This is the first book I have ever read from B.C. Shannon and I thought in my opinion it was pretty good. Surprise six was a short sexy read. Had some good laughs with a pinch of angst.

Our main character Tangier (love the name btw) is a control freak. Hates suprises of any kind after each incident that falls upon her birthday.

Now everything is perfect for Tangier, until Judge comes back into her life. These two have history, it was a crash and burn type of relationship. She is still pissed with all what went down, but Judge wants another chance.

Will Tangier give him another shot?
Or will Judge and Tangier be better of as friends?

The one thing I had trouble with this book was I felt that Tangier really didn't give Judge the time of day to show just how beautiful there relationship could be if she gave him another chance.

Will I read more from this author, and the answer is yes.
If you are looking for a short and spicy read, then this one is for you.

Tangier was quite the character in the first book, even though she only made a few appearances. In this book, OMG, she is amazeballs. She has had some crappy luck, no doubt. Every 6 years, she had something bad happen on her birthday. So, she decided the way to keep bad shit from happening is to take control of her life. Everything is great until the love of her life shows up out of nowhere - on her birthday!

Judge - yummy Judge, once he realizes he has another shot at getting Tangier back, he goes all out. Their past is all sorts of messed up and at some points it doesn't seem like there's anyway it will work out. The storyline is great, the character development is fantastic, and the sex is HOT!

This was a roller coaster ride of a story. I absolutely love Judge and Tangier.

Holy hotness! Tangier has got to be one of the most fun female characters I've ever read. She is a dirty, dirty girl and I love it.

Tangier has had a rough life. Every 6 years from the time she was 6 she has something unpleasant occur on her birthday. After her 18th, she decides that controlling every aspect of her life is the best way to stop the bad stuff. It works, mostly. Until once again on her 24th birthday she gets a surprise in the form of Judge Carter. This blast from the past rocks her carefully built house of cards and it all comes tumbling down. But it's oh so fun to watch.
