***This story has been previously published as The Perfect Size for You by Torquere Press in the Take It Like a Man anthology. This second edition has been expanded and reedited.***
A male escort takes on an inexperienced client and breaks the first rule of rent boys: don’t get attached.
After updating his Rent Boy blog profile, well-endowed porn star Ty receives a text from a sexually inexperienced client. Andy, the client, asks Ty to provide him with the necessary know-how so should he ever get a date with the guy he’s attracted to, he’ll be fully prepared.
Little does Ty know that this hookup will lead to a friendship that will subsequently change his life.
Hot, dirty and fast! 😍🔥 I love that this is not the common tale of an escort falling in love with a billionaire. 😅 The client is an ordinary guy who’s just an inexperienced virgin. And he wanted some experience before going for the guy he wanted to date and instead, he fell for his mentor. It was sweet, endearing and really really hot! 🔥🔥🔥 I also like the unexpected roles reversal between Ty and Andy. It was refreshing. And Sean Crisden did a good job with this one. This definitely was a perfect bite sized audio. Loved it! 💜🥰
This is another perfect length "bathtub book" from Lily G. Blunt. Just long enough for an enjoyable read and short enough that you can read in your bathtub before the water gets cold.
The premise for this one is exciting and promising. A gay man with no sexual experience hires a male escort to show him the ropes of gay sex before he goes on his first date. It reminds me of a condensed version of the smoking hot Bonds of Denial by Lynda Aicher. But while Bonds of Denial was a fully fleshed out novel with a spectacular HEA, The Perfect Size for You is a short story that ends with a HFN. It was hot and had some romance, but ended just when things were getting interesting. This is often the case with short stories but was particularly hard to swallow because the characters were so interesting and I was really enjoying their story.
In summary, this is a great quick-and-dirty romance with a disappointing ending. Maybe there will be a sequel? We can hope!
Not sure why I felt a little protective about Andy. He is super sweet and has no experience. He arranges a date with a rent boy, and things between the two of them progress pretty slowly. But they do progress! I won't say much more because the book is only 70 pages long, and it's kind of cute, tbh. I hope you enjoy it like I did.
This book was cute when I read it. Same goes with the Audio. Although it's on the short side its a cute story and I think the narrator does a good job with the MC's and their voices with how I pictured them in my head.
This one was short so I'm going to keep the review short as well...
"Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You" was unfortunately not the perfect story for me in spite of the fact that it was narrated by Sean Crisden, one of my favorite narrators. Overall this story just wasn't working for me.
Sorry but in a nutshell we've got a naive young college boy hiring a rent boy to teach him about sex so he'll know what to do when...read if his secret crush ever gives him the timeee of day and before I know it, it's the naive young college boy who's getting all pushy and toppy with the rent boy.
I'm not even saying that this couldn't possibly happen but with only 1 hour and 8 minutes to convince me...well, I just wasn't convinced. Maybe if the story was a bit longer and might I say apparently the only thing that needed to be longer was the story everything else was "the perfect size".
This was my first time listening to a story by this author and while it didn't goes as I'd hoped there are other stories and who knows how they'll turn out.

In a variation on the rent boy theme, Ty learns about building a friendship with his inexperienced client, Andy, who hires him to learn about sex so he is prepared for a date and hopefully more with the man he is after. At first that seems okay to Ty, but as he discovers more about Andy, he also notices something new for him: jealousy at the thought of Andy becoming someone else's boyfriend. The story is built around this growing realization, and consists not only of some very hot "teaching" situations, but also has a nice little twist to offer.
I had to smile at Ty working on his rent boy profile. Just like anyone marketing themselves, he has to think about his best physical features, his target group and what they might want, and whom he wants as clients in the first place. Once he gets going, Andy the shy physics student seems to be an easy client, but he doesn’t want "the usual", so Ty gets pulled in more as they talk. The slide from pure client to friend was gradual, but once Ty is there, he cannot go back. And the thought of Andy doing all this to be with another man becomes a real issue for Ty.
Andy has a very clear plan, being a physics geek that is to be expected, but his priorities shift as well. He takes a lot longer to get there, but he has far less experience as well. All he wants is to impress the guy he thinks he has fallen for, but getting to know Ty he also begins to see what a real relationship can be like. And that is just the friendship they soon share…
If you like stories about rent boys who change their minds about their life, if you enjoy reading about geeks and their sometimes clumsy plans to get close to a person they like, and if you're looking for a fun, short read with lots of hot bedroom activity, then you will probably , like this short story.

