I really like how M.S. Parker writes. However, the ending of this serialized story is very unsatisfying. The story does not end with these last few chapters.

Craving Him is supposed to come out in August. Will this be another serialized story. Why can't authors put out a whole book? The serialized story of Serving Him was a 6 volume serial with each volume coming out at 1 week intervals. Why not just put the story I one book and then release it after the story is done. A series of books is just fine as with 50 Shades. Just make them full books, not just a few chapters at a time.

Good Serial read overall.

I think this is a FSOG borrowed story without the angst. Although, they do create a little of their own they are a much more easy, layed back couple. In this story, she is his personal assistant, selected by his retiring personal assistant who sees good qualities in this untrained woman. The most important trait being able to speak up and be honest when it is needed and not be intimidated by her boss.

He is a sexual Dominant - with the name:.....you guessed it....Dominic. He draws her into his brand of sex slowly and easily. The difference from FSOG is she does not have the inner conflict Ana does and he does not seem confused about his own needs as Christian does. Those folks who found FSOG unrealistic and unrepresentative of the BDSM world will no doubt find this lacking. But it does not make up the entire story line and there are some steamy romantic sex scenes.

Other parallels: He is rich, has "staff" who are a big part of the story, loves baths, talks about food, is adopted (big part of the story-line) and even has a horrible experience as a teenager that really alters his psyche and debilitates him...as does Christian but with Aleena's gentle love and persistence she helps him overcome it's control over him.

Probably the most refreshing thing about this story is the added dimension of race. Aleena is a bi-racial girl, who's mother is black and father is white. It is addressed here in this story lightly. Dominic's family and friends are not too happy to see him dating her; partly for her not being from the right class and partly because of her race. And his mother even calls her "exotic." Dominic's own reaction to this is a lack of defense...at one point it looks as if this couple will call it quits because of it. But rather the author uses this event for the main characters to do some self reflection and tackle this obstacle head on.

They are a wonderful couple, supportive, loving and sexy. The story line is interesting and although borrowed a bit, still original enough that I kept turning the pages. I really enjoyed it. This was a sweet romantic story that captured my attention and I'm glad I read.

PS. I thought this was the end of the story and thought, the only thing lacking is a epilogue....it does end a little abruptly then I read there is one more small installment coming out soon. That makes sense.

I'm not sure...

I love that the authors wanted to write a erotic series about a diverse couple. It's that diversity and joining of backgrounds that makes the world beautiful. However I think the more important issue in the story was class not race. He was wealthy and she was a small town girl. The fact that she happened to be half black really didn't have to be an issue. It's 2015 in New York City... a fabulous melting pot of ethnicities. A half black woman and white man is hardly a problem. Good luck finding anyone that's not mixed with something. I am unfortunately aware that racism exists, but I don't like it and I don't want to read about it. This series could have been just as intriguing without the race issues. It was almost like the 1960s in some respects. Dominic seemed a bit cold and distant and Aleen acted like a doormat at times. Their relationship seemed a bit one side. I love all of M.S. Parker's books, but this one was a miss for me.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads~~

The final in a serial of 6 installments - definitely need to read in order as follows straight on from the previous episode.

What a perfect concluding installment to this series. So much more than an erotic romance, this deals with a number of significant issues in a thoughtful and at times provocative way. Throw in a host of interesting characters, some off-the-charts-hot enjoyable sex, and some business affairs - and you get a rich, entertaining and very worthwhile read.

This series definitely makes it onto my reread pile - the one for really hot and steamy reads! Thank you Ms Parker and Ms Wild

Loved this last book! Things tied up nicely with the 6th installment. Dominic finally gets some closure on his past and his adoption. Aleena starts to believe her & Dominic can actually have a relationship and things go well from there with a very nice HEA. Thoroughly enjoyed this story from 1-6, well worth the read! The story was written well with many wonderful scenes showing Dominic's alpha male, characters were believable and the story was fast flowing.

