3.5 stars

I started out really enjoying this book and then some things happened that just had me wondering where everything was going to go. Maybe, if I read the previous books in the series, I would have understood a little bit more of what went on between Dare and Rylie. And, the more I thought about it, the more certain I was of that. Her Daring Seal can be read as a stand-alone but, I honestly feel that the first four books would probably shed a little light on Rylie and why she is doing what she is and how Dare fit into the picture.

So, I am not sure even where to start with a synopsis. Rylie is embroiled in an undercover sting operation with a human trafficker, on her own. Her “brother” finds out what she is really doing and calls in back-up for her. Namely, the Seal team that helped her with a prior undercover operation that she was involved in with a drug cartel. The plan … for her to keep acting as Sylvia Hessman with Dare at her side as her lover with his Seal team at the ready to help take down Albert Liu.

Dare has been searching for Rylie for 6 months. So, that’s where I started having a hard time with the story. He’s a member of a Seal team and he couldn’t find someone? When he got the call from his team members that they found her and he was to go undercover with her, he was both thrilled and terrified when he heard what she was doing now. But, he wouldn’t miss the chance to help her or be with her. Luckily, he wouldn’t have to hide his feelings for her … feeling that he had after just one meeting with her.

As everything starts unfolding with the operation, a new twist to the operation happens. Dare finds a baby selling operation on the other side of the island where they are staying. Now, they have to stop both human trafficking operations before it’s too late for everyone.

So, I enjoyed the theme of the story. It was interesting and the she has a way with writing the sex scenes. Sometimes slow and sweet and sometimes hard and fast. We couldn’t ask for more of Dare in that regards. Caitlyn O’Leary did a nice job of drawing you into the story and keeping you interested in where things were going. She also did a nice job of filling in Rylie’s back-story. But, like I said, there were a few things that did have me confused … if Dare had no idea where Rylie was, why did she know Lydia so well and act like they were good friends? Lydia is with Clint, a member of Dare’s team. I am not sure how or where Brandon fit in with Albert. The baby selling operation also confused me and I wasn’t sure where it fit in. But, I will hand it to Caitlyn on the ending. She showed us the sweet and romantic side of Dare and really gave all the characters a true happy ending.

Rylie is doing what she does best, which means she's doing too much and something has to give before Rylie gets hurt. She's taking care of her family, working her programming job, and continuing to go "undercover" as Sylvia to shut down human trafficking operations. Her family is worried about her and her brother, Sawyer, knowing she's doing something dangerous, takes steps to make sure she has backup. That backup is Dare.

Dare has essentially been obsessed with Rylie since meeting her six months ago and has been searching for her. He was unable to find her until Clint and Lydia let him know about Sawyer's phone call. Dare jumps at the chance to see her again, to protect her, to just be with her.

As Dare and Rylie go undercover as lovers, we can see how deeply the women's plight impacts Rylie. As much as she wants to help all of them, free all of them, she knows it isn't plausible. But that doesn't stop her from hurting for them, feeling guilty that she can't do more.

They're both playing their parts in public, while getting to know each other in private. When a situation arises requiring Rylie to be gone overnight without Dare by her side, it's apparent that playing two people, along with the reason they're there, is getting to Rylie.

Will Dare and Rylie free the women as planned? Can they take the whole operation down? Will Dare and Rylie get to explore the growing feelings between them? Will Rylie finally see that she is worthy of love? Will they get a HEA?

One-click now to find out. I am loving this series and highly recommend it. I also suggest that you read the stories in order for the sake of continuity and full enjoyment of the books as previous characters appear in each subsequent book.

On a side note, and this is purely a personal preference, I could've done without "meeting" Marci, Dare's neighbor, and reading about how she always flirts with him, and how they'd hooked up a few times in the past, pre-Riley, and witnessing as the shampoo girl, necessary for getting Dare's undercover persona ready, flirted with him. When I'm reading it's because I want to know about the main characters as a couple. I don't want to hear about previous flings and/or someone hoping to start a fling. Yes, I know both characters had sex lives prior to meeting, but I don't want to read about it, whether it's in that character being a part of the story, regardless of how minor their mention is. Nor do I want to read one of the main characters, while talking to the person we all know will become the love of their life, make a reference to any past sexual experiences. I understand the necessity for the sexual history discussion in a generic sense, but feel specifics aren't necessary. It takes the focus off the couple. Again, this is purely a reading preference of mine and in no way detracts from the story.

Intense, heartbreaking, and oh so gratifying, Dare and Rylie's story dishes out all the emotions.

