That last 2 pages just about killed me. I wanted to throw the book & scream. My head & heart hurt a bit now. Ugh! I need to know what the heck is going to happen because that was not what I thought was going to happen. Review to follow for the blog tour.

4 Strong stars!

I've signed up for this blast and a book review, but I wasn't sure I'd even like this book or the series.

I know... I know... I probably shouldn't say that, but I wanna be honest
when I say that this book , this series more the surprised me, it blew my mind away! TOTALLY! UNEXPECTEDLY! ohhh.. and the ending.....!

See, I read Ya from time to time, but I'm usually more hesitant to start with a teen angst.

What I liked most in this book was Lil! How she is so much more mature!
I've read this series, all 3 books in a row, so I actually felt proud of her!

Of course this new book also brings more secrets, more enemies to love or to hate and a ton of action. There was A LOT of that. And I loved it!
The fight between God and Evil - super!

I don't wanna spoil anything for ya, so I just want to advise you.. or
better yet, I insist, that if you haven't bought this book yet, or if you haven't even read this series in a first place.. You, my dear friend must do that IMMEDIATELY!

I loved this book.

Well as most readers can tell I am a huge fan of Ednah Walters. Since I finished Betrayed a few months ago I have been waiting impatiently I might add for Hunted to come out. So I am so excited that I got to get an ARC of Hunted. Of course I loved the eye candy that is the cover of Hunted, as Bran is my favorite character. So I am even more happy with Hunted as I expected to be.

I love the new badass Lil. She has grown so much since we left her at the end of Betrayed a few months ago. Actually all of the characters have grown in their own ways. The plot of Hunted is fast paced and runs along very smoothly. In Hunted it was almost like I became a part of the story, like I was watching everything potray before my very eyes. I can not wait for the next book in this great series.

So if you want a great story with badass characters, I suggest you all go out and pre order your copy of Hunted which will be realesed on April 2nd.

I just thought this was supposed to be a trilogy, but I am not complaining as I can't wait to read some more ;))

This is a series that many people don't know about, but one that I've enjoyed enormously over the years.

I fell in love first with Awakened a few years ago and I can tell you that the book had me laughing more than not and staying up late to finish it. Then Betrayed came over with plenty of action and mysteries and made me fall more in love with the pack of characters. Now, they have all become a big happy family but something dark threatens to throw them appart.

I must confess that I had high expectations when I started reading this book and (as it happens always with the advanced copies I receive) I was afraid to pick it up because I wanted so badly to like it. Also, it's been a while since I read the other books and my memory didn't help me with remembering where the story ended. But that's OK because during this book some information is brought back to us, such that we don't feel lost into the story.

The beginning of the book didn't grab me like the other ones did. It's not that it's slow, but somehow it advanced up until some point and then it took a step back.. and I am still unsure of how important that detail was or if the story wouldn't have been the same without it. I thought it was supposed to bring some major drama into the play with our main characters Bran and Lil, but I was glad that it didn't - I liked to see them happily together ;)

fall-with-you

What I really-really liked was the connection between the characters. We get to find more about our young guardians and we see their friendship get stronger and stronger through their interactions. For a moment my heart skipped a beat thinking that Lil might get involved into a love triangle, but the author stayed away from it once more (YES!) - and I hope that she won't ever take that path as I wouldn't enjoy that at all. Still, there is a complicated situation regarding some secondary characters and I can't wait to see how that evolves in the next book. (I wasn't expecting it, in fact I had a completely different story on my mind, but hey, I love surprises!)

"Beautiful. Smart. Impossible. That is who you are."

We also found out more about the world, about how things work, what other rules there are (there are things that even the older guardians don't know how to handle). Also there are quite a few new characters - some you will love, for some you might want to buy an one-way ticket to Tartarus.

I don't want to spoil much, but things are getting complicated. I didn't enjoy that some 'past things' didn't stay in the past (I am cryptical but I have a reason for it) and there were some characters that make it so easy for me to hate them, but all these complications are getting us to the final point, which came as a bit of a shock. I really thought this book was supposed to be the last one, but it is obviously not and now (of course) I can't wait to see how we will get out of this whole mess.

While we are at it, I really-really wish for the kids not to do things behind the elder's backs. They all try to hide things from the others (young and old) and this is always getting them ALL into big troubles. After so many time you would think that they would learn to trust each-other, but it seems they are not. Also the kids are not quite punished for their disobedience and this is starting to rub me the wrong way.

