And so it starts

I’m actually not really sure what starts - but a reaper is created - a cure for cancer is found.

Hoping this very short story is the start of a series or at least a book to answer all the questions it brought up.

Cool!

Wasn't really sure how this book was going to go but I have to say that I was pleased with the way things went. I really enjoyed reading this book. Would recommend.

Dr. Richard is dying of cancer, but when Cardinal offers him a cure with a catch, will he take it? Ruby is about to be killed in a few days for killing men that were beating on a woman. But that victim never came forward so Ruby will be put to death. Richard finds her as the perfect person to give Cardinal to save all of humanity. But she has terms before she agrees, she want's to lose her virginity. Will Richard be able to find someone willing to sleep with her before his cancer kills him first? Great short story, I hope we learn more of the outcome in book one of this series.

A nice introduction into this world written by Monica Corwin. I could almost make a joke: A scientist, an angel, and a criminal walk into a bar... It looks like the worlds coming to an end and an angel named Cardinal has chosen two humans to be the first in his plan to save the part of humanity that deserves it.

I look forward to seeing what happens to the first reaper and who else is chosen for this job. What the significance of the nine souls will be.
