The final book of the series, A Dance of Light and Dark, Volume 8, was released on September 1, 2022.
Among my Mysteries & Thrillers are The Hyte Maneuver, (a Literary Guild alternate selection); The Sokova Convention, The Morrisy Manifest, Desperately Killing Suzanne, The Whistleblower’s Daughter, and Out of the Shadows.
My first non-fiction book, The Indie Writer’s Handbook, Designed for Independently Published authors, was honored with a B.R.A.G. Medallion for literary excellence, and awarded the Bronze Medal by the Florida Authors and Publishers Association.
I wrote a contemporary fiction novel, based on the Harry Chapin Song, A Better Place to Be, was named a B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree, signifying a book of the highest literary quality, and written by an independent writer; and, A Better Place to Be also received the Bronze Medal Award from Ireland's Drunken Druid International Literary Awards.

Trinity: The Battle for Nevaeh by David Wind
The Dark Masters threaten to annihilate the Nevaens, so Areenna and Mikaal decide to bring together the ten dominions for one last battle. It is up to them to find the mystical powers to save the people and their land. They have to become the Trinity of power, which is the Prophecy. But it is not so easy, they also have to find the third pillar to complete this task. Will they be able to build the trinity and save Nevaeh?
A fantastic conclusion in the trilogy. The story flows at an even pace. A lot of action, danger, and decision to be made. The attention to detail pulls you into the story and won't let you go. The characters are well developed and most are likable. Overall I found TRINITY: The Battle For Nevaeh, an action filled, intense, page-turning, thrilling read. Definitely five-stars all the way. I highly recommend to all.

Having read the first two books in the series, I've been anticipating this volume with a lot of excitement and it was just as wonderful as I expected it to be. This was an epic finale to the series, with Areenna and Mikaal leading an army of Navaens for the last battle against Evil. As usual, the magical powers and the sweet love between the protagonists kept fueling my interest as I turned the pages. There was a wonderful array of secondary characters, and the ending was simply perfect. I recommend this highly to lovers of fantasy and sorcery - a truly sensational read! I received this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review.

I feel like we concurred the world!
What a fantastic ride. "Trinity" is absolutely brilliant. The final battle where you know not what happens until the final page. Gripping your sword tight and the characters explode around you, because you are there in the battle with them. Brilliantly done. Wonderful series.

An excellent battle!
The third book in this series does a great job of wrapping up the main storyline of Dark against Light. The characters' growth arcs are complete and interesting and the story is very engrossing. It's hard to put down!

This series is pretty amazing. The world the author created and how the characters work together as family for the goal of survival and victory is beautiful!

Though I don’t read a ton of fantasy, I’ve come to be a huge fan of Wind’s Tales of Naveah series. Somehow Wind pulls off writing a variety of genres and all are so well done; it never ceases to amaze me.
In this installment of this epic series, the reader is treated to pure evil. As the Dark Masters work towards the typical antagonist desire of world domination, Wind manages to make it feel darker than usual. Yet the antagonists are filled with light, love and purity. He describes the magic as completely plausible and he still keeps it simple. It feels impossible to not be drawn into this series.
Each novel in this series has been addicting: the adventure, the romance and the classic good versus bad / dark versus light are too exciting to put down. It can be so ominous and so full of light and innocence; a fascinating dichotomy. The futuristic setting is a brilliant design as well that only serves to fuel my need for more.
I strongly recommend this series.
The series is professionally presented.