Anyways, fans of this story will definitely enjoy it. It has mystery and action and love, and it will leave you wishing for more ;) The characters are really great and fun to be around and after all this time I feel like I know them all.

I have one more thing to say and I've probably said it on every review so far:
I really don't like these covers.
For the love of whatever you believe in, I really know that this is the reason why people are not compeled to read these books, and it makes me so very sad. Because the story is so great and so much better than many popular books out there and I wish someone would just design better covers to grab people's attention. I don't want to offend anyone, but I would really want to see some fresh covers (that would appeal to the young audience) for this series in the future.

Happy midnight reading!

Oh my gosh... what an ending! I can't say this enough... I hate waiting, I NEED the next book now!!

This book focuses more on Lil's growth. She finds that she is the Chosen One. The Kris Dagger and her become one and are more powerful. I feel like I can't say much more because I don't want to spoil anything.

But let me tell you that It is nonstop action. It started a little slow for me but then bam, I couldn't read fast enough. There will be sacrifices and losses, sadness and awe. There are more characters and old enemies. There are surprises and an ending that I didn't see coming and now...grrr.. I have to wait!!

Book one is about Lil Falcon gaining her Nephilim power at age sixteen and meeting Bran Llyr who is a half demon and half angel. The Guardians will help Bran to rescue her sister, Celeste, in Coronis Island. They will win the battle against Coronis and her minions. In the end of the book, Lil will learn that her biological father is Valafar...another powerful demon and right-hand of Coronis.

In book two, the battle of the Guardians and demons continues. Valafar insists to connect with Lil and fulfill his fatherhood obligation to her. But Lil refuses to give him a chance since his real intention is not really to bond with her, rather, to use her as a weapon against his foes, and so he will use every possible way to get her attention by bringing chaos to her loved ones, especially her boyfriend, Bran. Because Lil's charismatic personality, she will gain some alliances in the demon world. Lil's grandfather has sent Valafar to Tartarus.

In this third installment, Solange (Lil's half sister) has gained a power almost equivalent to Lil's power when she is bonded to Kris Dagger. Valafar is brought back from Tartarus by Solange. She has also convinced the Tribunal to hunt Lil by the archangels, who is led by Raphael. Once again, another chaos to battle by the Guardians. The ending has brought me to tears. With the decision of the Tribunal, Lil is forced to live with Valafar for one year in the demon world and leave his loved ones in human world. She is not allowed to see them, especially Bran. Valafar thinks that Lil's point of views will change once she is living with him. It is so heart-wrenching seeing Bran and Lil say their last words to one another...

Lil: "Promise me you will not come after me, Bran."
Bran: "Don't make me promise something I won't keep."
Lil: "Please don't go against the Tribunal."
Bran: "We are mated, Lil. No one, not your father or the Tribunal, will keep us apart."
Lil: "Then wait for me."
Bran: "I will be at our spot in Maui (Haleakala) every day.
Bran: "Yours always, mine forever."
Lil: "Yours always, mine forever."

I can't wait for the 4th installment to read. I have never thought that this series is going to be so good and will lead me to addiction. Kudos to Ednah Walters. Keep up with the great work and love-triangle free.

Hunted, is Book two in the Series (Awakened, is the Prequel; Betrayed, is Book one; and Forgotten, Book three, is E.W.'s, current project) and continues to Wow as a rapid paced, rare jewel and superior to other Nephelim vs. Demon, novels.

The thousands of year old, Nephilim Tribunal Council, has decidedly spoken.

Seventeen year old heroine Lil, is prophesied to be, "The Chosen One", to balance the Nephilim world. She has been ordered to live for one year with her recently found demon birth father. The Counsel handed down the mandate from accusations of Lil's alliance with Guardians (good Nephilim) and her father's minions (the evil Nephilim). These polar opposites have brutally battled for centuries protecting and destroying mankind and now ... deadly Archangels enter the boiling mix ... and they aren't particular who they kill!

Lil ends Book 3, flying into gut wrenching goodbyes and hugs of steel to the only parent she's ever known since she was a baby, her maternal grandfather, a Senior Cardinal Guardian. Joining the desperate moment with shock, sorrow, anger and a burning desire for a frantic revenge/rescue, are her fellow Cardinals, Guardians, team mates and her, forever boyfriend and true love, Bran.