I always have mixed feeling about reading short stories/novellas. On the one hand, they’re the perfect length to sit back and take in a story in its entirety (I hate how work and life force me to interrupt a good story). On the other hand, it’s difficult to fully develop characters and their relationships in a short amount of space.
In Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You, Ms. Blunt managed to deliver an awesome bite-sized story. To start with, the premise of a rent boy is hot. I find the idea of anonymous encounters to be rather alluring. Add to that the humanizing of the escort, Ty, by showing that just because someone works in porn and sells sex for money, it doesn’t mean they aren’t a real person with feelings.
The other protagonist, Andy, was also well developed, initially depicted as a geeky, inexperienced, nerd who was looking to practice his sex skills so he wouldn’t make a fool of himself when he finally landed the man he was interested in.
What really did it for me in this story was the sex. It isn’t often that I experience an erotic romance where the author really takes his or her time explicitly drawing out each moment. The sensations, tastes, even smells were delivered with precision, and I was glad that I was alone as I read them since I would have made myself, and everyone else, embarrassed by my body’s physical reaction.
There really isn’t anything I can say as a criticism to this story. It was fun, fast-paced, and surpassed my expectations. So if you’re on the run and looking for a hot read with a capital HOT, this is definitely the book for you.
***Audiobook***Narrated by Sean Crisden***In Finding Love, Lily Blunt delivers a sweet and sexy "snack-sized" story :)
I knew from the book blurb that I would like this one. Porn star/rent boy plus inexperienced glasses-wearing nerd pushes all my buttons. And this did not disappoint.
Adam hires Ty to teach him what to do with a man. He's in love with his friend Evan and doesn't want to embarrass himself if he does manage to score a date with the guy. Of course Adam and Ty hit it off and Ty soon realizes that Adam is more than just a client. I like that their relationship didn't happen over night. Insta-love is so common in novellas, but it's a huge pet peeve of mine.
Very well written and well narrated. Sean Crisden does an awesome job with both Ty and Adam! Lily Blunt is a new to me author, but I will definitely check out her other work.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
As the blurb already tells you this is the story of Ty, a rent-boy, and Andy, a sweet and sexually inexperienced guy who's looking for someone to teach him how to have sex. Andy has had a crush on his friend for quite a while and wants to be prepared for when he has a date with this friend. So Andy hires Ty to just"show him the ropes"; just a professional relationship.. But of course things don't go as planned. ;) While this is similar to other rent-boy falling for client stories I’ve read, Ms. Blunt managed to make me really care for both of the characters right from the start. I loved Ty questioning how to best advertise himself and could easily picture myself in his place. When I read the blurb I was prepared for the stereotypical sexworker, being overly confident and shallow. I can assure you that Ty is nothing like that!
Despite this being a short story Ms. Blunt manages to by the end make you feel like you know these two. I really enjoyed that Finding Love doesn't feature another case of insta-love, but that they fall slowly in love over several "dates". I liked the realistic-ness of Ty and Andy starting things slow and working up to the actual sex because sex is an intimate act, doesn't matter whether there's money involved or not. I imagine the lines are easily blurred between professional and personal relationship and it was so beautiful to see this happening here.
If you're looking for something short and sweet, this is the right book for you. *Review copy of Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You was provided by the author in exchange of an honest review.*
There were many things I enjoyed about Lily G. Blunt's short story. She has a confident writing style that reads easily, with a sense of humor and eroticism that made The Perfect Size for You a treat. The characterizations are clear, as are the motivations, and the plot moved along swiftly. I think if I had anything to pick out, I would say that sometimes the language made the characters sound older (I don't know any 25 year old porn actor escort who would call older women "saucy mares") or from another generation, and the narration--although confident and fun--sounded like a middle-aged man while the younger love interest sounded like Chris (Meg's brother, I think?) from Family Guy. At times there was more telling than showing of the motivations, feelings, and thoughts of the characters, but I didn't mind--again, this was a well written, easy to read short piece to enjoy.
This is a great short listen and surprisingly emotive for such a short story. Lily paints a great picture of both Ty and Andy, their personalities, lives and feelings as they meet and develop a bond. I felt all the emotions as they fell for each other, and their connections are deliciously steamy!!! I loved the surprise that is Andy, an adorable geek, with more under the surface! Hats off to the truly talented Lily for creating such a concise and perfect little taster with so few words!!!
Ty is a porn star and rent boy. When he gets a new younger client, Andy, who's an innocent, a virgin, and wants to gain experience it doesn't take long before Ty falls head over heels.
I loved both Ty and Andy. Ty is sweet and wholesome despite his jobs. Andy is young, naive, and also very sweet. I loved them together, but was upset on Ty's behalf for Andy's behavior towards the end. Very happy they got their HEA.
