In eight seconds, champion bull rider Jordan Beck lost everything. His sight. His championship. His dreams. After a year of recovering from his near fatal injuries, Jordan’s brother drags him to an anti-Valentine’s Day party at the Buck-n-Wild Cowboy Bar. There Jordan meets a man named Thomas. To his shock, Jordan can see the golden shape of a winged creature—the only image he’s seen after twelve months in the dark.
Thomas Erotta, a matchmaking cupid, takes his newest hard luck case to the Buck-n-Wild Cowboy Bar to meet her true love. He expects she will leave with the man of her dreams, but Thomas never imagines he’ll find a man of his own—and certainly not a blind human who can discern his true form. Their instant connection and intense attraction ignites a passion neither can resist. And it proves that love’s arrow can pierce even Cupid’s heart.

Even Cupid needs a little love sometimes. Thomas is supposed to be doing his job setting up lonely hearts to find love when he encounters Jordan. Jordan lost his sight in an accident but can see the real Thomas. Nobody is supposed to see Thomas the way Jordan sees him. A sweet romance where the romancer meets his match.
Knocked for a loop by Cupid’s arrow not once but twice! Jordan’s life changed in a matter of seconds, instantly derailing all his plans, including coming out. Left blind from a bull riding accident he is convinced he has lost everything, until his brother drags him out to the bar for an “anti-Valentines” party. To Jordan’s utter amazement, he can “see” a man at the bar or at least the golden outline of one. Thomas cannot believe Jordan can see his true form, despite being obviously blind, intrigued he tries to get a read on him (being an actual Cupid he has the unique ability to read humans emotions and find just what they need). Thomas is shocked to find he actually has feelings for Jordan, feelings he has never felt for a human. Jordan is still in the closet though and trepidatious about Thomas’s forward flirting. When Thomas tricks Jordan into “getting back up in the saddle” (literally!) The ensuing fall sparks a kiss that blossoms into a magical interlude beyond Jordan’s wildest fantasies. Very sweet and passionate story, loved the characters and the storyline! **this book received in exchange for an honest review**
Jordan and his brother Mike have gone to a bar on Valentine's Day. Jordan lost his sight after a bull-riding accident and he is nervous about going anywhere at all. When his brother starts line-dancing he leaves Jordan by himself at the bar. Jordan, who has spent the last couple of years in darkness, is shocked to realise he can suddenly see a golden shimmer, an image of a man with Angel's wings. Thomas, is himself surprised to find that his true form has been discerned, intrigued by and attracted to Jordan he wants to see if the man is willing to get to know him. A sweet, but very short Valentine's story, I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review. The storyline was enjoyable and the dialogue both descriptive and enjoyable. The book was just too short for me, I needed a few more days or even longer of the budding relationship to get any sense of if there would be a HEA once the shine of Valentine's evening had faded and Jordan was living back in the real world of his ranch and his blindness.
This was a cute quick short story. 8 seconds is a short amount of time, but to Jordan Beck it was the longest 8 seconds of his life. Struck by cupids arrow when he was thrown in a bull riding tournament he lost his sight and all hope of finding love. Thomas Erotta is one of the cupid brother who plays matchmaker in his spare time. Taking his latest project to find the perfect partner he did not intend to be struck by cupids arrow himself. This was a great short story, well written, easy to follow and you can't help liking the characters. Jordan is a sweetie who needs love and Thomas is all about the dirty talk. I had to smile while he was making his moves on Jordan, there were a few times he forgot he could not see him and his antics were for naught. :) Thomas is the perfect man for Jordan as they both can see the real person inside. I look forward to seeing what is next in this series.
An ARC was given to me for an honest review. This is a quick fun read. He was blinded bull riding. He came to the club with his brother who is hoping to get lucky. Thomas is in the club trying to help a sweet young woman make a better choice than her previous choices. What is going on with Jordan, he can see him and he can't see anything else. For Thomas, this is the first time in a long time that he sees someone who interests him. Enjoy I did.
A rodeo tournament, a young cowboy, and one of the love gods himself. Jordan is just your average everyday cowboy but with two goals. Win the state Championship of bull riding and come out to at least his brother that he is gay. But plans change, when a horrible accident happens to him. He is beyond broken and feeling useless anymore. But what he doesn't realize is that his fate is going to walk in the bar and try to take charge.... Only question is will he let him?
I got this in exchange for an honest review, I liked this book a lot it was well written and everything was well as well I enjoyed the characters main and second Jordan and Thomas are charming characters to meet I liked how the first meet and start interacting this one was so sweet it was nice and I was surprised in the first chapter and then the end but enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone
This was a fun book and I loved the little twist thrown in. Jordan is afraid to tell his brother he is gay but when he meets Thomas, he want's to shout it to the world. You have to read to see if cupds arrow hits it mark or not, but you will love this short story