Good over evil may not prevail during the one year sentence as Lil realizes ... she is HALF demon. The final truth Lil takes is that her mad, immortal birth father, truly loved Lil's LATE, Mundane mother.

The commanding Tribunal has agreed Lil's one year stint, with her father is for her to be able to choose for herself which group of Nephilim to side with.

(*Lil's, power hungry demonic father isn't the only one secretly waiting to steal Lil's powers, her half sister CRAVES and DEMANDS power so badly ... that even the demons want her dead!)

*Not to be left unmentioned, Lil's hunky boyfriend, Bran (born with ethereal black wings) has his own supernatural gifts, clever fierce battle skills, and an inherited trait to wield power and control water. His uniqueness earns him the rare honor and title as the only living, Cardinal Water Guardian. Frightened and desperate to protect Lil, Bran's never ending embrace and kisses may be all she has to take with her as she's pulled away from Bran. Bran's booming voice then explodes, "Yours always, mine forever!" *As expected, the wheels in Bran's head ... were already planning for her escape.

Ednah Walters! Can you type faster? Your fans need Book 4 from, Amazon Kindle! (I've never been very patient, so they tell me.) Can't wait! Readers who need to catch up ... hop on the bandwagon with Books 1 and 2 :*}

More Reviews Here: Readers Live A Thousand Lives

I’m pretty sure I have a love/hate relationship with this series, well not really... I love it but sometimes I want to shake the book and make the characters do what I want them to do. I am always addicted and engrossed with the story, but I have moments where I just want to chuck the book across the room. It’s an odd feeling but overall I would say I enjoyed the book.

Lil is a good heroine. She may not be my favorite but I do like her. She is a genuinely good person and she always tries to make the right choice. Also, she doesn't whine and I really appreciate that. However, sometimes I think she brushes things off a bit too easily. People always seem to be keeping secrets from her and if it was me I would start cracking skulls and demanding answers instead of just waiting for people to finally tell me. Then again I’m impatient.

Then we have Bran who is my favorite. I just love him so much! But boy do you need to learn to stay still! It seems like in every book in this series he goes missing at some point. There are always a few chapters where Lil doesn’t know where he is and those chapters always drive me bonkers.

I also love the secondary characters in this series, especially Sykes. He just always knows how to lighten the mood. He makes me laugh out loud constantly. I also love Master Haziel a lot; simply because he is the wise know it all teacher with a weird sense of humor.

The plot in Hunted was really fast moving and kept me turning pages. It killed me every single time I had to stop. I just wanted to know where the story was headed. Some of it was predictable, but I found that it didn’t take anything away from the story. With that being said, some of it frustrated me. A pet peeve of mine is when characters lose their memories and that happened in this one. I hate having to relearn things so initially I was angry. However, as the story progressed it became clear that the memory loss was not going to be the main focus of the story. Once I realized this I was a happy camper and moved past this pet peeve of mine.

All in all, Hunted is a very enjoyable read, especially for those who enjoy angel/demon books. This one has everything you want in an angel book while still maintaining its own distinct feel.

This is an easily addictive series that follows Lil Falcon on her journey as the wielder of the Kris Dagger, and the prophecy that surrounds it. This book picks up a few months after where Betrayed The Guardian Legacy 2 left off. Lil, Bran and the gang are up to their usual antics, but instead of demon hunting they are taking care of the list. But something happens to her powers. The kris dagger blends with Lil and she alone becomes a walking weapon of immense power.

The demons summon a force greater than even the Cardinals have ever dealt with. But when demons, neutral and evil, begin to disappear more questions are asked than answered. It becomes clear that nowhere is safe when Lil is attacked, and her memories of the past few months are wiped clean. When the same begins to happen to those on the list, it becomes clear that it is a fight against time and a force they were never prepared to face.

Will the team be able to restore the balance, reverse the blending, and save themselves before they are caught? Will the demons, neutrals, and Guardians be able to band together to fight for their survival? Ah, you have to read it to find out.

Wow. I don't read a lot of YA, but I was blindsided and sucked into this series. Even though I still haven't the first (I swear I will as soon as I have an opening), I tell you I'm following this one to the very end. I love Lil and Bran to pieces. I actually think they are my favorite couple, and their support and love for one another is inspiring. Furthermore, the love they have for family (including their friends and humans) runs deeper than I would have imagined. What these two are willing to risk to save them (and each other) is heart-touching and moving.