A thoroughly enjoyable hour and ten mins listening to this short, sweet and sexy story. Loved the dynamics between Andy and Ty, a bit different than I expected going in to the story. Recommended.
I enjoy this so much, I was a little sad it had to end, I could definitely watch the movie version of it. Loved the progression in Tyrone from it being all about the money, to the realization he was falling for his client. Hot, but special too, this story left a warm sweet taste in my heart. Adored Tyrone's granny, she made me laugh.
In Finding Love Lily G. Blunt gives Ty and Andy a sweet boyish quality of discovery about them that endeared me to them and held me captive needing to know where their attraction would lead.
Their connection is honest and enjoyable and a reminder that our feelings should not be held back lest we miss the chance at true happiness.
Lily G Blunt is a new writer for me. I think I might describe this as tongue-in-cheek. I might say it was a simple short read that was not what was expected. Despite being a short read and I wasn’t disappointed because it worked. I enjoyed it and I found myself chuckling more than a few times and the end was satisfiying.
Having read Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You at its release in 2016 I can’t imagine anyone more perfect than Sean Crisden to narrate Lily G. Blunt’s tantalizingly erotic novella. His tone and inflection make Tyron’s confidence and cockiness so much a reality you can almost see his charming smirk. And when Sean switches to Andy, wow! The young man’s youthfulness, innocence, and nervousness are loud and clear.
After updating his “rent boy” site in the most direct of ways (hint: perfect size for you) Ty finds a quick hit. When he meets his “trick” the man is not who he expects. Rather he’s a virgin who’s looking to get some “experience” so he can come out to his best friend, Evan, on whom he’s had a longtime crush.
From the start Ty and Andy’s interactions are easy, relaxed – almost date like. With his escort service taking off, and his thoughts now constantly turning to Andy, Ty is torn. As a friendship develops so do other emotions and when Andy begins to date Evan, Ty feels something he’s never felt before. Jealousy.
Grab your earbuds and sit down with this titillating tale of sex ed as Sean Crisden reads Lily G. Blunt’s Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You as it should be read...
Once Ty has to “man up” for Andy he realizes this is no longer a normal hookup. But is Andy really the innocent virgin or is this just the scene he’s paying for? And can Ty cut him off with his heart now in the mix? Will it only be friends with benefits or will Thursday night sessions lead to more?
Grab your earbuds and sit down with this titillating tale of sex ed as Sean Crisden reads Lily G. Blunt’s Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You as it should be read; making you fantasize between erotica and erotic romance.
The dynamic in this story was quite interesting to me. I really enjoyed this sexy short!
Andy is 18 and a half (you can see my ID for proof) years old and a virgin. He's gay, but isn't out to anyone yet, including the best friend that he wants a relationship with. In an effort to gain some experience, he hires an escort.
Ty isn't just any escort. He's a porn star, too. And he's proud of his body, his job and who he is. But when he gets a call from Andy, the skinny nerd, he's not sure what to think. But he soon finds out you can't judge a book by it's cover.
I was fascinated by the fact that it was Andy who was the dominant force in the relationship. He held the power, which was new and uncomfortable for Ty at first. I felt like this put them on an even keel in the relationship and made it super sweet. Honestly, I had wished for more, but the HFN ending was good enough for me.
The narration by Sean Crisden was brilliant. Ty had that cocky, mature, aggressive voice that just spoke of experience and oozed sex appeal. And his version of Andy made me laugh numerous times. His nasally, nerdy tone went deep when he was the aggressor and really added to the experience. I loved this audio!

Overall 3 out of 5 stars Performance 3 out of 5 stars Story 3 out of 5 stars
An easy listen to pass the time. The sub-title, The Perfect Size for You, is a spot-on description for this listen. It was just right for my commute back and forth to work today. I like the idea of an escort/rent boy finding love with one of his clients, but I didn't love the idea of the client continuing to use said escort while dating the guy he originally hired the escort to help win over. I wish Andy had used that as an excuse to continue to see Ty, but never actually ended up dating Ethan (or was it Evan?). As it was, the "relationship" between Andy and Ethan/Evan didn't last very long- it was kind of a weird situation to begin with. I kind of felt bad for Ty, but things worked out for the best, so there's that.
I enjoy Sean Crisden's narration, but I thought in this case he just sounded much older than a 25/26 year old.
I guess I thought it would have a little more substance. But this was like a started book. But the narrator sounded good. This was short only an hour long. But was a interesting premise. I would read this author again on something longer with substance.
