Animals appear with a die-cut open mouth as though they are crying uncontrollably, while reassuring text tries to calm the tears. By story's end, a rainbow is revealed which turns those frowns upside down.

A unique premise that reviews colors and is fun to read. Highly recommended for toddlers.

I wish this book we're not quite so much about telling kiddo how to feel. The visuals are great, the text not so much.

500 and one million stars because we got to make a rainbow and then say all the colors of the rainbow. I love rainbows

Jeff hates these board books that she started reading but she is totally into rainbows.