I have nothing but praise for the author. I love the world she has built and the characters that live in it. They are the type that you can connect with easily, no matter how old you are, because there is a strong sense of realism even when in a fantasy based world.

I can't wait till the next one is released. I'm biting nails. I NEED to know what happens next. Bravo!

*I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions still remain my own.

AMAZING! There is not enough words to describe how much I loved Hunted. Ednah Walters has outdid herself if that is even possible. Hunted starts three months after the showdown at Jarvis Island. Lil and her team of Cardinals are hunting down the humans who sold their souls to Bran in order to cancel the contacts. But a new threat has appeared because of what they Lil and her team are doing. As they say, consequences have actions, the balance of good and evil must stay balanced and what Lil and her friends are doing is knocking it of hilter. Will Lil have to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the Guardians and her friends? I won't tell you, you will have to pick up a copy to find out what happens when it is released. But I will tell you that Hunted took me on a roller coaster of emotions, happiness, laughter, shock and tears. It was an incredible read!

Again as in the previous books from the series I LOVED Lil and Bran's relationship. I love how much they love each other and would sacrifice their life's for each other. Bran is definitely my top book boyfriend. : ) I also loved the other junior Cardinals. I warmed to Kim who I mistrusted in Awakened and grow to slightly like more in Betrayed. Remy I loved as usual. I don't want to give anything away but I want him to tell the girl he likes how he feels. You can tell he really likes her and I don't think she has a clue! Skyes was his charming and funny self and Izzy was caring and cute as usual.

There where some new characters in Hunted, some I love and some that I hate. Solaris another Cardinal pissed me off and I wanted to slap her just like Lil did most of the time but in a way I get why she is the way she is. One new character I did love was Lucian, a Security Guardian. I loved how excited he was to help the Guardians and how loyal he is, I really can't wait to see what happens to him in the next book.

Overall I thought Hunted was an amazing book. The story took me on a wild roller coaster. I loved the characters, the world and the story. If you haven't picked up this series I highly recommend you do, it is one of my favourite series's. Hunted was a breathtaking read and I can't wait for more in the series!

In Hunted, we again join Lil and Bran, as well as the other Guardians. They have defeated one major evil threat, are recovering Bran's soul contracts with the help of the other Guardians, and now find themselves faced with an even greater threat, one that they never saw coming. The battle with this new enemy is one of the most intense the Guardians have ever fought, and results in the loss of many lives. Faced with evil both physically and mentally, Lil must pull upon a strength and resolve from deep within in order to overcome, but who and what will she lose in the process, and how great a sacrifice is she willing to make in order to protect those she loves?

I loved Hunted. It was great getting back into the world of the Guardians with Lil, Bran, Sykes (yum, yum), Remy, Izzy, and Kim, as well as the other characters we came to know and love in Betrayed. We also get to meet some really interesting new characters as well. Bran is a total badass and plays a major role in this installment. He is now a Senior Cardinal and one of the best there is. Being one of the few winged Cardinals, in combination with his skills, take charge attitude, hottness, and love for Lil, makes Bran a force to be reckoned with in Hunted, and I just loved him. I also really enjoyed watching Lil's character develop into an even greater heroine in this book. The relationship between Bran is Lil is solid, intense, romantic, sexy, and best of all, there is no love triangle. Sykes is his usual sexy self, and I could just eat him up, and Remy to. The book is action-packed and kept my attention from beginning to end. There are some really intense moments, as well as funny ones, romantic ones, and heartbreaking ones. Ednah Walters throws in a twist at the end that I didn't see coming and I am dying to know what happens in the next installment. Overall, this was a great read, and if you are a fan of stories about angels and demons and/or just love a good action-packed paranormal romance, then this is one series you will want to check out. I totally enjoyed Hunted and definitely recommend it.

When reading Hunted I should have had some tissues handy. I won't say where in the book you need them but trust me YOU. WILL. NEED. THEM. Hunted is a brilliant addition to The Guardian Legacy Series. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what could happen next. Just when you think Lil and Bran can rest easy you are thrown for a loop.

Lil and Bran finally get to take a trip with the other Guardians and soak up some sun when the unthinkable happens; the Guardians are attacked in a place where they should have felt safe. Now the Guardians are being viciously hunted by an unknown threat that has everyone on high alert.

