One does not act against Faerie’s tyrannical queen, however insane she may be. To do so is treason—and treason comes with a price. Is it a price he is willing to pay? Alasdair did not need to ponder the question long. In his heart he knows that he must save the human child. But first he must cross over to the human world and retrieve the changeling set in her place.
When Leisa discovers that her baby daughter did not die five years past but still lives in a place she thought to be only myth, nothing or no one can stop her from following Alasdair back to Faerie to save her. But the path to finding her child is wrought with danger. And Faerie’s Queen is hell bent on stopping them.

I selected this book as one from Amazon and am thrilled that I did. It is excellent. It stands alone but you know there could be more books about Alaisdair and Laisa and the fairy kingdom. You knew it would turn out okay or at least you were pretty sure. It is a great adventure with the Fae, the dragons that talk and tell the truth of why the Fae kidnap human children. And more in the way of friendship and love and how it all works when the people are right and the conditions are met. It is a great fantasy and even if you don't believe in fairies, you'll think differently after you read this book.
I don't usually read romance, but I like a good fantasy adventure, and this delivers for readers of either. The characters are fun and easy to relate to, and have enough internal conflict to keep them interesting. The fae are also conflicted, in some ways beautiful and noble and in some ways not so nice. The gradual reveals of some of the fae's darker secrets is fascinating. Most of all, it's just fun to follow the adventure through some unexpected turns, always wondering "now, how are they going to get out of this one?"
A lovey story, easy to read and follow. A must for those who like fairies. The descriptions make you feel like you are there and by the end you are rooting for them to win. There are a few grammar mistakes, but they don't take you away from the story. I had to re-read a couple if lines, when speech marks wee missing, but I'm still awarding 5 stars.
This story has it all-Dragons, Elves, a wicked Queen, Trolls , and innocent children The story has twists and turns and leaves the reader wondering what next? The reader becomes aware of possible life threatening events and unexpected allies. A very good read
You befriended my mom in Kitely so I had to reach out and follow you. I've seen your hardcover Faerie Dust in real life and am planning on reading your book myself. I'll pen a review at a later date. Thank you for your kindness with my mom. I look forward to meeting you, kindest regards!!