I love Rylie's heart and drive, as much as what made her be that way is crushing. I love her strength mixed with vulnerability, her conviction mixed with compassion, and the way she pours her all into something, even though sometimes, she drains herself too dry. But that's where Dare comes in.

Dare embodied humanity, gentleness, prowess, and determination. Everything that made up him and drove him was perfectly developed to be exactly who and what Rylie needed in her life. He protected her and gave her the encouragement and freedom to be everything she needed to be. Loved watching his pursuit of Rylie, and refusing to give up, no matter the road blocks she threw at him.

This story develed into the world of human trafficing, which is soul crushing - and PTL for the folks who risk it all to swoop in and rescue the victims, and then the others who step in to help them heal from the horrific wounds, inside and out.

If you're looking for a story that gives more than a beautiful hea, but also makes you raw and consider (and hopefully moved to help in some fashion) some of the horrific realities in this world today.... this is a book to pick up.

I didn't want to put down! I had to give it 5 stars. The plot of the story was great. A young woman who wants revenge on women trafficking. Rylie risks her life and poses as Sylvia the partner in female trafficking to bring down perpetrators. The events and people in her life leading up to Sylvia becoming involved tells a very interesting time in her life. Rylie is a very strong, courageous woman and ends up with the Seals to help her. Romance, danger and horrific events take place throughout the story. It has a steady pace and a perfect flow as you read it from beginning to end! It is a stand alone with no cliff hanger. I highly recommend this book to all who like Romance with the female leading character a strong female. Story is for 18+ with some erotica.

A Daring Chance at Love

Caitlyn O'Leary is an emotionally charged writer whose characters leave you incredibly changed! This author brings to life our Military Hero's and lays to rest some of the Demon's that can haunt quite a few of us. Her stories touch on sensitive situations that occur in and around us on a daily basis, we just don't always see it!
** Warning these stories do touch on some extremely sensitive situations.

Darius first met Rylie in “Her Adoring Seal” when she was undercover. Since then he can’t forget about this amazing woman. Rylie has to go undercover again to rescue the women from a human trafficking ring. When Darius is sent in as backup, Rylie isn’t happy. However, the more they are together, the more Rylie realizes that she needs Darius for more than backup. This is another exciting story when Midnight Delta rocks!

I received this as an ARC for a honest review so here it goes.
Riley has been leading a double life. In her real life she has 2 brothers and a sister she adopted from foster care. Her other life she is Sylvia a heartless woman who is out to make money on anything, or so the bad guys think. When Riley gets in over her head it's her brother who is worried that contacts the seals. Dare is more than happy to help. He hasn't been able to stop thinking about Riley since he meet her 6 months ago. Dare doesn't like the fact that Riley won't set this mission out what he doesn't no is it's personal for Riley. Riley doesn't trust easily she doesn't understand the feelings she having for Dare and it scares the carp out of her. Can these two come together to pull of this mission and save the lives of the women who's been sold into the sex trade? Can Dare break down her walls and prove to Riley he's in for forever? Will Riley take a chance on love or is she just to damaged? Will they be able to save those who are counting on them? Will they both make it out alive and with their minds intact? Or will this mission destroy everything? Well will they I could tell you but where's the fun in that lol. I absolutely love this series. Can't wait for the next book. I loved the story behind Riley I love these characters.

5 Enormous Stars for Her Darling SEAL

Wow. This book was intense. This is Darius's story and Rylie aka Silva. Darius is the medic on Midnight Delta's Seal team but he is so much more. He took a liking to Rylie in book 2 Her Loyal SEAL. He has been searching for 6 months when he finally finds her by ways of Rylie's brother Sawyer and it proves Rylie is in over her head. Well she will not be hurt of Dare's watch. Dare is all alpha but Rylie is stubborn and determined to see her plan through.
Dare and Rylie team up to take down a human trafficking organization. They love for eachother will build during an intense situation.
O'Leary gives us all the supporting characters from the previous books. I so love Drake and now I want more of Mr. O'Malley. I hope she does their stories as well.
Can Rylie, Lydia and Midnight SEAL team take down the villians? Can Dare convince Rylie she is worth his love and he won't give her up?
This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading the first 4 books of this series before reading Her Darling SEAL. Happy Reading!!

I gave this book 4.5 stars!