For every step Bran, Lil, and the gang take an unforeseen event/entity sets them two steps back . They try desperately to gather allies to help them fight this unknown threat only to cause a chain of events that leads to possibly one Guardian doing the unthinkable.

There is still so, so much I want to tell you about Hunted but I can't for fear I will ruin this book for someone. This book really was a roller coaster ride of ups and downs that will have you biting your nails wondering what will happen next and when it does, how bad will all the Guardians be affected by it. Waiting for the next book is going to be pure agony....lol. On a scale from 1-10 I give Hunted a 20. Yes, it is off the scale but this book really packs a punch and leaves a lasting impression. Everyone who has read Awakened (Book #1) and Betrayed (Book #2) NEEDS to pick up a copy of Hunted. If you have never read any of Ednah's Guardian Legacy Series than you really NEED to pick up all three books in this continuing series. Hunted has something for everyone. If you are a fan of Angels and Demons, young love, epic battles, supernatural powers, weapons, and sibling rivalry then this book is for you. Read the continuing saga of Lil, Bran, and the rest of the Guardians and then decide for yourself which side do you belong on the side of good or evil.

My review:

Hunted by Ednah Walters is the third book in The Guardian Legacy series and I have so far loved all the books in the series and I think Ednah Walters has done it again! Hunted is definitely a book you do not want to miss! In case you haven't started the series yet, I would highly recommend it to you!

Hunted picks up three month later where the second book - Betrayed - ended. You will meet Lil and Bran and other Guardians again. Lil managed to get away from the dark and evil, but the story is far from over. Bran has a binding contract as a soul collector and he needs to fulfill his tasks. When Lil and the team are searching for ways out, they need to cooperate with the weirdest and most unexpected allies ever. They don't know whom to trust and their path takes them to a strong and powerful enemy.

I was amazed by the storytelling skills Ednah Walters has... again. When you start reading a series where the first book is good, then your expectations are quite high for the sequels. I know my expectations were high and Ednah Walters managed to surprise me again. The story takes you from the very beginning and when you turn the last page, you feel you are holding your breath!!! And then you exhale and understand, that it was absolutely a fantastic book! Talking about endings, the last pages of Hunted will blow your mind away, so be prepared. It makes you want to get your hands into the next book written by her - and it would not matter which one it is!!!!

I loved the characters. I like the kick-ass side of Lil and Bran has definitely been my favorite character of the series. The most fun part of it is, that you don't get tired of them, because the author develops them; she does not leave you an option NOT to like them. Brilliantly created characters!

I loved it!

In Hunted Ednah really stepped up her game. It was full of action and fast page turning and anyone who knows me knows I love a book like that.Hunted started three months after the showdown on Jarvis Island. Lil and Bran have decided they are going to fight the good fight. In order to do so they will have to right the wrongs they have done. For Lil it easier because she is escaping the dark side but for Bran it will be a lot harder. See Bran collected souls and he will have to retrieve the contracts to make them null and void in order to be redeemed. Lil and Bran will find out that every action has a reaction and every action has it's consequences.

Lil and the team are searching for all the contracts to help Bran out when they realize they are being hunted by a very strong enemy. They will seek help from the unlikeliest people and in the end they will have to sacrifice a lot to be a part of the winning team. Is it worth it to be on the good side? Is the fight against evil ever going to get old?what will happen when Bran or Lil have to make the ultimate sacrifice? Will it be worth it?

This is such a great sequel that it had me on the edge of my seat reading. I needed to know what was going to happen and I needed to know that Bran would be okay. Lil has grown so much from the first book so I was very happy with her in Hunted. This is a must read Paranormal series. Good VS Evil never gets old. Which side do you choose?

I can't decide what I feel about this series. There were times while reading that I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. The only thing that saved it was that its a Kindle Fire and they are very expensive and have to be imported into Australia. I can say that I am definitely liking the story and it does keep me turning the pages.

Hunted picks up just a few months after the last book ended so hopefully you have read book 1 and 2 in this series. Lil is the Heroine of the story. She seems to be a really nice person and I can honestly say I enjoy her character and would love to know someone like her in real life. And Bran, who seems to keep going missing and those seem to be when I want to throw my book, had really grown on me.