The third book in Tales of Nevaeh, David Wind’s Epic Fantasy series, focuses a lot more on magical realism by taking paranormal psychic warfare to the next step. This opened speculative possibilities about what would be real unless psychic-warrior partners Areenna and Mikaal took action to prevent the Dark Masters’ conquest of Nevaeh. This is made difficult by the fact that both Areenna and Mikaal become increasingly distrustful of The Eight sorceresses and other grand supposedly benevolent natural forces, who they must rely on to prevail. The Dark Masters know who Mikaal and Areenna are and plan to use their fondness for one another against them both. However, what the Masters’ don’t know is that there is a mysterious third person giving the psychic-warriors the edge in battle that could well thwart their conquest of Nevaeh.
As with Born to Magic, the first book, Areenna and Mikaal must contend with a witch; this time the witch’s (Lessig) background and relative importance as an evil rising power is made clear at the outset. I liked the visions provided by The Eight, which showed what would happen if Lessig was tackled in different ways. Trinity is split into two parts, Book One and Book Two, the latter being where the adventure really began for me and it did so with astounding revelation of Nevaeh’s past and present. The last 25% was rife with raw anticipation, as the final battle looms and strategy meets counter-strategy. Through third-person omniscient point-of-view and ever reliable mutant-animal aoutems such as the flying Gaalrie; we experience the glorious battles and impending fate of Nevaeh. The extremely well-conceived epic battle at the end had excellent build-up and delivery of outstanding writing.
Criticism: The language ‘I know not how’, though sounding authentic, was done a bit too often and gave a stilted effect. Some common themes slowed the progression of the plot: the movements of the numerous characters and the devotion between Areenna and Mikaal sometimes didn’t represent change in their relationship. Entering forests, discovering deception, and then aiming for a resolution repeated often. Admittedly this could be because this is the third book in this series I have read and the themes are becoming very familiar. Born to Magic #1 and Dark Masters #2 had evil coupled with great journeys of discovery, but I felt Trinity was a psychic game of chess until the battles commenced.
Overall, there was much in Trinity to applaud. There was revelation about the state of Nevaeh, and possibilities about what evil plans could befall it as the forces of good and evil prepare for a final clash. I immensely enjoyed the final battle, which is comparable in impact to the one at the culmination of the Lord of the Rings. My reservations about Trinity were because of its focus on psychic powers and preparation than on adventure. However, if you’re into this series as I am then there isn’t a compelling reason to not read Trinity.

I read the first two books of this trilogy (and gave them both 5 stars), so when David Wind released Trinity: The Battle for Nevaeh, it hit my TBR list immediately. Read on for my review!

What I liked: Areenna and Mikaal are like old friends who continue to grow and amaze as they pursue their destiny. Adding to their mystique is the third part of the Trinity puzzle, another compelling character. The Dark Masters are a great counterpoint of evil throughout the series, and their invasion of Nevaeh makes for an excellent backdrop for the story. I liked the revelation of what lies below Manhattan, and what (or who) the Eight are. The book links all the elements of action, intrigue, battles, and mystery together and brings the series to a satisfying conclusion.
What I didn’t like: I would have liked more on Neleh, the third member of the Trinity. As important as the character was to the book, I know more about some of the minor characters than her. Similarly, I would have liked to know how The Eight fared after the final battle.
Overall impression: As with the first two books, I enjoyed this one! The familiar characters, a few surprises, good battles, intrigue, and the great conclusion made this as good as the others!

Audible needs to change the classification of this installment. It needs to be put back into the category of Sci-Fi &Fantasy. They have it listed as Teens 11-13. There are some things that I don't think are appropriate for an 11 year old.
If you love epic fantasy stories that take place in a apocalyptic futuristic earth filled with intrigue, suspense, magic, action, deception, unusual creatures and more this series is well worth your time.
Well written, entertaining and enjoyable. Great conclusion that does not leave you hanging, but at the same time leaves an opening for future installments in the world of Nevaeh.
This is not a stand alone book. There are so many characters and so much going on you need to start at the beginning of the series to understand everything. It is definitely worth starting at the beginning.
All the creative detail and imagination that made the first two books in the series great stories are also present in this book.
While there is still plenty of action, adventure and magic in this book, it also has a much greater focus on the their psychic powers.
The battle we have been building towards is here. Areenna and Mikaal have gathered together all the dominions to fight in the final battle against the Dark Masters. In the fight between good vs. evil and to save the people/world of Nevaeh this is their last stand.
Helen McCardle once again does the narration, and she does a great job. Pleasant voice. Clearly spoken. The narration flows smoothly. While there is not much difference between her male and female voices, the character voices are fantastic and easily recognizable. Overall very enjoyable.

The exciting conclusion to the Tales of Nevah! Areenna, Mikaal and Nula must join together to fight the Dark Masters in the last battle between good and evil. Will they succeed or will the Dark Masters turn everyone in Navaeh into a slave. Areena and Mikaal must use every gift they have received to win this battle. The story is fast passed and keeps your attention from start to finish.

OMG!
This trilogy is a must read for those of you who are sci-fi freaks. Such a read with attention to detail, I absolutely loved all 3 books. I would have given just a little more at the end but OMG!!! Wonderful doesn't even dent how I absolutely enjoyed this work of art. Wow!

Simply A Great group of books so far!!
A rich well told engrossing story so far!!
I can't wait to purchase and get started reading on the last book, I can't imagine it being anything but more great reading!!!! I know how I will be spending all of my spare time for today anyhow lol.
