I guess I'm in the minority here. It took everything to finish this volume. Each volume to me gets harder and harder to finish. I think I won't be continuing. I in no way felt a connection to Aleena and Dominic. Such a powerful man instantly falls in love with a broke waitress from Iowa. She got hired on in an instant through his company and the first day she arrives he can't control his hard on? She's only 21 too. And becomes his personal assistant and does the job better than Fawna who has done it for years? It's all just too much too quick but that's not even what has me done with this series. I can't find a single thing wrong with Dominic and Aleena is constantly acting like an immature "woe is me because I'm half black" kinda girl. It seems to me that it's Aleena who has the most problem being "half black" as she constantly reminds us in these volumes. Only two characters made her feel less than worthy. Dominic's mother and the bitchy Penelope who obviously wants Dominic for herself. Oh and I guess the guy at the party who called her a stupid black bitch. I get racism is real. I get it. But my point is Dominic never once showed her disrespect or embarrassed of her. It got to be so boring and aggravating being in Aleena's head. I honestly don't understand the reviews saying they had "tears" and "omg! Heart wrenching" etc. SMH

The fourth in a serial of 6 installments - definitely need to read in order as follows straight on from the previous episode.
As Dominic struggles so much with the idea of needing Aleena, not just wanting her, things threaten to derail again - even without the interference of others. The ever present issues of class and race are raised again, and forces the reader to really think about the attitudes of these characters. We learn more about Dominic's past, as Aleena forces the point. It is so clear that he really does need her, but can he bear to live with that reality. As this becomes a relationship it is ever harder for him to cope with the idea. In the meantime we are also treated to some dazzlingly good chemistry laden scenes which I think may be better read in private!
My fascination with how this will play out is undiminished, so off to book 5 straightaway!

With the 4th installment we delve deeper into Dominic's world. He's attempting to acquire a competitive match making business and this takes him and Aleena to Pittsburgh. Penelope makes a surprise appearance & attempts to yet again disrupt the fragile relationship Dominic and Aleena are trying to forge. She's just about successful, convincing Dominic that Aleena is behaving badly. We get some more information on Dominic's dark background after Aleena gives him the ultimate ultimatum...spill or I'm walking. I'm enjoying the dynamic between Aleena and Dominic. Aleena is half black and the racial slurs by the upper crest people Dominic runs with have her brisling. Her comebacks and strong will make her a great female lead character. Dominic has some very good dirty talk in this installment and I love a Dom with dirty talk!
Well he cant expect to have his cake and eat it too. He starts this relationship that he said he wants to try then they avoid each other. Penelope finds them each time they are in Philadelphia, is she having them followed or is it his mom?
This review is for all six books in the Serving Him series.
Serving Him is a six part serial romance that really delivers. The main characters are both interesting and easy to connect to, the heat levels are off the scale and the storyline kept my attention from the start of book one until the end of book six. Sometimes I get annoyed with authors splitting stories up into separate parts, but this one really worked for me. The story was paced well throughout the six books, each part was satisfying to read and left me wanting more. I would definitely read more from these two authors as I enjoyed this steamy series a lot.
Aleena moved to New York from Iowa determined to make a life for herself. So far it's not going totally to plan though - her roommate is a complete bitch and her boss is a creep. Things start to look up for her when she meets Dominic - although it doesn't start off well when he accidentally gets her fired from her waitressing job! She eventually lands a dream job working for dishy Dominic and she soon starts to fall for the temperamental billionaire. Dominic thinks Aleena is far too good and innocent for him though - he has a dark, tragic past and doesn't do normal relationships. He only has quick flings with submissives who know the score - he can't offer anything more than sex. But he can't deny the strong connection between him and his employee and things start to heat up between this sexy pair.
Dominic is a fascinating character who had me intrigued right from the start. When we begin to learn about his past it becomes clear why he is as controlling as he is, and my heart really broke for him. Aleena seems to be the perfect match for him, but their journey is not an easy one as there are lots of speed bumps in their path. As well as the romantic storyline, I really enjoyed the sub-plot about Dominic's adoption as it added an extra element to the story. Serving Him is a great series that I'd definitely recommend. All six books were impossible to put down so they all receive five stars.
