When Marielle finds out that a guy she had a crush on in school has passed away, the strange occurrences of the previous week begin to make sense. The more he watches her, and gets to know her, he realises that he was drawn to her for a reason, and that once he knows what that is, he will be able to change his destiny.

About the author

I have been writing for over twenty years, and every time I start a new project, it reminds me of the magic that can be created by simple words. I spent most of my childhood in other worlds, and I always knew that I wanted to create faraway lands for people to escape to when they felt the need.

When I write, I have no idea what is going to happen, or where the story is going, which makes the twists and turns in the story just as shocking to me as they are to the reader.

I absolutely love to hear from my readers, it’s what keeps me motivated to keep writing and publishing. In the times when I feel like giving up, I will receive a beautiful message from a reader thanking me for giving them hope, or making them feel like they finally belong, or for reminding them of something they once knew, but had long since forgotten. And so I keep writing.

I've read one other book by Michelle Gordon called The Elphite. It was not only a great story about characters that you came to care about -- it was an enlightening one as well. It introduced me to quite a few lessons that have stuck with me and reinforced some concepts that I think are key to living a happy life. This book was no different in that respect (though the story was completely different). Marielle and Nathan's story is beautifully written. The context of their relationship is truly interesting, engaging, and uniquely. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to read more of the books in the Visionary Collection. I also really enjoyed the bonus ending, so make sure you sign up for her newsletter to get that if she is still offering it.