I can't get enough of Dominic's & Aleena's story. The love they have for each other and Dominic finally says what Aleena always wanted to her. With the investigation still going on with finding who his parents are, will finding the information hurt their relationship or bring them together even more. I am so excited to get more of Dom & Aleena. Amazing series

Love the way that Dominic and Aleena came together. Whatever happened with the relationship with Dominic and his mother? Things didnt seem to be equal between the two of them outside the bedroom as I thought that would be.

Everything was way too rushed. Hardly any character development, just here's Dominic hinting towards his birth mother and then they're at a party being hosted by her. Next chapter sums up what should take weeks in only a paragraph. Disappointing in comparison to the other books.

This review is for all six books in the Serving Him series.

Serving Him is a six part serial romance that really delivers. The main characters are both interesting and easy to connect to, the heat levels are off the scale and the storyline kept my attention from the start of book one until the end of book six. Sometimes I get annoyed with authors splitting stories up into separate parts, but this one really worked for me. The story was paced well throughout the six books, each part was satisfying to read and left me wanting more. I would definitely read more from these two authors as I enjoyed this steamy series a lot.

Aleena moved to New York from Iowa determined to make a life for herself. So far it's not going totally to plan though - her roommate is a complete bitch and her boss is a creep. Things start to look up for her when she meets Dominic - although it doesn't start off well when he accidentally gets her fired from her waitressing job! She eventually lands a dream job working for dishy Dominic and she soon starts to fall for the temperamental billionaire. Dominic thinks Aleena is far too good and innocent for him though - he has a dark, tragic past and doesn't do normal relationships. He only has quick flings with submissives who know the score - he can't offer anything more than sex. But he can't deny the strong connection between him and his employee and things start to heat up between this sexy pair.

Dominic is a fascinating character who had me intrigued right from the start. When we begin to learn about his past it becomes clear why he is as controlling as he is, and my heart really broke for him. Aleena seems to be the perfect match for him, but their journey is not an easy one as there are lots of speed bumps in their path. As well as the romantic storyline, I really enjoyed the sub-plot about Dominic's adoption as it added an extra element to the story. Serving Him is a great series that I'd definitely recommend. All six books were impossible to put down so they all receive five stars.

Eh...the overall series was ok. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I really felt no connection between the characters. The scenes that were supposed to be hot and steamy made me feel absolutely nothing.

Aleena, I found a bit annoying at times; I don't think I will ever understand how a woman can let herself be used as a doormat just because her body responds to a male and she wants him sexually. Maybe this is just me though, because authors continue to use this in their stories and readers continue to rave over the books. It's just not for me.

This story is based in New York, present day; maybe I would have believed the issues with race if this story too, place in some small town or decades ago. Today, New York is a melting pot and seeing biracial people and couples is extremely common. I mean, based on her thoughts and the other characters' actions, you would think that Aleena was the only biracial individual in the whole city. I didn't find that aspect realistic.

I wanted to see more of a balance, and while Dominic did admit he loved her and said some nice words every now and then, I personally never really found his actions were sweet or proved his love. I found him too controlling and always rough in their "lovemaking."

Another thing...in the beginning we are told that Aleena is close with her father and talks to him every week. Then, he drops off the face of the Earth and she doesn't speak to him once. We are also led to believe that this necklace she wears is of high sentimental value, then we are told nothing behind it (besides that it's her grandma's). What the heck is the point of even bringing these up if there is nothing revolving around her family for the entire book. Pointless!

The ending also felt a bit risked to me; I mean she took 700 pages to get there, then she wraps up one of the main conflicts in a couple chapters.

I got enough closure in this one, I think I'll pass on the extra 300 pages written about them in Craving Him. Thanks, but no thanks.

“I looped my arms around his neck as he bent forward, arching me backward. He pressed a hot, open mouthed kiss to the center of my chest, his mouth open. It was raw, intimate touch, so much more than a kiss, so much more than a caress.”

4 Stars. This was a great conclusion to the series. It answered all the questions you may have had answered and well who doesn’t love a happy ending? Great series!!!

No more cliffhangers! Read the conclusion to Serving HIM.

