I do not usually write long reviews on these types of books IE short reads that are usually “fluff”. A fluff read to me is basically any book that is mostly explained in the synopsis. They are short, usually solid writing with no twists or turns. These types of books are good to fill your time between longer novels, emotional or anything else. Basically a great book vacation spot but not usually something that will stand out to you 3 weeks later. However, this one made me get out of that mindset and go OMGWTFAWESOME! Yes I really did that and for good reason!


This book made the normal romance style of writing stand on its head. The h is the one that does not want a long term relationship, she really doesn’t. It is not a case of her loins over ruled her head (annoying) or any such stupidness. She decided that she would have a sexual relationship with her H because she wanted it and went forward. She also is the one that ends up saving the H from trouble and he is the one that wants the relationship. Total romantic H!!! Fist pump to the author you rock girlie!!! BTW the H was not beta, he still had alpha tendencies.

We’re given a lot in the Cover Description of Bear To The Rescue – and so much more that is left unsaid… and mostly shall remain on the quiet side during this review. I want to jump around and beg you not to make assumptions, to wait to read the whole story before you make up your minds about either one of this amazing couple. There is so much below the surface that you are going to read about both Bronson and Regan – some that will make you so furious that some creatures are allowed to procreate (but then we’d not have these two to love so.. *shrug*)

Bronson has been enjoying himself watching his two friends, and partners in the business, find their mates and fall into mated bliss. If there has been a bit of teasing, well it’s only fair between friends, right? But then a sexy, bear shifter hacker extreme came to work at Bear Claw Security to cover Limes while he and his mate were off.. doing mated bliss kinda things. *wink* The urge to watch over and protect this sassy minx was practically overwhelming to Bronson. Sure he knew how to treat a lady right and polite but this went so far beyond mere courtesy. And when it became obvious that Regan had some trouble following her, Bronson didn’t hesitate to step in and protect her. He wanted to shrug it off as just taking care of an employee, but his bear knew better. Hard to ignore that inner beast screaming Mine, Mate.

Regan is good with a bit of a sexy tumble – but commit? No how No way – that is not in her future. She knows what men are like, especially Shifter men and wants no part of that at all. But if she would lose her mind and pick out a mate one day, Bronson sure would do fine. He’s rich but doesn’t show it off, he’s sexy but doesn’t toss it in her face (too much) and so far he’s been everything her father and male siblings.. are not. But he has secrets, and secrets usually are not good for the mate in the committed thing. But he is wearing her down with his kindness and sexiness.

When Bronson comes to realize that the trouble chasing Regan just might be related to him – he goes off into protection mode and everyone ends up in a pile of trouble.

There is so much hidden underneath the lover’s story in Bear To The Rescue, that it is very easy for it to suddenly just jump out at you. Yet Bronson’s other story and Regan’s as well is there, just not the main focus until later — and then it hits like a thunderbolt. The strength and courage Bronson has underneath his rich, playboy businessman surface is amazing. And Regan will discover that once she has chosen her mate, by her own decision, she will fight anyone and anything to keep him safe. These two are an amazing couple – and you should read about them for yourself.

If you love Shifter Romance then I believe you’d enjoy Bear To The Rescue… or any of the stories in the Bear Claw Security series.

This made for another fun and light bear shifter romance. It did have the whole insta-love thing going on, but I still liked the characters. It was short, so the plot and storyline never felt dull and flowed well. I'm also appreciative it was offered a kindleunlimited.

We finally find out what Bronson has been hiding about his past. Limes is off on his honeymoon with Jamie and had found a techie friend to support Bronson, Cage, and the new guy Hercules, while he is gone. Regan has her own reasons for hanging out with some big guys for awhile. She has made a few enemies by getting a bad guy arrested and doesn't mind the protection afforded by working at Bear Claw Security. When she is almost kidnapped in the building's parking garage, Bronson decides she will be safer with him. Needless to say, he had an ulterior motive. He is starting to think Jamie may be his mate and he welcomes the chance to get closer. In the end, though, it will be his past that puts her, and him, in danger.

