I was born and raised in Louisiana… and No, I do NOT live in a bayou, I actually see the beaches on the gulf coast more than I see a bayou. I started writing poems and short stories very early in my life. I've been a book hoarder since I was eleven years old, but then a couple years ago something wonderful happened! My inner smut whore came to life and I commenced to read anything and everything smut affiliated. When reading wasn't enough anymore and I noticed that so many of the authors of my favorite genres were indie authors and their books weren't getting the exposure their work deserved, I turned it into a mission, starting my own blog, buying their books and reading them one by one. I then wrote my reviews for my blog and didn't hold back in writing them (Hell yeah those motherfuckers a profanity laden). I've never done a single thing in my life half-ass. I always go all in. After the success of my Blog, I was ready to finally take the plunge and see if I could write a book that was worth a damn. I'm a Southern girl to my core, a self-proclaimed smut whore, and I can't believe I now have over ten books on Amazon, much less that I did it: I’m an author, but honestly… I don’t believe the rumors, lol. I don’t feel like a kickass bitch spittin’ out lyrics, or stories, like a motherfuckin’ rockstar.
Tattooed across my ribs are the words I have always lived by: 'Aut viam inveniam aut faciam tibi.' Latin for: If I cannot find a way, I will make my own.

Mindfu*k was not for me.
It started well with a very bewitching jerk. Aren't they all, enthralling ? Gotta love them ;-)
The story is about Liam and Lexy (baby girl)
, a couple who has been together for 9 years.
They seem crazy in love. To be honest, he was kind obsessed with her. Suddenly, Liam decided that he hated his baby girl.
It reminded me of my son who used to LOVE mushrooms and then one day, he sat a the table, looked at his plate and declared: Mum, I hate mushrooms. The difference? my son was 6 years old and I'll give him some slack ;-)
The plot was all over the place. It was also confusing at times and I had to come back and reread sentences again trying to make sense of where I was standing in the story.
Soon, the attractive jerk became a seriously out of control psycho and by 32% a surprise: a new Hero lands at the scene.
As if all this was not enough, I then had to put up with instalove by the new Hero.
Mindfu*k was definitely not for me.

Okay I really don't know where to begin with this review but I will be as constructive as possible.
I won't lie this is the first time with this author I have really really struggled with one of her books as her other books were all fantastically great. This one however didn't do it for me. The plot line itself was intriguing but I felt that it wasn't executed properly. The character building wasn't really there so connecting with them was difficult. I had issues with some of the timelines as they were very confusing in places. I felt that it jumped around a lot and in some instances the writing seemed to go from past to present in the space of a couple of sentences. There are 3 main characters in this book. Lexy,Liam and Rhett, I struggled sometimes at the beginning of some chapters to determine if it was Rhett or Liam speaking and it just confused me more. Overall I feel the writing was a little rushed and very confused in places but maybe this was the authors intentions considering the name of the book?, sadly it just didn't work for me but I am sure others will disagree. The story line was okay though and I wish the author the best of luck.

Lexy and Liam have been together for many years. Life was perfect for them. Liam changes from bad to evil. There is so much love, lust, passion, hate, and betrayal. If this is the type of book you're looking for, sit down relax and get ready to get your mind effed up!!!!!

I don't even know what to say. I'm to tore up to even write a review. I stayed up until 3am reading this book. It's a fabulous book but it is true to its name and totally fucks your mind up.
Liam Dean is a spoiled bastard, I hate him and I'm glad he got what he got, too bad it couldn't happen sooner. I hope his little driver got the same treatment. **stomps foot and walks away*

Kimber Dawn is one of my favorite dark erotica authors so I was extremely disappointed to by this book which does not in any way illustrate her abilities. This book is extremely convoluted, not flowing as well as it could have and far from dark. I kept hoping that what I was reading was a slow build up, waiting for something exciting to happen yet something never happened. Very, very disappointing...

