Once again Shawnee does it again... I really enjoyed reading Protector (The Shining Ones book 2). From the first page to the last I was hooked in... A definite page turner to the end.
Protector picks up where book one leaves off. Poesy and Adam are more closer then ever... With all the excitement of the two murders that happened in book one does life go on for Poesy? You need to read Protector to find out.
My favorite part of the book is Valentines day and how Adam takes Poesy on an overnight adventure. Such sweet and beautiful magic happened... If you really want know... You need to read Protector.
I loved reading Protector... And now I'm really curious about what will happen in book 3 of The Shining Ones series

This is a great series.
It's my second time reading it and it won't be my last. Ms. Small weaves a wonderful, fascinating, non-stop adventure that you can't put down. A must read!

I really loved this book.....The fact that these events took place in the beautiful southern Savannah/Tybee Island area was fun too. I'd just visited there for the first time and fell in love with the wonderful scenery and southern hospitality.
In this book Adam Walker changes from Watcher to Protector.....keeping Poesy out of danger proves to be a 24 hour job for our hero. You see, someone or something, is set on ending the young woman's life. The relationship between Adam & Poesy develops as well, their feeling for each other deepens. Though Adam knows it's not a good idea, the couple just can't deny the attraction.
This book was even more exciting and suspenseful than the first one. I found it very difficult to put this book down. Trying to figure out what will happen next, who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. A great tale for those who love a good mystery....I can't wait for the next book Betrayer to come out next year!!

Oh the havoc angels can cause.
Adam is trying to watch and protect Posey who now carries part of his angelic soul. Murdered girls is just the start. Posey's best friend leave, long lost fathers want to be in her life, a new friend who seems too know to much and for Adam a so called brother shows up. Who can you really trust in this seat gripping paranormal suspense. A 5 star story with laughter, tears and romance angel style.

I just finished reading Protector and I can't wait for the next book to come out. What a riveting story! Ms. Small's books are well written and pull you into the story.leaving you entranced and breathless for more.

I immediately picked this second book up and started reading as i was looking forward to seeing how the story continued from Watcher. I can't wait to read the third book!

great job continuing into book 2. This is a page turner that is full of surprises. Posey finds more questions that need answers. book 3 should answer some. can't wait to read it.