I received copies of these books in exchange for a honest review.
Oh my god, this series keeps getting better and better and better...could not put book four down, it was that good, I flipped page after page till I shouted out NOOOOOO, what do you mean I have to wait for june 12 for book five.
The story in this book is very, and I mean very well written and well developed and the plot is so fast paced that before you know it you will be at the end of the book and left wanting more and more and more, oh wait did I mention I want more of Aleena and Dominic (let me remind that he is mine all mine and I don't share very well). The characters in this book, oh boy, what can I say about them that I have not already said about them, Dominic and Aleena together are so amazing, and if Dominic does not smarten up he is going to lose Aleena. Penelope also makes a few unwanted appearances in this book and I am still left wanting to slap the ever loving cr@## out of her, she is the biggest sh#$#@ disturber that I have seen in a while and she needs to go like yesterday.
In this book we see Aleena and Dominic drift further and further apart, Aleena is ready for a real relationship with Dominic and Dominic is just not ready to admit he wants a relationship nor does he know how to have a "real relationship". In this book we will also see Penelope do as much as she can to try and win over Dominic's affections, but we see that is heart is slowing belonging to one women. In this book we also see Penelope stick her nose in where it does not belong with Aleena. In this book we are also shown more into Dominic's past that will leave your heart hurting for him. Will Aleena and Dominic ever have the relationship that she desperately wants???
I don't think anyone will ever get enough of Dominic and Aleena, this is one whirlwind of a ride and cannot, I mean cannot wait for book five, but I will wait not so patiently for June 12th to arrive when I can be served more of Dominic.
Holy Hotness M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild are driving me crazy with this series! I absolutely have loved every volume I swear each one gets better and better and they have kept me on the edge of my seat!
Aleena finds herself questioning absolutely everything in this installment. Am I good enough? Why doesn't he want to be seen in public with me? Is he ashamed of me? Is it because he feels like I am beneath is social class? Quite honestly we have the awful Penelope to thank for most of this she likes to put these little ideas in our Aleena's head and because of her past and well her innocence she doesn't always see Penelope or Dominic for exactly what they are. Penelope for the conniving liar she is and Dominic for the lost and tragically scared man that seems to have found his solace in her and she is honestly too blind to see it.
We learn so much more about Dominic in this installment than we have in any of the previous ones and let me just say it is incredibly dark and tragic and it is completely understandable as to why he has behaved in the manner he has over the years to cope with the tragedy and memories he had to deal with. Congratulations to both M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild for being able to write such an impeccable story line with deep rooted issues for the character's and still be able to create such an intense connection between them so that they can heal and move past the tragedies that had befallen them in their life time.
This series is truly amazing if you haven't read it yet add it to your TBR list today because you don't want to miss Aleena and Dominic's story it is simply amazing!
This is the 4th volume in the Serving Him Series and should be read in order.
Aleena was losing control of herself. The new experiences Dominic has shown her and trying to fit into his world were slowly becoming more than she knew was possible. No matter what she found herself wanting more when it came to Dominic but is Dominic ready to be everything Aleena needs?
I was given this in exchange for an honest review. The collaboration between M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild just keeps getting better with every volume they put out. Aleena shows that she has trust in Dominic but when it comes to Penelope, her insecurities show through and the trust level drops. This is what Aleena is trying to work on but at every turn Penelope is there to show her where she fits in their world. Dominic knows what he wants and that is Aleena, not only her submission in the bedroom but her vibrancy for life. She is the light to him in his dark world. Keeping her trust is another issue that he has to deal with since Penelope and his mother both make it hard for Aleena to believe in him. I love how M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild have both Aleena and Dominic’s point of view throughout the book. Knowing what both of them think pulled me in especially when we finally got to find out what Dominic went through as a teenager. This is a great series and I’m counting down the days until the next volume comes out.
