast he has kidnapped Gwen to Get to Steele to hurt Arden he took Steele with him to get hi stuff from the club came home and the one who hurt Arden was waiting out front Steele best her up then she told Arden he needed her see what happens in#8 can't wait enjoy I did Margie

Arsen and Steele assume Gwen and Allen went out for breakfast when they are not at the apartment when they awake. Steele agrees to go to Arsen's BDSM club to assist him with his room. Steele wants to see more in to Arsen's dark lifestyle. She is definitely not ready for the extreme happenings.
For someone so smart, Steele's actions are pretty stupid. She does not think nor does she believe Arsen's warnings. They both underestimate Allen, especially Arsen when he should know better.

Steele and Arsen continue to grow closer as they work on the case against him. In this segment, Steele gets her wish and goes to the club with him. The relationship between them is more real now and not just about sex and control. They are both really understanding more about what the other needs and focused on being respectful of one another. I have enjoyed the story much more as it progresses. There is some more danger coming for them all and I look forward to reading the next part of the story.

ARC Review
Arsen's past keeps coming back to haunt him. What a nightmare! It seems for every step forward he is pushed two steps back. The trip to Fierce was quit the experience. I am anxious to find out how Steele's roommate is making out. The suspense in this series is really building. Great cliffhanger.

The book is rolling right along. Arsen is finally realizing what Steele means to him. At the end though, he has to make a huge decision. Great read.
