Eve Collins has set in motion a chain of events that could destroy everything she's ever loved. Eve must sacrifice her own happiness in order to tip the scale of balance. Which side will rise to power, and which will fall to fate? Everything comes with a sacrifice, even love.

Restoration:
When the skies darken and love in it’s truest form is tested, would you run? When death becomes silence and battle lines are drawn, would you fight? These books were wonderful. It had action, romance, and characters I had a hard time saying bye to. I’m glad that there are some spinoffs though and that I’ll be able to see them again :)

Awesome

This was a complete set from the first to the last in this series. It is also my first series by this author. Well, let me tell you, do not hesitate to read this author. She captured my interest from the first page. Love when that happens! This is one of those series where A) you are very glad you have all the books, cause....yeah that what just happened factor
B) you just can't say just one more chapter, it becomes 10 or more chapters, next thing you know, it 3:00am and you're like how'd it get so late???
C) it has everything you like in PNR, it has it. It also has some what the what ? moments in it. It has heartache, & heartbreak. Betrayal, hurt, redemption, sorrow, desire, humor, love, bitterness, joy, that's just skimming the surface.
So, don't delay, get this series.

I cannot believe I had this book sitting in my kindle for years and didn't read it sooner....I am literally kicking my a** because this book is pure gold. Such a gem of a book.

Writing is perfection. The world is amazing and truly fantastic. And the characters - omg! Simply wonderful.

Full of angels, gargoyles, protectors, mates, love, secrets, attraction, danger, powers, self-discovery and sacrifice.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romances.

Restraint

A spellbinding read!

A forbidden love will become deeper...

And only darkness will remain...

My word! This book was even better than the first - so captivating, addicting and spellbinding.

The author will have you mesmerised.

Jesus! That ending! Jesus! I'm so glad I have the box set because I did not want to stop reading. There is nothing I can say that will describe my ever growing move for this series. Nothing.

Revolution

Everything comes with a sacrifice, even love...

Must admit, never saw that betrayal coming from a mile away. Wow. Stunned and speechless. Bravo to the author!

Restoration

If your heart was full of love, could you give it up?

Would you fall to fate?

I held my breath throughout the reading of this entire novel because I did not know how things were going to play out and in the end, it was worth.

So flipping mesmerised by this story, the characters and this world. Simply brilliant. A masterpiece work.

Only read this review if you had enough of the book series and you only want to know the end but you do not want to waste more precious time from your life to read this crap...

SPOILER

After I read the first book (I got free from Amazon), I got curious because the characters were funny, the plot was acceptable, the happenings were fast paced, I felt like - Yes, we are getting the greater picture soon and there are gonna be interesting details... Well if you had the same feeling, you were absolutely mislead just like me.

The characters:
Eve is an 18-year old girl who just started the college. She feels this unbearable emotional pull towards his supernatural guy. This is all okay. But! No-one tell me that a virgin (after having been fingered twice) will suck the guy's ... and swallow the thing right away... Gross... really away from realistic unless the writer would like us to believe that Blood of Eden is actually going for a whore carrier among gargoyles.
The real issue with the two leading characters and the writer is that it seems like they are not aware of the fact that LUST DOES NOT EQUAL LOVE!!!!
For example: You are 18 you'd just got the info that you are the redeemer for human kind, your mom is kidnapped by demons of hell and what do you choose to do??? Well probably not: Oh yes this night is gonna be perfect for losing my virginity to this guy because he so so damn sexy and awesome.. For Christ's sake! What's wrong with people nowadays... -.-' Oh and really??? The girl stabs the loved one in the heart right after having her best sex experience of her life and walks away... And the guy goes after her saying: "No problem we are still together you just need to regain my trust..." Really????!!!! What a sick relationship picture is this????
This happens at about the third book, I really wanted to delete the whole thing from my Kindle but I could not write the review if I did not read it till the end so here you go.

If you want to throw the books away but you wonder what happens at the end. Read on...

The story itself could have been great, but it is simple and poor especially at the end.
While you are reading the book you have the false feeling that there is something more behind the actions. The whole story slows down from the books 2-4 and you just wait and wait and nothing happens.
The end of the story is: Archangel Michael and Libby fell in love, of course this was not allowed. Libby got pregnant and Heaven would have killed the child right away, so the only way to save her was that Michael lied to the Council that he only "created" the child so that she will be the great weapon when it comes again to the never ending war between Hell and Heaven.
In order to be able to pull through this lie in front of the heavenly Council, Michael arranged that the girl's bloodline was touched by Eve's and Asher's bloodline was touched by Lilith's. There is light and darkness in the couple so as long as they stick together the Hell cannot attack the gates of Heaven. (Makes no sense? Sure...)
The Council agrees to protect the child till her 18th birthday.
Hell wants to get rid of her existence only for showing off in front of Heaven -.-' She has literally NO significance in the war at all. The whole thing was a big freaking lie.
The gargoyles knew bits of this story from the beginning and they kept the girl in lies... Obviously if someone keeps telling you lies your natural reactions is to love them and never question their actions again, right??? So annoying... -.-' This book shows a real idiotic, sick relationship model that I hope no-one would follow.
Back to the story. The gargoyles have enough of waiting for the demons to attack they set up a gala where Asher is going to be crowned as King and Eve as Queen. Surprise: it turns out that Garrick (Asher's father and the real gargoyle King) did not die, but made a deal with Lucifer to live forever and the gargoyle race is not going to be in the war of Heaven and Hell ever again. On the gala the dark army arrives... the divine army as well. The divine army takes care of the dark one and on the stage Garrick and the bad guys are killed... Eve has a stab in the heart, but because she had so much sex with her gargoyle and got mated and everything... she does not die... because Asher's darkness saves her light... WTF!!! I have no more to say about this book series...