I loved Dominic’s and Aleena’s love story. Yes it was a six part cliffhanger and yes there is another book coming out in the series. But I love that about these books, it leaves you wanting more. Dominic finally gets the answer regarding his birth mother and father and he and Aleena finally figure out what they want out of their relationship and where they want to go from here. I’m excited that there’s another book in the series coming out. Great series!!

3.5 stars

This review reflects on the entire series as a whole (books 1-6). Aleena (a name that I found to be very hot in a guys perspective) is great. She's a small town girl with some tough skin on her and doesn't let the high life of New York's finest suck her in or kick her around. I loved the fact that she's bi-racial (you don't get too many racial varieties in romance novels these days). There were times where I got really mad at her for telling her best friend Molly (great character also, but she disappears in either 5 or 6) EVERYTHING. If you've ever been in a serious relationship you know that's a no-no, but she did suffer the consequences on some aspects. Also, I did enjoy her role to please Dominic in the way he needed (sexually) once their relationship advanced. Overall she was a good character to follow through her journey.

Dominic was also very interesting. With the help of Aleena he is able to see his life for what it really is and not run away from his past or look the other direction when something negative is happening around him. I loved how protective he was when it came to Aleena and it was nice seeing him grow and evolve into a better man.

The reason I feel like this series should be 3.5 stars is because the first two books were the best, the second two were fill-ins and the last two were really just kind of there. I'm glad Dominic and Aleena got their HEAs, but like I said Molly disappeared, we don't know where Dominic's relationship stands with his mother *SPOILER ALERT* either one after he found his birth mother at the end and there was no epilogue which would have been really nice. Plus with all of the unprotected sex they began having I was hoping for a surprise pregnancy.

Book six and the end of Aleena and Dominic's journey, I am not ready to say good bye to them yet. This series of books has been an emotional roller coaster of a ride to say the least and book six deliveries nothing less than perfection.

The story in this book is very well written and well developed and the plot is fast paced and full of twists and turns that you will not see coming. This book has it all from drama to mystery to the lifestyle of BDSM. The characters in this book are very well written and I don't think I have to remind everyone that Dominic is mine and even though he is into BDSM, I will not share him with anyone but Aleena after all she did have him first.

So much happens in this book, some things that I was ready to happen and some things that you are not expecting to happen. I think the best thing that happens in this book is Dominic finally serving Penelope what she deserves and putting in her place, it was the finest moment of the book for me. In this book we will also see Dominic finally open up and place his trust in Aleena and we see their relationship defined when Dominic calls Aleena his girlfriend.

When you get to the end of this book there is a short blurb from the authors that made me beyond happy, that they were going to write one more story, and it will Dominic's. I absolutely cannot wait to read that book and whatever else MS Parker and Cassie Wild decide to write. SERVING HIM has been an emotional, sexy ride of a read and I cant wait to see what these two authors will come up with next.

WOW This series is FANTASTIC!!!! Totally rocks!! It’s hot but sweet. It’s got strong characters but they are also fiercely independent. It’s got so much heart but its also very erotic. Did I say it’s hot? Cause it’s HOT!!!

During this series you will follow Aleena Davison through her early adulthood. She will find herself, learn about herself and become truly comfortable in her own skin. You see, Aleena is half black and half white. What she doesn’t see is that she has a value and a strength that will be tested and never broken. She also doesn’t see the sexual fire she has. She’s never had too. She’s only had one lover and that was a terrible experience.

Dominic has major issues, probably more than Aleena and definitely deeper. He doesn’t do relationships, he is a certified workaholic and has serious issues with the way he was brought up. He’s rich, always has been, and because of his “social status” he has a lot of pressure to meet certain expectations. These are not expectations that Aleena can fulfill because she doesn’t have the cold heart it takes to live in his world.

Can Aleena be enough for Dom? Can Dom finally give his whole self to her? Will Aleena be able to stand up for herself and become the woman she was always meant to be?

