A lot of questions from tests are not covered in this book. The overall book structure is disappointing. It looks more like a poem about the road rules rather than a well-structured learning resource that lists and explains those rules.
I would expect to see the glossary first, which explains what is a junction, what is maneuver and overtaking, what is the road and what types of roads exist etc. Then I would expect to see a description of all traffic signs and road markings. And finally - rules of driving at junctions, maneuvering and overtaking rules. This part is most important for ensuring road safety, and it should be built on a good foundation.
But what I found in this book is a huge description of driving licenses, how to get a learner permit, how to apply for the test, vehicle safety, good driving practice, assisting police, alcohol, correct behavior, respecting others, and some rules for motorcyclists/cyclists/pedestrians. Where the rules you ask? There are a few chapters, which describe basic traffic signs, junctions (9 pages), traffic lights and signals (3 pages), etc. Totally 90 pages out of 260. And those chapters structured poorly. For example, Rail Cross Code is repeated 5 (!) times.
Don't waste your time - it's better to practice with sample tests.
Got the basic of Irish rules of road - cant remember much of what I read tho lol (especially the part of driving motorbike - could replica a few things when back to Vietnam)