This is the third book in the series. This is Bronson and Regan's story. While Limes and Jamie are on their honeymoon his friend Regan has come to fill in for him. Regan is an alpha bear and a hacker with an enemy. Bronson takes it upon himself to become her bodyguard . Will these two alpha's every get along? Is Regan being threatened because of Bronson's past? I give it 5 stars.

&, I'm back to the 3 STAR feeling. I just felt this book had lots of promise and then bam, a number of story lines were cut off or made no sense how they came to be. *sigh* Is something wrong with me?

3.5 stars overall. Some minor issues with the timeline and positioning of people during the fight scenes, but otherwise I can easily see why the main characters belong together. Enjoyable story with a truly complete happy ending, that may lead to another story (bonus).

Carrie has come to work at Bear Claw Security as a temporary replacement for her friend, Limes, who is off on his honeymoon with his mate, but she has a problem of her own to cope with. There are people after her, so when Bronson finds out, he puts her under his own personal protection.
Bronson has just found his mate, she's a feisty, nosey, IT hacker who just won't stop looking into his past and questioning him about it. There are things he'd much rather forget all about in it, including his rich family, but he finds himself drawn to this woman who invades his privacy and gets right under his skin and is up in arms when he finds she has people attacking her.
But then his two worlds come crashing together with a vengeance.
I'd recommend this book to others.

BEAR TO THE RESCUE....BUCKLE UP, IT'S GOING TO BE BUMPY RIDE!!!!

Terry Bolryder knocked another one out of the ball park. I am so glad that she made the "Bear Claw Security" a series. I love my BEARS!!! The story line to this book is awesome and the characters work right into the series. I laughed (some parts so funny I spit water on my Kindle for 100th time), felt heart ache and the pain of the past. I love how she put two characters together that had nothing in common other than they had secrets of their past. It was as if I was in the book with them. I love books that have me so absorbed I actually feel like I am a part of the book. This is one book I do not think you should miss. This is my favorite so far.

Bronson is a bear shifter and the founder of "Bear Claw Security." He takes the business of body guards to a whole new level. He is what people would call old money, and he invested it into the security company. He is a huge man and considered to be the best bear in the business when it comes to personal protection. Even though he has trouble with women throwing themselves on him because of his charm and awesome smile, he still manages to be professional. His professionalism comes to a halt when he hires a new employee to work while Limes is on his honeymoon. She is sassy, curvy, and a very good hacker. Only thing is she may need his protection from an unknown source. He takes this case on himself because he has reason to believe this sharp witted woman just may be is mate.

Regan is a bear shifter and the tech expert Bronson hired to work in Limes' place while is gone on his honeymoon. She accepted the job as a favor to her friend. She only plans to work till Limes returns because this new job puts in constant contact with a very large, gorgeous, overwhelming bear shifter. This bear shifter makes her weak in the knees and feel things she shouldn't let herself feel. Because of her past the treatment of her father and other men she has decided she wants nothing to do with Bronson, even if he is her mate. She has no need or time for men even if it is her cocky, yet handsome boss. There is a close call that puts her under the protection of Bronson and in his home because it is secure and safe. Only one problem, Regan does not know if she can keep her hands off him.

With both Regan and Bronson being Alpha bear shifters and in the same quarters, it is too easy to for the two of them to steam things up and then it gets complicated. Bronson knows he wants Regan for keeps, but because of her past he has take it slow so he can convince her that not all bears are lowlifes and he can be trusted to love love her and protect her from the unknown forces threatening her, and he can help her pull the skeletons out of her close and banish them.

Can Bronson let go of his past and give Regan all the love she needs? Can Reagan get rid of her fears from the past and trust Bronson?

No Spoilers. I recommend this book and promise you will not be disappointed!