Wow! The action starts from the first word all the way to the last. You will be drawed in as Riley lives a double life. She is determined to take down a human trafficking ring, but when her family finds out, will she be able to finish or will her family get in the way? Dare is the Hot alpha SEAL that has had Riley on his mind for the last 6 months. When her family contacts him because they believe she in trouble, Dare convinces Riley that he need to go undercover with her. When she agrees, Dare know there is a job to do, but he can't help but want Riley. Will these two be able to take down the bad guys and live happy ever after?

I love how Riley can go from nerd, mom, computer genius to smart, sassy, bad-a$$ Sylvia in a blink of a eye. The eye candy of The Seals are melt your Kindle hot. Caitlin, took a real life issue and showed us what happens daily in our world.

I will be reading more about the Seals.

We've met both the hero and heroine in the past books. However, this time we actually get to know exactly what they are feeling and want. The heroine wants to end a human smuggling group which has been very active for awhile and she's been tracking them down. She also wants her foster family to be safe from harm.

Our hero met our heroine and was knocked on his butt. When she walked away, no one can seem to find her and the whole team's been looking. Once they find her, she doesn't want their help but when our hero shows up, she has to take it as there's no backing out even if they have to play lovers. Playing lovers was way to easy for each of them and our hero falls completely without much hassle. The heroine, however, fights it and the bad guys with everything she has.

Even after the bad guys are caught, she tries to walk away. The hero gives her a bit of time to reenergize before approaching her with his intent to make her and her family his forever. Will he succeed?

First, this book needed an editor. The misuse of apostrophes, punctuation, grammar, and correct word choices (you have another *thing* coming, assent means to agree, ascent means to climb) were distracting. Second, the writing was mediocre. The plot line was good but it just didn’t play out very well.

Strength in the Character Chemistry

3.5 Stars- I really enjoyed Darius and Rylie's story. There was definitely a lot of action, the plot was good and there was a lot of hot passion between the two of them. There was such strength in their chemistry. I love how the whole Midnight Delta team is in each story. I was a little disappointed with the ending because I felt as though it was rushed. To be totally honest, after investing a lot of time reading Dare and Rylie's story... I felt they deserved a much better ending and I wanted to witness it. It was rushed and I felt cheated. This is why I was disappointed. All of the previous stories were excellent and had really good endings... this one just did not fulfill my expectations. There were also several grammatical errors.

I look forward to the other Midnight Delta SEAL's stories. I hope they are great stories and have endings worthy of each strong SEAL.

Her Darling Dare

Darius "Dare" Stanton is a staunch member of SEAL team Midnight Delta. The team has become embroiled in breaking up an international human trafficking ring. Following the groundwork provided by self made computer genius Rylie Jones, they're backing her up in the final mission to bring down the human traffickers and their clients. Dare is quite taken with Rylie's strength, intelligence and determination. He is now set to help and protect her. Both our protagonists are smart, caring and effective. Running a complex undercover operation with many moving parts that are constantly rotating is exhilarating. The story is captivating, sincere and fast moving. Dare and Rylie are portrayed as competent and caring. They come from similar backgrounds and have developed sterling moral compasses. This is my favorite book so far in an outstanding series, can't wait for more of these stories.

I think Rylie is my favorite of all the heroes in this series. That she's but a small, young, self-trained vigilante doesn't make her any less dangerous than our formidable SEAL team; if anything the fact that she's constantly underestimated makes her the most lethal weapon ever unleashed on the criminal world. She is trying to take down a human trafficking ring, and she's willing to put it all on the line to save as many victims as she possibly can.

Darius is both in awe of and frustrated by Rylie. His protective instincts get in the way of her fierce determination, but nothing's going to keep him away from her now. I loved the tension and chemistry between these two. They work together so well, and understand each other so perfectly. I've been reading through this series a second time, and the story is just as enthralling as when I first read it.

Really good but still no romance!

The plot of this book was a bit crazy!!!
Rylie has met Darius a navy seal before and he has never forgot her. When the team find her and realise she is trying to save women from being sold they help her to do it.
It’s all a bit far fetched though. What was one woman going to go to against all the buyers and the traffickers! How did she think she would be able to save all the women from being sold on her own? It just didn’t make sense!
And yet again hardly any romance! No dating because of the mission.
Spelling mistakes and incorrect words, which is sadly a common theme with this author. It was good to read about the rest of Masons team but I have to say that none of them compare to that first book!

read in the box set (which is a bargain)

I wanted to know what happened to Rylie for a while now and Ms. O'Leary did an excellent job, I loved her fierce loyalty towards her family of Foster kids, and also her determination on bringing down the horrid 'Human Trafficking' ring.
Dare is determined to be by her side, and they did make an awesome team.

this is a story full of action, bad guys who are the lowest of the low, Rylie has to do stuff she hates to get nearer to the goal of bringing down the whole operation, will Rylie and Dare manage to survive as they go undercover to save the girls held captive on a Canadian Island? Well, you will have to buy the book to find out.