WOW This series is FANTASTIC!!!! Totally rocks!! It’s hot but sweet. It’s got strong characters but they are also fiercely independent. It’s got so much heart but its also very erotic. Did I say it’s hot? Cause it’s HOT!!!
During this series you will follow Aleena Davison through her early adulthood. She will find herself, learn about herself and become truly comfortable in her own skin. You see, Aleena is half black and half white. What she doesn’t see is that she has a value and a strength that will be tested and never broken. She also doesn’t see the sexual fire she has. She’s never had too. She’s only had one lover and that was a terrible experience.
Dominic has major issues, probably more than Aleena and definitely deeper. He doesn’t do relationships, he is a certified workaholic and has serious issues with the way he was brought up. He’s rich, always has been, and because of his “social status” he has a lot of pressure to meet certain expectations. These are not expectations that Aleena can fulfill because she doesn’t have the cold heart it takes to live in his world.
Can Aleena be enough for Dom? Can Dom finally give his whole self to her? Will Aleena be able to stand up for herself and become the woman she was always meant to be?
OMG! Go 1click all these books RIGHT NOW!!!! Amazing!!! M.S. Parker is amazing and I’ve read most of her books so I can tell you….she genius!!! But this might be one of my favorites. I was seriously sad when it ended!!!
OK OK Penelope needs to get a life , man she is annoying and working real hard to knock my girl Aleena down. Once again Dominic needs to get a clue , but Aleena needs to help him. Again she keeps her feelings hidden , she runs or shuts down. She is worse than Dominic in that because she has seen how relationships work and knows what she wants and needs. Man I just want her to be honest with him. I know he is this controlling guy but he already said he has no clue what to do. SHOW HIM , TELL HIM , TEACH HIM. Aleena is so open to be taught his ways of life , she really needs to clue him in on how she wants to live too.
During this part Aleena is struggling with the feeling of being Dominic's dirty little secret. Penelope is doing a bang up job of making Aleena think she knows more about Dominic than anyone. Thankfully after more than a few issues Dominic realizes he needs to open up and share his secrets with Aleena. As heartbreaking as they are is this enough to save what they have or will Aleena still walk away ?? The chemistry has never been an issue with these 2. It is there and we enjoy the fruits of their labor over and over again !! Aleena is so open to learning what Dominic loves but she is looking for a deeper connection. Dominic is also starting to realize how much he needs and wants that too. If they could both just fess up and move on we would have a great love story !!
This is the 4th volume in the Serving Him Series and should be read in order.

Dominic decided that it was time to have the interior designer redo the condo, after Annette leaves she feels as if Dominic should be with someone like her. It's really nice to see that Aleena has a backbone when it comes to Penelope. You also get a look into Dominic's story. Aleena begins to get upset when every time that she asked Dominic to go out he never wanted to, so she thought that he was ashamed of her. Aleena really doesn't like people who put race into play, she helps keep Dominic organized. Dominic has a very strained relationship with his mother. He is looking to branch out his match making business to Philadelphia. Masque Philadelphia was his first and most profitable business. Annette is the Interior Designer and told Aleena that Dominic helped her out after her husband drained the bank accounts. Francisco is Dominic's and Aleena's personal Chef. Wants to teach Aleena how to cook. Jacqueline is Dominic's mother, doesn't like Aleena or anyone in a social class lower than her. Has been trying to push Penelope and Dominic together. Penelope is very rude. She also likes to cause trouble. This series just keeps on getting better. This book has so much emotion. This book picks up right were volume three leaves off. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
FYI, I'm giving my review of the six novella's as a whole and not each individual one....
Let me start of with WOW! What a fantastic read! I literally couldn't put the books down and totally adored Aleena and Dominic. They're chemistry was on fire and their connection is just adorable.
There were some serious moments that you felt so connected with Aleena and the position she finds herself in. Down on your luck girl gets dream job with hottie boss...that happens to everyone, right?! In our fantasy for sure!
