This contains one episode less than Volume 1 did—Space, Fire, Beyond The Sea, and Shadows. If the run hadn't been cancelled, we would've had an issue for The Jersey Devil next, an episode very dear to me, so I'm a bit bummed.
This starts off with two weak episodes (what I've dubbed the Chris Carter Season One slump) then Beyond the Sea, one of the best (and first!) Scully-centric episodes (the art for that issue was very different from the other ones, too—hyperrealistic), and then an "okay" one. Overall not as great as Volume 1, solely because of the episodes covered.
I've been a fan since I was 8 when the show first aired, reading this series is just as good as watching them. I'm enjoying reliving season one via comic books, definitely worth picking up if you're a fan!