The plot in this book is fast moving and will definitely keep you turning the pages. This is an enjoyable read and more so if you really like Angel or Demon stories. I have to rate this book with 4.5 stars. It just didn't quite hit that 5 star mark. Which is probably due to my getting frustrated with the story, not so much the actual writing style. And the ending of this one... Gah now I have to wait for the next book in the series.

I really liked this book! Great addition to the series, and flows well. The Guardians story is picked up where it left off, and a re-read of the previous two are not necessary, but they are so good you should just do it anyway.

Lil is such a strong character in this story, and she holds up to her trials well, as do most of her friends. They somewhat fall to the wayside for some of the time, but you get to meet new additions, so that is ok! Sykes is particularly awesome in this book, as is Remy. Bran is Bran, all swoonworthy and whatnot!

I particularly liked the pacing of this book, but missed some of the original characters, and Kylie and Cade were interesting, hope we see more of them (her in particular) in the next instalment.

The ending was so mean! I need the next book right now!

What I am wondering though is how many more books are going to be in the series? If three books cover roughly a year, then with what happens in this particular book, how many more will there be? I hope lots!

You know those books that are just a joy to read? This is one of those, heck the whole series is! MORE PLEASE.

This is the second book in the Guardian Legacy series, and since I LOVED the first book, Betrayed, I had to get my hands on an ARC of Hunted. I wasn't disappointed. Bran and Lil are as hot as ever. I love these two together. Lil is trying to help Bran by getting humans to cancel the contracts they made with him. But in the process, Lil and the others are attacked by a new evil, and Lil's powers go crazy as a result. The new evil has wiped some of her memories, too, leaving her really vulnerable. Now she has to learn to use her new powers and work with a new team of Guardians.

Just like with the first book, the action scenes are incredible. I wonder if Ednah is actually a Guardian because she writes them so well! I couldn't put this book down. Seriously, if you haven't started this series yet, you are missing out. Go read it now. I'll be counting the days until book three comes out.

I so enjoy reading about Lil and Bran!! They have got to be one of my favorite couples of all time!! I truly am a sap for 'soul mates'. How they are simply 'meant to be'. Priceless.

Throughout this addition of the Guardian Legacy, Lil struggles with her memory loss, due to some new demons know as The Tribe. Not only this, but also with the transfer of the Kris Dagger's powers into her own body. Talk about havoc on the skin. No one knows what the ramifications will be of having the Kris Dagger's powers in her body, but it can't be anything good.

Lil continues to grow and experience many changes in her life as a Guardian. Great challenges and hurdles are in store for Lil, and the worst is still to come.

I'm dying to read the next installment in this marvelous series!! Can hardly wait for it to come out!!

Wow!! I had received the first book in the series, Betrayed, as an ARC, and loved it. When I saw the tour being set up for Hunted, I knew I had to sign up for it!! Oh wow, this book draws you in from the get-go! I love the twists and turns you expierence reading this book. There's so much to mention, but then I'd be spoiling it for you all!! Lil learns more about those who are around her, and protect her. Some are unlikely canidates too!! This is one series that if you haven't started reading, you should!!

The story of Lil, Bran and the other Guardians just keeps getting better! Just when things were cooling down for Lil & Bran a new enemy appears. And OMG the story takes some crazy twists! I enjoyed this book as much as I did Betrayed. This series is so amazing!

I didn't want to put the book down. My only complaint is the next book isn't ready. I loved it.

I did not know the series when I joined the tour. So I didn’t know that Hunted is actually the 3rd book of the series! Due to a full schedule I couldn’t read volumes 1 and 2 first, I vigorously starting to read this volume that I will praise to you today. Yes, I will.

The fact that I didn’t read the first volumes helped me to see the author’s talent. She succeeds to give the same importance to the plot and the characters. She builds them without relying on readers’ "reaction" to the previous books and don’t treat them superficial. Without knowing the history of the characters I have come to cherish or loathe them as may be the case, but especially to know them. The same situation is in respect of the action which, though rooted in previous volumes, starts and develop independently. Another plus: the information necessary to informed you, you distraught reader who didn’t take the series from the beginning, are short and to the point. You don’t get a full recall, but you’ll receive just what you need. These recollections have also the gift to make you very anxious to read the volumes you "skipped".

I found various characters, a multitude of cruel angels and good demons. Each species and exemplar is well individualized, with varied and distinct properties. Each character has already made certain choices and now those choices, in one way or another, will influence the new deployment. Though supernatural beings, main and secondary characters have very human emotions: love, hate, resentment, faith, trust and rebellion. The battle between the supreme good and evil will stand in the way of fulfillment of a true love.

