We didn’t read the first book in this series. However, it’s clear pretty early that this is a lost dog. This was rather a nice story. There was quite a bit of action. However, it would have been nice to know a bit more about how the dog got lost and also see that he is going to get home.

A lost dog that's trying to get back to his owner helps a young girl.
I thought this short story was good / effective with a solid plot and well drawn characters.
