This is the complete collection of Kane (Parts !-III), Book I of the Shadow Riders MC Romance series.
Kane got more than he bargained for when when he followed Marie home from the bar. An undercover cop filtrating the Shadow Riders MC, he only wanted to do the right thing. Her sweet smiles and innocent glances looked so out of place in that crap dive. And walking alone on these streets is something she really shouldn't be doing. He figured he'd follow her gorgeous curves and make sure she got home safe.
Marie isn't convinced that the sexy, filthy-mouthed biker was just trying to help her. What's a girl to think when a man's following her down a cold, deserted sidewalk at night? She's not stupid. Yeah she came to the wrong part of town to meet a friend - a friend who didn't even bother to show up - but she knows better. Marie's ready to fight Kane; she's not willing to be a good little victim.
Everything goes south when Dom, the MC VP sees Kane stalking Marie and decides to step in. Dom's known that Kane's a cop since day one. He's hurting from the fact that his closest friend, practically his brother, has lied to him. He'd still risk his life for Kane's. He owes him that much. That doesn't make Dom want Kane's Hell Cat any less though. It doesn't look like Kane's willing to share, but that's not going to stop Dom from trying.

I was amazed how much Ms Shaw was able to pack into such a short story…
Marie ends up at a dive bikers bar to be her bestie's wing-woman, but Lexi doesn't show...so Marie leaves & since its wrong kinda of neighborhood…… She can’t catch Cab, her phone die about half hour ago, Now she realizes someone is following her…. What’s girl to do? But run for life …. Maria runs right into Dom another bad boy biker…. They both want Maria. Kane & Dom even fight for Marie to see who will win her affection …. So read the book to see whom won Marie affection

The story sucked me in from word one. It was intriguing and I was interested to find out why Marie was being followed by this man. I liked Marie, how she wasn't weak, was quick on the uptake and brave. The interplay between the characters was well done and no one was arrogant or haughty just because. No one was defined by their snark, trauma or attitude. Everyone was level and, well, human.
Things are slowly revealed about characters and that was nice. It left me wanting to learn more.
The POV shifts were good, lending insight to the characters. The sex scene was brief but hot and I look forward to what's in store for Kane and Marie.

Kane was an easy fast read. I liked it but was left with a lot of unanswered questions. I was amazed at all the characters that
were introduced. Marie goes out to a bar waiting for her friend to show. On the walk home she's stalked by Kane. A little hot alley sex ensues and then we meet Kane's fellow MC brothers. Come to find out Jane's an undercover cop though he isn't a rat on the club. Turns out the MC knew about him from day one. My laugh at this book is I'm really starting to think Crystal is a bit into threesomes with her characters at least. He he

Steamy... This is one fast paced short story that begs for the other to follow quickly. It's hot, sexy and within a short timeline has some amazing character development. You like it a little edgy? It's got that with a nice balance.

Kane is an undercover cop trying to get information on the Shadow Riders MC, when he sees Marie he just wants to do the right thing and make sure she gets home safe. Dom knows Kane’s secret and when he spies him following Marie home and he wants her too. This is a faced paced steamy read with plenty of drama and suspense. Loved it!
