Another Time

Rate this book
Ellie was annoyed with Jim which wasn’t so unusual nowadays, but this time it was serious, this time they were talking about separating and Jim moving out. And then Marlon showed up.
Despite the rather inappropriate surroundings, the first time Ellie met Marlon she knew instantly that she could trust his motives were altruistic, well almost instantly; it was only by pure chance that they happened to be in the women’s toilets at the time.
‘I certainly hadn’t been expecting him, how could you ever expect to meet someone like Marlon especially in a ladies loo of all places? But he changed my life, I mean he quite literally changed the course of my life. I’m still not exactly sure who he was and yet there he was waiting for me. My husband Jim and I were having a meal out and I had gone to the toilet . . . no I should probably start at the beginning maybe not at the very beginning that would take far too long, but the beginning of that evening at least.’