Dominic is an amazing character. Not nearly as "alpha" as I would actually imagine someone in his position...but he puts off enough of the alpha vibe that it works. His background is thoroughly captivating and I really wish there was more to it. I felt like it was just more brushed over here and there instead of really dedicating more to it. But what was there, was really great!
These two overcome some serious obstacles in the forms of family, friends, and the past. Nothing is easy for them but they work so well together and make you always feel like there's hope for people that grow up so differently between race, money, status, etc...and fall so head over heals for one another.
I love the way these two authors write a captivating story, I was able to read this in one evening. As their relationship builds, Aleena is feeling like Dominic only wants her for sex, and Dominic is realizing he has more feeling for her. They are both scared by the need that they feel for each other.
My favorite quotes: “There were a few things I’d decided over the past ten days. Ten days since I’d held her against me, had her under me, felt her body vibrate as she moaned and came around me. I could count each one of them, could probably detail every last second of them, because too many seconds ticked away without her in my arms.”
“I swept one arm out, knocking dishes and glasses aside. Dishes went flying. Wine splattered and then I put her down, spread her out just the way I’d imagined. A drop of ruby red wine clung to her check, another on her lip, several on her neck and chest."
The characters needs and desires are in the forefront in this 4th story "Serving Him". Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book with the other characters, Penelope, Molly and the interior decorator Annette.
This book was gifted by the author for an honest review.
This One Will Break Tour Heart OMG Where do I start? This book was such an emotional one! After the cliffhanger at the end of the last book, I didn't think there could be a more frustrating ending. I was wrong. I still have a lump in my throat and my eyes sting from the ending of this book. I knew that something horrific had happened in Dominic's past, but when the truth was revealed, it shredded me and my heart bled for Dominic. Throughout this whole book I was back and forth being frustrated with and pissed of at different characters. I wanted to grab Dominic and shake him and tell him to wake up! I wanted to grab Aleena and shake her and tell her speak up! There times when I wanted to hug them each, and then there was Penelope. I wanted to punch her in her perfectly groomed, snooty, rich b-word face! Ugggh! HATE her! I couldn't put this book down, just like all of it's predecessors, this book sucked me in with the first page and kept me turning pages until I hit back cover. I am still floored, stunned and I have to go and read book 5 NOW! Thank God it just came out! I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I was pulled right into this story. This is a 6 part story so be prepared to get all 6 parts. The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, naughty fun, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Serving HIM Vol. 1 (Serving HIM, #1) Serving HIM Vol. 2 (Serving HIM, #2) Serving HIM Vol. 3 (Serving HIM, #3)
This is the fourth part of Aleena and Dominic’s story. Aleena wonders if she is Dominic’s secret. Always wanting to eat in and never go out. Does he always treat his woman like this? Aleena is hurt and confused. Can she live this kind of life? Can she be a secret for him? Is it all just about the sex? Is he just using her? Is this how it will always be? Will one party change everything? Will the one person Dominic just can’t shake ruin everything? Can comments from another woman be the one thing that tears down all your hopes and dreams? Will she finally learn Dominic’s secrets?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this 6 part series.
A hot new series is on the block! M.S. Parker and her faithful co-writer Cassie Wild are at it once again teasing our senses with a new series that is sure to be panty melting. Each book in this series gets better and better until the ultimate conclusion blows us out of the water.
This is one of those series where the books pull you in and devour you whole by the end. This series is hot, sexy, steamy, passionate, edgy, intense and crazy addicting. Once you start the first book, I promise that you won't be able to put it down until you have read all six.
This is the fourth part of Aleena and Dominic’s story. Aleena and Dominic seem to take a couple of steps forward then a ton back. Dominic is still very secretive and Aleena wants more... she deserves more. The passion is as intense as ever but something is getting in the way. Is it all worth it? Get ready for a sexy and sinful ride with these two that is sure to be thrilling and passionate.