OMG! Go 1click all these books RIGHT NOW!!!! Amazing!!! M.S. Parker is amazing and I’ve read most of her books so I can tell you….she genius!!! But this might be one of my favorites. I was seriously sad when it ended!!!

Highly Recommend!!!

FYI, I'm giving my review of the six novella's as a whole and not each individual one....

Let me start of with WOW! What a fantastic read! I literally couldn't put the books down and totally adored Aleena and Dominic. They're chemistry was on fire and their connection is just adorable.

There were some serious moments that you felt so connected with Aleena and the position she finds herself in. Down on your luck girl gets dream job with hottie boss...that happens to everyone, right?! In our fantasy for sure!

Dominic is an amazing character. Not nearly as "alpha" as I would actually imagine someone in his position...but he puts off enough of the alpha vibe that it works. His background is thoroughly captivating and I really wish there was more to it. I felt like it was just more brushed over here and there instead of really dedicating more to it. But what was there, was really great!

These two overcome some serious obstacles in the forms of family, friends, and the past. Nothing is easy for them but they work so well together and make you always feel like there's hope for people that grow up so differently between race, money, status, etc...and fall so head over heals for one another.

Overall, amazing read! Loved all six novellas!

M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild have really out done themselves with this series!

This series was one emotional roller coaster ride from beginning to end but it was well worth it! Dominic Snow was one incredibly HOT Alpha Male that was sinfully delicious and Aleena Davison's character was absolutely stunning through the entire book! I could not get enough of these two and I am so glad to know that this series will continue later on down the line. This Vol does pick up right where Vol 5 leaves off and it is hot and steamy right away you learn a lot right off the bat and let me say this one is full of action packed suspense drama and some craziness all packed into one novella our authors do not hold back at all on this one! Dominic and Aleena are absolutely made for each other and you can see it in this volume the just fit so perfectly together especially when things tend to heat up or a crisis is in process the better question might be when is one not in process?

There is some amazing chemistry between the two main characters and the writers do an amazing job of tying the readers in to make you feel like you are along for the journey. If you haven't downloaded this or added it to your TBR list add it today!!

Dominic was meeting with a private investigator to look for his biological mother. When he met with Mr. Kowalski he told Dominic that his father is a rude and that he sees the world in two groups their peers and everyone beneath them. Dominic's father told the PI that he might have been a black market adoption baby. After the meeting Dominic was punishing himself for being so selfish. Dominic put both his mother and wanna be girlfriend in their place.
Aleena knew what it ment to work hard, she loves Dominic, she has a backbone and isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks. Dominic is trying to find his birth mother, he admired Jefferson Sinclair. Jefferson Sinclair is a politician and he is very straight forward and honest person. He comes from new money. Mr. Kowalski is the PI that Dominic hired to find his mother. Penelope will do people who are barely legal and she likes to make fun of people that she hires. Hates Aleena for taking Dominic away from her. Jacqueline is always trying to push Dominic and Penelope together. Only wanted a child to love.
This is the final installment of this series. I truly loved this it's very well written and the characters are very well developed. This series is one series that I know I will be able to read again.

I was pulled right into this story. This is a 6 part story so be prepared to get all 6 parts. The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, naughty fun, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Serving HIM Vol. 1 (Serving HIM, #1)
Serving HIM Vol. 2 (Serving HIM, #2)
Serving HIM Vol. 3 (Serving HIM, #3)
Serving HIM Vol. 4 (Serving HIM, #4)
Serving HIM Vol. 5 (Serving HIM #5)

This is the sixth and final part of Aleena and Dominic’s story. Aleena and Dominic have been through so much. But with him digging in his past to find the truth how much more are they going to have to deal with. Will the truth be enough? All the pain and rage for the acts of the past could be cleared up with one person. Is that person willing to give Dominic the answers he needs? Will he find his birthmother? Will the sins of the past be cleared up enough for Dominic to be able to move on with his life? Will Dominic shut out Aleena or will this be when he needs and loves her more than ever before?

I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. The ending was a little rushed. I hope we get more from this couple at a later time.

I highly recommend this book and series.

