This book has been a labour of love. It is a five-hundred-page plus, compilation of erotic stories, incorporating scenarios including sensual romance, exhibition and voyeurism, sex party orgy, sex in the office, sex on holiday, spanking and punishment and hardcore humiliation and domination. The subject matter and the level of erotic content is stepped up in each successive story to enhance the reading experience. The reader can therefore, select a story to suit the mood, to push personal boundaries or concentrate on a particular theme or interest.
For many, ‘Erotic Encounters’ will take them out of their comfort zone. For others, it will be a step too far. The twelve summaries which follow give a flavour of what readers will find when they slip between the covers.

Educating Peter

I received a copy of this book from BookLover CatLady in return for an honest review.
I thought I’d branch from my usual comfort zone and try something new.
But sadly this book made me feel very uncomfortable pretty much from start to finish. I’ll admit I am a bit of a prude when it comes to the topic of erotic stories.
But for me there’s too much emphasis on underage. Like the boy who’s described as being no more than thirteen or fourteen taking part in an erotic stage show. Along with the stories of the very young teenagers on their “adventures” in their school years, which yes I can understand happens but do I want to read about it? Not at all especially in a novel that’s meant to be erotically enjoyed by adults.
Inter family relationships also aren’t something I enjoy reading about. Again yes I know it happens but would I class it as an erotic thing for the larger majority? Not at all.
The actual stories where everyone was a legal adult then I tried to judge on the writing style, they are well written stories, I can see how people would enjoy them. I did like how there was always a bit of a backstory and not just thrown right in there.
I think this will be a bit of a marmite book; you either love it or hate it.
Even though I didn’t like it I guess I’d encourage people to try it. It’s not a bad book it’s just very dependent on personal taste to each individual.

I am not what you would call a regular reader of erotic fiction. I have read some before though and I liked the sound of the stories starting off quite mild in their content and so being able to pick what you feel like, on the day. Or start at the beginning and stop if and when the content of a particular story is pushing your boundaries too far.
I have mixed feelings about this book. The very first page is quite confronting - so much for a mild introduction! However, there are some good stories which are I am sure would be of interest to an adult (or a couple) to read to put a bit of a zing in your day/night.
I struggled with the length of some of the stories, some of them were over-long, in my opinion. A bit more attention to editing would have been beneficial as well, homonym errors were a little jarring. Some of the terms used made me cringe a little as well, but in the scheme of things, I should have expected them in this genre.
All in all, it was worth reading for something a little different.

This is a good collection of stories, some more appealing than others and some more erotic than others but overall a good collection.
I have read some of these previously in a shorter collection however this longer anthology was a more thoughtful mix with the intensity of the sensuality and erotica building with each story.
Each story stands alone but they do make a good collection. Some of these had unexpected turns and some were more straightforward, some were sweet, some sensual and some hot.
There were some very well written and engaging passages and overall the writing was better than ok although there were phrases and words that grated on me but they are not unusual in this genre. Overall I recommend this collection.
