A poignant Tudor Time Slip for fans of Barbara Erskine

London 2015.
When Tudor tour guide Kate attends a service at the local spiritualist church, she is surprised to receive a message from a mysterious woman called Anne who tells her to 'have some dignity.' She brushes it off as the rambling of a fraudulent psychic but when she discovers that her boyfriend Harry is having an affair with a dark haired beauty called Annabelle, she realises that London's tragic history is replaying itself in front of her eyes.
As Harry's dormant blood lust comes back to the surface, Kate finds herself in terrible danger.

In the 16th Century meanwhile, Anne Boleyn is haunted by her rivalry with Katherine of Aragon. As the two women battle for supremacy, inescapable fate draws Anne towards her tragic end.

The story alternates between modern and Tudor times. All the main players in the Anne Boleyn saga are reincarnated with Kate being in an relation with Harry once again and he is stepping out with Annabelle who is the reincarnated Anne. Of course, Anne's ghost is still around and tries to warn Kate who was Katherine of Aragon. Kate heeds the warning but only manages to escape Harry's bloodlust as it rises again. Brad comes at the end to stop Harry from killing another of his women. If you hadn't guessed who Harry was, read the story. It is quite good. You will be surprised on who Brad was in a previous life.

The potential this story held was incredible, I actually read about four or five of this authors work within a 48 hour period. Each story held potential to be a thrilling Tudor tale but coming in under 50 pages each they all lacked, character and plot development which is a shame. They are however nice little reds if you're a fan of the tudors especially Anne Boleyn or if you want to dip your toe into the Tudor Dynasty.
