There is a killer terrorizing the town of Quiet Hills who kidnaps and strangle teenage girls, dubbing him the Quiet Strangler. But this doesn't stop Amber and her seven friends from celebrating the Christmas weekend out at a secluded cabin in the woods.

She even picks up a handsome guy named Joseph along the way. Joseph appears way too mysterious for some of her friends, yet it doesn't take Amber long to fall in love with him.

But after one of the girls go missing, suspicions arise amongst the group about who Joseph really is. Could Amber be in love with the Quiet Strangler after all?

Romantic and suspenseful, Missing is sure to keep you guessing at the turn of every page!

“Missing” is the third book written by D’qua Perrie that I read, after being totally captivated by “Valentine” and “The House on The Hill Street”! Once again, the author didn’t disappointed and created a well-written story where the thriller, mystery, and romance made the book impossible to let it down!

This time, the action is following a group of friends who are spending their Christmas weekend at a cabin in the woods, even if in their town there is a criminal who is kidnapping and killing girls, and what I mostly liked reading it, was the fact that each chapter becomes more exciting than the previous one, as it’s impossible to guess what is about to happen with the author’s mysterious characters!

D’qua Perrie became one of my latest favorite writers and I highly recommend this book (and not only) to every Young Adult Thriller/Mystery books fan!

'Missing' is a well written thriller about Amber and her friends who pick up a mysterious hitchhiker and bring him over to their Christmas party at a cabin house, whilst the police is still out hunting for the unknown and deadly Quiet Strangler. Everything seems what it seems, but this is not a predictable murder mystery thriller. Once the first girl goes missing, everything keeps you glued to the story and page-turning till you get to the bottom of everything. Highly recommended for Murder/mystery thrillers fans.