So this is what happens when your mind gets so wrapped up in superficial objects and commodities, when prestigious social functions and money hungry business people with only time on their hands to party away life with booze, sex and drugs, eventually it completely decimates your intellect.
The Author takes us in much different direction as per her usual flair of writing style. Instead of a sociopath bent on destruction, you catch raw emotion in this unusual tale of young love and fading romance. Just when you think you have it all, you find things can easily crumble right before your eyes as each wrong step takes you further from your sense of victory and into the depths of purgatory.
You start to clearly see Liam as his mind increasingly disintegrates and raw emotion emerges as a lustful and vengeful jealous bully. Summer was the best spoiled little rich b*tch I've ever read, so flaky, supercilious, haughty, arrogant and most of all conceited! I wanted more of a connection with poor little Lexy Dean, I felt for her as her depression steadily worsens, as her love is lost, time wasted and a little bundle of joy never takes root. And Rhett, what a total surprise, such a romantic! The little things Kimber penned about him as he romanced Lexy had me longing for my old high school crush.
Thank you Kimber S. Dawn, it truly was a MindFu*K!

Just not for me.
When I knew this book was coming out, I was so excited. Kimber is AMAZING!
When it was released, I actually dropped what I was doing to read it.
I was left NOT mindfucked. At all.
I felt no connection to the story or the characters.
I felt it needed more depth all around.
I am disappointed I felt this way but I don't really want to say much more. It took me days to figure out what to write in this review and I just can't get anymore out besides, it just was not for me.
Read this book. Because, Kimber is great. Because, you may feel differently than me. Because maybe once you read it you can change my mind like I so badly want it to be changed. Tell me what I am missing!

Holy Mindfu*k!! What the...#%$*@....Mindfu*k is a book that will do just that...Mindfu*k you!!
Kimber takes this book to a level of complete and total twistedness that you just can't compare to. She starts you off feeling one thing, then turns it around so your distraught, then flips the script again and feeling dread and anger....but also a glimmer of hope and romance. But through it all is one hell of a story!!
I mean you can't help but fall in love with, faithful-to-a-fault, Lexy. She is sweet, loving, compassionate, and completely and totally loyal and understanding of her husbands need for control and her submission to him. (lemme clarify - this is NOT a bdsm story!) And you can't help but tear up and physically ache with her as you watch her life unfold throughout the pages.
And Liam Dean, what can I say other than DOMINATE MALE! Okay, I can say sexy, powerful, stubborn, determined, possessive, cruel, loving, twisted, and one hell of a game player. The powerful stock-broker who wants the world the way HE wants it. And he isn't what you think he is when you start this story. He quickly shows his colors and they are dark! He will leave you quivering, in both fear and ecstasy, as well as cause you to feel revulsion at the mere thought of having to watch him go through the motions.
Of course there are the Jackson siblings....holy $h*t!! Those two are crazy!! Like diabolical, stalker, seductress, power-hungry, insane, devious, back-stabbing, twisted, sinfully delicious, yet completely repulsive. The title does the book justice!! I personally love anything that Kimber S. Dawn writes. She has a fresh approach and she knows how to psychologically twist that mental knife.
Mindfu*k threw me up against a wall and while I prayed certain parts were going to change (I do know how Kimber's mind works).......I couldn't handle how deviously delicious in a warped sense this book turned out to be.
Definitely recommend this one.....especially if you're looking for Dark & Twisted.

If ever a book has lived up to it's title, it is this one !! A book that I couldn't tear my eyes away from and was messing with my brain all the way through right to the mind blowing end.
This is my first book I have read from Kimber S Dawn so I have nothing to compare it to her other works, but let me tell you if any of her other books are like this one, I'll be first in the queue !!!
Liam and Lexy - loves young dream. Madly in love with each other, they married and life couldn't get much better ??? WRONG !!!!! Liam turns from the romantic lover into the evil cruel sadistic man she chooses to live with. Ruled by power, money, lust, deceit and a whole lot of white powder to help him through each day he turns Lexy's life into a nightmare she feels she will never awaken from.
When Rhett enters her life through her husband's work, she experiences what life could be like, what it is like to feel human again - to feel like a woman and not scum. Can Rhett be Lexy's salvation, even with a past of his own, could he be good for her, her light - her only hope ?
You MUST read this book to find out. If you like your head to be messed with, to sit up half the night reading this wonderful book because you can't put it down. Do you want to feel like you could despise a character so much you want to jump into said book and tackle him down - then this is the book for you.

