Wattpad book about a Toronto journalist forced by her job to computer date who "meets" online an RAF member assigned in Afghanistan and their relationship.
Disappointing. It contained a proliferation of typos augmented by serious inability to spell certain words that aren't that hard to find -- like Massachusetts and honey. Sheesh. The book needs a massive rewrite. It violated that writing precept that one should show rather than tell. Time was wasted with painstaking irrelevant conversational detail while at the same time omitting what should have been the crux. The author couldn't do a sex scene or even show how the relationship was able to coalesce into love. [I mean, really, you couldn't show the wedding or excitement in making the relationship permanent -- you just announce it by having death announcement sent from husband to wife? Sheesh.] The author missed almost every boat there was.