M.S. Parker & Cassie Wild i must say i am truely amazed at how well servinh him has been. We all know M.S. Parker is a writing deva but this is the first series i have read with Vassie Wild. Amazingly written and it compels the sexual attraction between Dominic and Aleena. As Dominic struggles about his feelings for Aleena, he wants her and needs her, but he feels out of control with his past and doesnt know how to love or even if he deserves it. . He knows something wrong, but he can't give her what she wants, so instead of talking to her he hides behind his work and lifestyle. Aleena, wants MORE, but scared to approach Dominic about her needs. When Aleena hints around about going out and spending time as a couple, but when Dominic suggest ordering in, she shuts down and goes about her job duties. Aleena has many emotional problems about socialites and her mixed race and she forever struggles with this out there every time something becomes a miss with Dominic. Will it be to late for Dominic and Aleena to save themselves from the fallout of not communicating.
Amazingly well written story. Couldnt stop reading it. Dominic reminds me of myself. How much he struggles with committment and a relationship. How much he needs Aleena. How he constantly fights his need for her. And his past pain and how he struggles to come to terms with what happened to him. Aleena gets angry and puts up this wall. She gets sucked into this rich life of gosip and believes whatever Penelope tells her no matter if it is true or not. In this story Aleena finialy loses her cool and just lets everything she is angry about loose on Dominic. He is shocked and it hurts what she thinks of their relationship. So to try and save it and keep her from leaving he tells her about his nightmares. I am unsure how this story will end in the fifth installment.I want them to run away and live happily ever after on a deserted island. But I know that is so not how it will end haha. 5 stars
As Dominic struggles about his feelings for Aleena, he wants her and needs her, but he feels out of control with her and his life is all about control. He knows something wrong, but he can't give her what she wants, so instead of talking to her he hides behind his work and lifestyle. Aleena, wants MORE, but scared to approach Dominic about her needs. Aleena hints around about going out and spending time as a couple, but when Dominic suggest ordering in, she shuts down and goes about her job duties. Aleena has many emotional problems about socialites and race and she forever throughs this out there every time something becomes a miss with Dominic. By the time they vomit some of their emotions all over each other, it may be to late to save themselves from the fallout.
Serving Him Vol 4 - MS Parker & Cassie Wild 4 Stars
This is the 4th part in a 5 part series and they must be read in order.
Aleena is having serious doubts about their relationship, neither of them have had a relationship before and the cracks are starting to show, can Aleena and Dominic work things out when their worlds are so different ?
I'm not sure why but I didn't find this book as strong as the others in the series. I still love the story and the characters, but found this one a little hard going, having said that it did pick up nicely towards the end. Aleena is seriously struggling, not only with her relationship with Dominic but with the people in his world too, everything seems to be against her. I am so looking forward to reading the final installment to this amazing series.
M.S. Parker and Cassie Wild have done a great job on this series and was left wanting more. With both having feelings for each other but not wanting to admit it to each other, I swear I wanna knock their heads together. And with Penelope butting her nose in every chance she gets. But with Aleena worried he is just using her and not willing to go on a date she thinks he is ashamed to been seen in public with her other than when they are working. And after a revelation from Penelope to Aleena about Dominic and how he is just using her everything she has thought is true and there is no way it will be anything more.
Have to say I never saw that confession coming I knew Dominic had a past but hell didn't think of that. Can't wait for book 5
I am really enjoying the Serving Him Series by these 2 authors M. S. Parker & Cassie Wild. Serving Him is a Novella that has been releasing a book a week and this is Vol 4.
Let me just say I do not like Penelope but, then I don't think the authors wanted me to. I love Aleena she is a very sweet person with an edge. She can get fiesty! Dominic is a very rich but, I think tormented man for all that has happened to him when he was a young man. He says he doesn't do relationships but, I think this one he won't be able to get out of in the long run. Well that is enough because I don't do spoilers. ;)
If you decide to read this series and I highly recommend that you do. You do need to read them in order. I have already started Vol 5 and I do want my HEA M. S. Parker and Cassie Wild!