Wow. Where do I even begin? Few books have that crazy ability to leave your mind spinning with emotions. Kudos to you Kimber for writing a book that not only made me feel, but stayed with me for days. This book got under my skin and attacked my thoughts. I couldn't put it down. I read it from beginning to end, only taking several necessary breaks to breathe, scream, and down some wine in between.
The emotions this book will make you feel are raw, powerful, and real. I loved this book. Every effing sentence of it.
Kimber took a love straight from a pop song and exploded it into a million devastating, cryptic, beautiful, and mind fucking pieces.
Mind Fu*k will take you on a journey from love to madness. This book is an intoxicating blend of "happily ever after," and "curiosity killed the cat." It explores how love can become toxic when mixed with greed, drugs, jealously, sex, and power.
Liam. Effing Liam. I just wanted to stab the guy in the chest and watch him bleed. He infuriated me, but I loved how he actually made me feel (even if it was anger most of the time). Most characters don't have that power. His love and infatuation with Lexy turned into pure insanity on his journey to the top.
I loved Lexy. She was real and honest and good. I also loved Rhett.
This book is a must read. I can't get it out of my mind. It was brilliant, dark, and an effing Mind Fu*k.

What the hell did I just read? That’s the question that filters your brain when you finish this incredible Mindfu*k.
What happens once you give into the Power, Drugs, Control ? You end up with Betrayal, Hate and a self absorbing passion for lust
Lexy and Liam have grown together and made a life for themselves all while Liam is striving to become a powerful force as a stokebroker. Together Lexy and Liam have loved one another through the years together until all of Liam’s hard work changes him, and he becomes a different man that Lexy doesn’t recognize anymore. It’s at this point in the story when you’ll find yourself engrossed in a truly fu*ked up journey with many twists and torturous moments, that are so intense you will find that your gripping your kindle and sitting on the edge of your seat anxiously awaiting to find out what twisted messed up sh*t is about to happen next. There is absolutely no was to predict just what will happen next. Great storyline.
If you are looking for something dark and twisted then one click Mindfu*k it’s worth reading!

WOW!!!! WOW!!!!! I just finished reading this book it will blow your mind. Once you start this book you will not be able to put it down.... I had so many feelings while reading this book my head still thinking about it. my eyes are sore.... I was screaming and shouting at my kindle, I really Liked Liam to begin with I thought Him and Lexy had the perfect Marriage oh boy was I so wrong he changes and becomes such an evil and Cruel man. Things start to change when they move to NY am not 100% sure why he changed maybe from Greed, Power, or the Drugs who really knows, but this book will mess with your head....... my heart broke for Lexy...... I wanted to crawl inside the book and punch and wrapped my hands round Liam’s Neck and Lexy I just wanted to give her a Hug. Then just as you think Things are looking up for Lexy BAM and Twist.... This book is a total Mind*ck just what the name says.
So if you Like books that mess with your head and make you really Hate a Character then this is the book for you.

I don't generally write reviews, books rarely leave me with anything to say...
Once again, Kimber Dawn leaves me reeling. I'm not even sure how to complete my thoughts without spoilers, so I'll stay away from recaps. I will say, my favorite thing about reading an Indie writer is watching their writing progress. This story flowed better than the her previous novels. There were still points where you could tell she'd gotten lost in the story in her mind, but rather than take away from the story, it adds to the excitement of it all. Like any good novel, I found myself dreading the last 30 pages. I had one of those panic moments, because you know its not going to end the way you think its going to end, but then you remember you're reading a frickin Kimber Dawn novel, of course its not going to end how you thought it would! Overall, the 4 is only due to the occasional lost in thought moment, but the story itself is another book-hangover-inducing, I-didnt-see-that-coming, stupefying, brilliant story from Kimber Dawn.