Readers often complain of too little presence of the main male character's in favorite series - here Bran. Ednah Walters’ dosage is almost perfect. Bran is momentary present, but when and where it’s need. You don’t feel frustrated that you have waited too long for too little.

The action is well-handled. Whether it's a routine mission, whether it's a real fight or transit scenes something will happen and change the course of events. Friends and enemies alike are watching the main characters, ready to intervene. Although there is some predictability, it does not spoil the pleasure of reading. More than a few times, the author surprises you leaving you sad and sighing after characters that become your loved ones. These losses give the story credibility and increase the tension.

The ending is well chosen and will leave behind heated fans wondering what will happen with Lil and what will do Bran. Or rather, what they can do??

There are some small things that I wanted to be better explained or justified, but I think that in the big picture they will be notice by few. Or, for the fact that they love already the series, they will not care too much. Because yes, there is most likely that you’ll add “The Guardian Legacy” on your favorites’ list, alongside The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, Vampire Academy or Covenant.

I am still loving Lil and Bran’s story. I think that Lil is growing up so much since we read her first in Awakened. Bran has grown too, but not in the same ways. His love for Lil and everyone around him seems to grow greater and greater with each installment. I’m even coming to love Kim and Izzy. I will say that I’m officially a Sykes fan. And Remy is a cool cucumber. I’d like to see him lose his cool, more than we’ve seen in this book. I can’t really say much. I hate that, but if I start talking about what happens in this book, you’ll have the previous ones ruined for you, as well as parts of this one. I will say that we’re finding out a WHOLE lot more about this balance of good and bad thing and that there’s more at stake than keeping the demons at bay. There are surprises at every turn and once you start reading it, you won’t put it down, and THANK GOODNESS the next installment comes out in a few days! I can tell you that I truly have NO idea what’s going to happen in the next book or if it will turn out nearly as well as I hope. I mean there is hope, and I am sure that Ms. Walters will write what needs to happen, but I’m concerned for our girl Lil! That being said. LOVED this book! And I can’t wait to read the next one.

Ms. Walters does it again with this book. I’m not sure how she can manage to keep each and every book in her series strong and just as good if not better than the one before. And this dynamic world that she’s creating with the Nephilim and Demons and humans is continuously growing and expanding and building in intensity and detail. I’m glad she’s the one driving this bus because I’m sure I’d have wrecked us by now. So as I’m sure you’d gathered. Would I recommend...(https://textuallove.wordpress.com/201...) Trials, New comers, Love, Darkness & Friendships sealed.

This book is filled with more wonders than the last.
It has you on edge through majority of the book in more ways then one but each being great or better than the last.
Bran & Lil's relationship has gone up an octave not in the rated sense but in Love. and reading this and how far they've come to where they are in this one makes you smile in awe at everything they go through with the Cardinals and all the others who have become apart of this war they are forged to battle.
The story was with no doubt in my mind even more amazing than the last one for me. I got to know more in depth about the other characters, especially one in particular... SYKES you just can't help but love his character and secretly root for him to kiss or make a deeper connection with a certain someone hehe. Then theres Remy and how he's gone from responsible leader in the first book to responsible but envious towards someone affiliating with his fellow Air cardinal Kim.
This book makes me smile so much because of the characters relationships to one another and how they tie perfectly with a great storyline.

Please read this book, download it and the whole series!! trust me you wont regret it :)
100% recommend :) :)

I really enjoyed this book, and I am very eager to read the next installment. Honestly though I am a little worried at how long its taking to get the fourth book released. I'm kind of worried that it will take that long between each release, however many more there are. I wish I could find more information about what the delay has been. Aside from those concerns I really love this story, and the fascinating world that Ednah has created. I love all the ways she incorporated bits of real history and lore into her reimagined fallen angels. It is different enough from other angel stories to interesting, and enjoyable. I am thankful that I stumbled upon this series while doodling around online. Fingers crossed that it doesn't take years for the next books to be released!

I loved reading this book! I mistaken it for the second one in the series but loved it nonetheless. My favorite part of the book was seeing Lilith interact with her new team and the trial hearing at the end of the book. I was shocked by the outcome and wondered how Lilith would do living a year with Valafar.