This is the 6th and final book of the Serving Him Series and should be read in order.

Just when things start getting back on track for Aleena and her ruggedly handsome boss outside the bedroom, Dominic lets Aleena in on the fact that he’s digging into his past. Will the secrets he finds make him recoil into himself again or will they finally help him heal?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review and boy was this an amazing ending as it was just the beginning of the collaboration for MS Parker and Cassie Wild.

Aleena and Dominic have had a lot to deal with like any couple but with a past like Dominic it adds to their challenges they face together. Aleena finally steps up, puts on her big girl pants, and puts her trust in Dominic. Dominic’s Dom side has always wanted nothing more than to protect the ones he loves and Aleena is the one person he loves the most. Secrets of who Dominic’s parents are, are reveal along with how and why his mother who loves him so much fought to protect that secret but in the end all is revealed.

I love that Dominic finally got his answers BUT I feel like the story could have gone on a little more. Now they have conquered the demons , the past , the secrets , the unanswered questions , the horrible manipulators so lets see some of their lives happy and peaceful !! Maybe not another part but a few more chapters , an epilogue , years down the road IDK I am left wanting more. BUT as a whole I adored this series. As much as the erotic nature of it was steaming I thought Dominic was amazing. I loved how Aleena was so open to learn from him but more than that I loved how much Dominic learned. He really opened up and the emotions he felt were so real and easy to relate to. I said it more than once , the guy just honestly had no clue how to have a normal relationship. Having Aleena's race play a role in this story was unique but also a reality. It may be 2015 but when it comes to those kinds of people race and upbringing still play a role in their high society do's and dont's. Regardless you can see how good Aleena is for Dominic and I just love them together. I look forward to more from the authors and will continue reading them.

I sort of got my HEA. The reason I say that is because yes Serving Him ended well and there was no cliffhanger but, it wasn’t quite the ending I wanted. But, is it “the end” it looks like there will be a follow up book "Craving HIM" due out in August some time! Which of course I will be very happy for! Dominic declares his love for Aleena finally. I love that! And, I think he finally got rid of Penelope. I did not like her at all she was trouble and a big “B”!!!! If you get my meaning. But, you will have read Serving Him VI to see how.

I have loved this series and yes I am glad to see that there will be 1 more book to follow up on Dominic and Aleena! And, it looks like our collaborators/Authors M. S. Parker & Cassie Wild will be writing another series together "Pure Lust". Yippee! Because they really did do a great job and I think they co-wrote Serving HIM pretty seamlessly!

A stunning conclusion to the Serving Him series by M.S. Parker. Dominic and Aleena have come along way, learning about each other's past, and how it has shaped their feelings and who they are today. Dominic's need to know who his birth parents were, was the main story in this final book. I love how Dominic tells Aleena how he loves her and how she IS his future.

This book was excellently written as per usual for these talented authors. Some of my favorite quotes from this book:

"Like the woman I'm desperate to touch?" He ran his fingers down my cheek. "To make love to? All the time? Every day? Every way I can?"

Aleena's response: I slid my eyes to meet his and leaned in, kissing him firmly. "Stop being a living, breathing temptation."

"What the hell was that?" I mumbled.
"You got your first glimpse at what some people call subspace."

"Who knew that letting go could feel so good?"

Serving Him Vol 6 - MS Parker/Cassie Wild 5 Red Hot Stars

This is the final (-ish) volume to Serving Him, WOW how I have loved this series, loved this final installment and whilst the series finished really nicely .....it look's like there's going to be a follow up 'Craving Him'. I'm just hoping it's not 6 more!! Personally I prefer one larger book than lot's of smaller installments, having said that I have been totally addicted to this series, having absolutely loved Dominic and Aleena's characters, the twists and turns that unfolded, their BDSM journey together and how Aleena still likes to think she's a 'good girl'! As with all of the books written by MS Parker and now Cassie Wild too, I am never left disappointed - they are addictive page turners, passionate, bursting with chemistry and so well written. Would I recommend this series - without a doubt... 5 massive stars from me.