Contrary to others I found this book to be far more straight forwards to follow than some others Kimber has written, but true to form the lady takes us on a convoluted trip through the minds of the characters that is a strongpoint In all of her writing. Its no easy task to mix twisted psyche's with terror and a big dab of sex, but she does this in a way that I've seen few other writers do.
Her writing is to the point, yet still carries that edge of mystery that keeps you turning the pages.
Others have hinted at the storyline so I wont, but believe me, you are missing so9mething special in literature if you've never read one of this amazing writers books.

I'm 30% into this book and the lack.of good editing is killing me. I would have thought an author who has so many novels would have been more careful.
I have now finished this book and I did like this book. But the editing or lack thereof ruined it for me. Also "jetlag " for a one hour time difference? ? And diabetic ketoacidosis is from High blood sugar not from too much insulin. That is what kicked it for me. The story was meh, nothing exciting or mind fucking.

I literally just finished reading the last page and I have to agree with the title of this story! It truly will leave you Mind Fucked. I seriously don't know what I just read! The events that took place were crazy! In fact, Liam was crazy! I knew after reading the first few pages that I was in for a wild ride and that's exactly what I got. If you're looking for something that will keep you on your toes, I wouldn't hesitate to one click this!

I don't even know what to say. I'm to tore up to even write a review. I stayed up until 3am reading this book. It's a fabulous book but it is true to its name and totally fucks your mind up.
Liam Dean is a spoiled bastard, I hate him and I'm glad he got what he got, too bad it couldn't happen sooner. I hope his little driver got the same treatment. **stomps foot and walks away**

very unsatisfying read ....the author obviously threw in the towel and wrote one of the worst ending I've read in ages....seriously !!

Before I read this book, I skimmed over a few reviews and almost didn’t read because of the bad reviews. I have no idea why there were so many, I loved this book! Yes there were grammatical/typing errors, yes Liam was a psycho, yes there was some confusion and yes I was hoping for a different ending as well. But, I still enjoyed the book! I hope readers will give it a chance even with all the negative reviews because in spite of it all, it was still a good book!

Why one star you say well I gave mind fuck a go becose I do love books that make me squeamish make me fell truly mind fucked but this read didint do that to me I now some books take time for you to enjoy them not all books have buy the first page so I read this book in one sitting yesterday I kept going I found some of the book to be interesting I have a thing for assholes what can I say any ways back to mind fuck this book has 3 main characters It starts off with two Lexi and Liam
Lexi mother is always married to some guy with money ass long as his pockets are full of the green. So she's moved around a lot where ever her mother finds a new relationship that's where she's dragged along to so her mom husband loved Lexi and payed her 4 years of high school and on her first day she meets Liam and he's the hottest guy she's ever seen they start a relashionship soon after anything Liam wants anything he says she followes his every word to the T She's very much I love with him she thinks with Liam she has it all the perfect life
Liam. Liam is a manipulative ass hole with ways to find information on his friends girlfriends and extortion them for sex he says then they can't say he's raped them or some of his so cald friends girls are willing to be with him till there not anymore his brand of sex is hard he likes to see you cry in pain it turns him on the more the harder he gets that's been his life for four years football sex school he felt like he couldn't anymore he was so tiered of this life then one day his in the football feld and he spots Lexi her books are on the ground he rounds too her befor any one could help her that seld the deal with her he says she's his and for her four years in high school she is he says he's never cheated on her why should he she lets him have her the way he likes hard always fucking the get married try and have kids fast on Liam's part Lexi wants to go to college and wait till she has a career but what Liam wants he gets they've tried for there hole marriage to have children but it didint work out till it did but at this time Liam has already changed in more ways then one
Rhett has an agenda payback he's in jail for 7 years for something he didint to he was used bye his best friends family they used him and still from him then he was a good kid worked hared tried to finish up his time in college with good grades had this deviled ex girlfriend who's just a man eater her pussy is a web and once caught she pretty much can suck you dry any ways you'll see what I mean if you decide to read this book