The things that make you go awwwwwww!!! Bronson is a big, bad, sexy protective bear who had to turn his back on his biological family because of a betrayal. He is more then ready to settle down after watching his two best friends find their mates and now he wants nothing more then to find his mate and make a family. When Limes goes on his honeymoon, they hire a female bear tech to temporarily replace him but Bronson can't help but be intrigued by the new girl and her seemingly lack of interest in him. When he realizes she is his mate and she's in danger, Bronson will do whatever it takes to keep her safe because SHE IS HIS and nobody messes with his mate. Regan doesn't trust male bears at all, her father left after promising to always be there and she blames it on the nature of the bear. She doesn't want to be attracted to Bronson but needs his protection and she agrees to live with him until the threat is dealt with. With close quarters comes an intimacy she wasn't prepared for and Regan agrees to a sexual relationship with no strings. Bronson was my favorite out of the three, I'm so glad he got his own story!! Regan needed a strong, confident, happy to be domesticated guy to show her that not all males were untrustworthy and Bronson needed a woman who made him work for her affection and wouldn't just fall at his feet and worship his gorgeous person. They were so sweet together, that's the kind of relationship that I wish I could someday find.

The boss gets his woman. Right, only it just isn't that easy. Oh, she's hot for him and he's hot for her, but he wants more. Yep, he wants a home, cubs and a mate. Regan has no intention of falling into that kind of situation. She knows what male bears are like--at lease from her experience. Take 'em and leave 'em. Oh, make sure you get them to trust you first. That is her experience with her father and all of her steps. Not for her, no way no how!

Bronson is the big boss, gorgeous, he also has a history, but he's changing his future. At least he is if he can get this stubborn feisty hacker bear to let him get close. Then her fidgety actions start to make sense. She's being threatened and Bronson is having none of it. The one thing it does is put them together, and it isn't long before they are really together.

As I read to this part I was thinking--oh no this is just to easy. Right! No way would Ms Bolryder let things be so simple. And they weren't. Danger, pasts that haunt, family issues and a desperate fight from Boss Bear to get his mate. The team helps, and torments him, backs him up and encourages Regan to give him a shot.

What will it finally take to break through the barriers around her heart? Will Bronson's patience wear thin and chase her away? This one just gets better and better as the story moves on. Don't miss it. The strongest of recommends from me.

Bronson is a bear shifter who runs a security firm with his friends. They recently hired a female bear shifter to help with the computer work and he has been fighting his attraction to her. Regan is attracted too but she wants nothing to do with bear shifters and having a mate. She has not seen those relationships work well. When Regan is being pursued, she agrees to let Bronson protect her. Being in close proximity makes it hard to ignore the chemistry.

I enjoyed the storyline and characters. There is a really big surprise you don't see coming and I enjoyed it. I liked the characters. Regan is tough because of her past but her bear knows what she wants. Bronson is a good guy who wants a happily ever after and will do what he needs to do to make it happen.

This long standalone novella with an HEA is the third book in the Bear Claw Security series. In it, Bronson, owner of BCS, has hired a new contract tech expert to cover for Niles while he's on his honeymoon. Bronson comes from a wealthy, pure line of bear shifters, but at eighteen he suddenly left home, joined the armed forces and was recruited into special ops, where he met the shifters he has hired for his security company. Regan was referred to him by Niles, is good at her job, and is obviously hiding something. When she finds a masked man hiding behind her car in their parking garage and runs to Bronson for help, he puts her under his personal protection. They assume it's someone from her past seeking revenge, but until the apprehend the stalker, they won't know for sure. And as events escalate, they find Regan isn't the only one at risk. This is a great KU Library read.

This book was given to me for an honest review. Book 3 in THE BEAR CLAW SECURITY series lets us learn all about the owner Bronson. One of the protectors but also the boss. He's found his mate in tech savy Regan. She's there to fill in for Limes as he's on his honeymoon. Bronson recognizes his mate right off but Regan fights it. She believes he's a player and he needs to prove he's not. Regan is being stalked and threatened by an unknown and it's up to Bronson to keep her safe. Sparks fly and things heat up when they are together 24/7 but Regan refuses to let herself love Bronson. You have to read this to find out how he goes about trying to win her over. We also meet 2 more characters who hopefully will end up with a book of their own.