Rylie and Darius!
This storyline is so intense, it hooked me on page one. All my emotions got involved throughout!
Rylie was so incredible. She had revenge on the brain, no matter the consequences to herself. Thank God she had a "family" who cared what happened to her, and a Seal who couldn't forget her from 6 months ago.
Normally I crush on the male hero, but this one is Rylie, because she was beautiful, intelligent and had a plan.
The wonderful, hunky alpha Seal team was there for her as backup, definitely needed as things didn't always go according to plan.
This book can stand alone but I recommend reading the series. All goodness!!

Good,but.....

I liked this book but I would have preferred for it to move at a faster pace. Also, the mission and what each teammate was responsible for doing was very unclear which made the ending less than satisfying. Also, it was unclear what the Uncle and his nephew did. I obviously knew they were both involved in human trafficking but who's idea was the baby farm? I would recommend this book but would also mention my disappointments. Thank you for the opportunity to review this novel.

Rylie and Dare met each other during another op with the Midnight team. She is headstrong and wanting to take down human traffickers and going about it can get her killed. He and his team are finally able to locate her through her brother and friend who are very worried about her. Dare goes undercover to protect her and help her take down this one set of traffickers who both have been trying to destroy for a while now. This is a suspense and drama ridden storyline like all the other books in the Midnight series.

I absolutely love this SEAL series. Not only are there the strong male SEALs but the women they love are no push overs themselves. Rylie is on a very commendable mission but tends to not take care of herself. Enter her younger brother Sawyer who finds a way to contact Darius "Dare", the man who has been trying to find Rylie for the last six months when he first met her. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This was a very enjoyable book.
I met some of the characters in a previous book so it was nice to "reconnect" with them in this one.
In this book, Rylie is a woman who goes undercover as "Sylvia" to rescue some women from being sold. Darius or Dare is a SEAL who goes in to assist her in this mission.
It was nice to see Dare and the rest of his crew go in to help these women who so desperately need some good guys in their lives.

Good read

It was nice to finally get to the end of the plot that ran through books 2,3 and 5! While each one is a standalone regarding the couples, there was an underlying plot that would make most sense if the books are read in order. Again, there are errors throughout but not as bad as the box set.
Riley and Dare definitely have hot chemistry and the suspense angle keeps the reader well engaged

Dealing with the dregs of humanity is not something any one person should try alone yet Rylie Jones AKA Sylvia Hessman is trying to do just that. Dare Stanton only met Rylie one time but he knew she was his one and became obsessed when she disappeared. Now he's found her, in no way will she be going it alone again. They, along with Midnight Delta, take on human traffickers and it will be extremely perilous. Great action, really intense emotionally and yes! the good guys prevail.

Protector for Rylie!

Rylie is not afraid 😨 of anything. She will go after whoever she sees performing an injustice against others. The only thing that scares her is the SEAL determined to make her his and show her she can trust him. Dare is everything a military secret strike agent needs to be and he is using all his skills and contacts to help Rylie finish this mission. Very fast moving, highly entertaining addition to the series. On to the next book...

Great!

I chose this rating because it was actually a pretty good book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, doing what's right, and also falling in love and believing in yourself. I enjoyed Darius and Riley story. I think they did a great job and putting these characters together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Riley is working very hard to take down a sex trafficking ring. She’s been doing it by herself. Her brother decided she needed help so he contacted the seals she had worked with six months ago. Dare, one of the seals had fallen hard for her and had been trying to find her. It worked out perfectly for the two of them to pretend to be lovers so she wasn’t alone on this mission. But so many things go wrong and Dare is there to hold her. This is a good story.

Sylvia

I loved this book, who doesn’t love a book with a Seal Team in it. This is about a young woman Rylie(Sylvia) Et her need to stop a human trafficking ring. Darius(Drake)
Will they be able to bring down the ring? Will they make it together? Will love be enough ?
Great the book now.
I read it in a day awesome book.

Intense

The stakes are high in this action packed tale. Rylie is one of the strongest heroines I have ever read. She plans to walk into a dangerous situation and do what needs to be done to accomplish her goal. Darius the Navy SEAL is great and he does his best to help her, but from the beginning to the end this is her show. Her meticulous plans astounded me.
