Jami M Brumfield has a passion for the paranormal, supernatural, and mythological worlds for most of her life. She believes there is a kernel of truth in every story and loves playing detective to discover what that hidden truth is. She has written most of her life. She started with poems and short stories, then graduated to journalism working for online websites like examiner.com. It was only a natural progression that her love of writing and her passion for the unknown would combine. Lone Wolf Rising the first book of the Winters series is the product of that union.
This was okay, but I don't think I'll continue with the series. The Winters kids have their share of surprises in this book. There were a few curve balls that I didn't see coming! What's up with all the extra siblings?? Crazy! And the alternate dimensional rivalry, wow. I was glad to get to the bottom of the massacre, but now there's the issue of this new found brother and his motives. And does everyone come back from the dead?? 2.5 stars, it was okay, but not what I was looking for.
This story had a lot of twists and action. I was kind of hoping for a Savvy and Lucky romance. I expected this to be the end of the story but a new cliffhanger was added at the end. Can’t wait to read more.
I love being on the journey these characters are going through. The ending seems a bit rushed to wrap up and there is obviously more story to tell but I have loved the world this author creates from the beginning and can't wait for more
Loved this, couldn't put it down. So much mystery and intrigue along with love and romance. Mixing the different paranormal species made it so much more interesting. Can't wait the next, just wished it wasn't so far away.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading the series, but totally loved it. it is a well-written book and the plots are well intertwined. I am excited to read number four in the series and see who actually gets their happy ending.
I finished this book way back (long time) but I just wanted it in the webaverse that this book was outstanding. Even after this time I can still see the characters and happening as clear as the day i finished.