Could have been executed better. I actually finished the series though so I gave it an extra star

overall the series was okay. It's not the best I've read. Little character growth, I really didn't care for our heroine or even the hero. Asher is annoying and rude and just an a-hole. Their relationship was annoying, and Eve was immature and lackluster. I LOVED the secondary characters though. Especially Gage, he was about the only one who had depth. I loved Abby and Call an, because their relationship reminds me of my own. And the over use of the f bomb and the petnames made me want to strangle someone. Literally every single time you talk to someone, you don't have to use a petnames. Ugh. Between the siren, cutie, buttercup, cupcake, love, cutie, and pretty boy.... gag me with a spoon! To be honest I'm probably giving more stars than it deserves. And I wouldn't have finished it if it wasn't for the fact that I bought the box set. Sigh.
But picking aside, the idea was great, the world was well thought out, but the villains sucked and the action sucked and the characters for the most part sucked. This book won't be one I remember in a few months unfortunately.
What's more unfortunate is I bought the next box set as well, the royal protector academy. I am hoping and praying I like these characters more and that the author has grown as a writer and improved her storytelling skills. I tried really hard to get immersed in this one but I just couldn't get there. If you literally have nothing else to read, give it a go.

An intense roller coaster ride

I’ve never had such raw, intense emotion to a story. The set contains all five books of the series, which I was so grateful for. I would have gone insane if I had to wait for each book individually. Book one was typical, setting up the world and character backgrounds. It kept me interested. Book two had a bit more tension, drama, and got deeper into the backgrounds. By the end of Book three and again Book four, I just wasn’t sure how I could go on. It was heart breaking, sometimes infuriating but so damn good. There are sweet moments, great comedy moments (I freaking love Abby and Callan), there are every emotion possible throughout the story and it was so damn good even when it was difficult to accept what was being done to the characters.

It's Why we read.

This story is everything about why we read. It's emotional, entertaining, engaging and allows you to escape into you imagination. I read the first book Nd then bought this series in one. The first book was little all over the place but the potential for the story was clear , I had to know that the next . I think people might leave reviews talking about very specific details in writing style or grammar but that's not why I read. I simply read for an escape I love to read stories and be taken away to within the story and the series totally accomplish that for me . The characters were great the development was wonderful the dialogue was strong and the secondary characters were amazing . Well done!

From the very beginning the chemistry between Asher and EV was so beautiful. With every new chapter you learned something new about their relationship. This book had adventure, Magic, mystery, treachery, and most of all romance. I love the plot of the story. I love that they’re fighting against there forbidden love between these two main characters. It’s so beautiful to see them try to fight there story and to see how much they both care for each other. This book grabs your attention and doesn’t let you go until the very end. When I was reading this book it made me miss out on talking to friends, and doing my schoolwork because it was so magnetizing. So read this book because it’s great!

It was REALLY hard to put this book down! I fell in love with the characters right away! I...LOVE...CALLAN!!! Can I PUH-LEEZE have a Callan in my life! OMG! He's funny, loving, loves to cook, is so in love with his mate Abby. He's that little brother you want to give that side-eye to, but you also just want to hug him. Throughout this entire book, Callan has been my favorite. From the way he helps to protect Eve from the dark army, to the way he loves to wear aprons with the most clever (and downright funny) phrases. This entire series had me up late at night and rushing in the morning because it was so hard to put it down. I'll be following up with next book (Dark Paradise) to catch up on Gage and the sorceress. THAT should be interesting!

Best box set I've read

The amount of feels that I felt throughout reading this set was indescribable. Many times when I was reading this book I wanted to jump into the pages and help or just be along side them. I felt like I was apart of their family. I wanted to strangle Kenna many, many times. There were several times that I wanted to give Eve hugs and try one of Callan's cookies.

Randi has written a world that I want to escape to. This is a series that I can guarantee that I will be reading over and over!!

I read this series years ago and it has been my all time favourite ever since.

I am in love with Asher St Michael ❤️

I am a member of loads of different fantasy groups on social media and don't seem to see this series mentioned often which really surprises me.
I myself rate this higher than FBAA, Fourth Wing, ACOTAR - all of which I have loved but they have still not taken the top spot.

I have now made it my personal mission to promote this book everywhere 😆👌

So if you love fantasy/Romantasy and world building... I 100% recommend this series.

It's pretty funny too 💁🏼‍♀️

What I wish acotar fans would’ve found first. I loved this series. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as it did but it definitely sucks you in. Can be corny at times, like all fantasy romance, but I felt like this one had more depth than some of the others.

This series makes you wish you had your own gargoyle protector. Randi has a distinct ability to weave characters and plot together in a way that lives in your imagination but could take place in the house next door. Thank you, Randi, for allowing us to share this world you have created. Please hurry and write more!!
