Rereading.
2018 review: I love this series so much. The writing is great. It's really not a safe kind of book, with the torture and rape and breeding program, but it's not descriptive with the rape in this story.It flows so well. Definitely have to read the other books first or you'll not understand everything that is going on. Great read.

Angel and most of those from RARE are in healing mode from the last fight with the General's goons. How could one of their own be taken?
Well the monster has Storm. Jinx is doing all he can but it may not be enough and who is speaking to Storm in her head? A few on the team do not trust Jinx. Angel just can't get over that her Ex whom she thought dead is not and that her children with him Jade and Jinx were alive and one now was mated to one of her teammates.
Can the team finally take down the general?
Storm has so much to think on and first and foremost was getting free until she senses something in her head while being held captive.
It can't be can it? Steele knows who Storm is to him and he will do all it takes to save her.
I loved the previous books in this series and the author did not disappoint with this one. We find out so much more and there is much more to come. We get action, romance and strength of family and surprises galore. And sorry but yes we get a cliffhanger.

This series combines some of my favorite things: supernatural powers, shifters, and fated mates. Saving Storm is book 4 and you really have to read them in order. It has been awhile since book 3 was released and I found myself needing to pause and try to remember who all these characters are (there are a lot) and what the heck happened previously (again, its a LOT). This book centers around Storm being captured by the General and finding her mate while in captivity. Of course the team is trying to save her, Jax is working as a double agent, and danger ensues. These books are super fast paced with all the character hopping and multiple plot lines. Saving Storm is another enjoyable addition to the series and I really am excited for the next one! These books give me exactly what I want and expect!

I liked how this book shows different sides or reasons for choices that are made. I know that a some people don't have any love for Steele, but you have to look at the big picture...why did he make the choices he made? I enjoyed this book, learning more about Angel's ex, the father of her children, and why he was involved with the General in the first place. Jinx is pretty much the same... you know why he does what he does, you have compassion for him and are rooting for him, for him to find his one, his mate, his happily ever after. Poor Storm, though... I cried! Storm being tortured the way she was... I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just end with saying that this book flowed well with the others and I would definitely recommend it!

A series that is filled with suspense and one that continues to keep you on your toes. Being help prisoner and experimented on is probably not the time to meet your mate for the first time. But that's what happens to Steele when the General kidnaps Storm a member of the RARE group. Totally fell in love with their characters, their interactions and the way they work together. Can't wait for more in this series.

Saving Storm is not an easy story to read. Sullivan gives us angst from beginning to the very end. What she puts her characters though will have you on the edge of your seat. We get more answers but leaves us with more questions. This series has to be read in order or you will lost. I fell in love with Steel but Jinx that bad boy is one of my favorites. Overall another good story from Sullivan!! Happy Reading!!

Great continuation of series. Suspenseful,emotional,sexy,twists and turns. The General continues his crazy ways capturing paranormals and experimenting on them. Enjoy that all characters from previous books are involved in each story.

Amazing read! I absolutely LOVED this book. It was not at all what I was expecting, and I'm usually pretty good at predicting directions in which a story will go. Storm is like Starburst, a juicy contradiction. I thought the story was going to go in a completely different direction, but I was pleasantly surprised. After going through everything she has gone through in her life, Storm somehow manages to wow me with the decisions that she makes throughout this story. She is one tough shifter; cocky, feisty, and enough attitude to make an alpha cringe. Yet she is vulnerable and caring at the same time. Hence the Starburst reference. Steele, just... WOW! I did NOT see that coming. Talk about a slap in the face. That man is the exact opposite of the person we have been reading about since this series first began. Needless to say, my opinion towards him has changed quite a bit. I'm so glad I got to know his character. He makes a girl want to hug him and jump his bones all at once. I don't know what I'm going to do about Angel. She makes me CRAZY! If she wasn't such a b@d@ss (or fictional character) I would slap the crap out of her! I still love her though. I cannot wait for the next book in this series! All the new additions make me excited for more books to come. 5 stars!

Storm is a strong, kick ass woman. She can look after herself and isn't afraid to show emotion when she's scared. Steele is a strong man who loves his family and will endure anything to protect them. They find each other while going through a tremendous hard time. They have each other and even though their love is new, they know that they can depend and count on one another.
As I read this book, I found answers to questions from other books. I love how the author brings the other characters from previous books into the mix and you can see how they are doing as well.
The more I read these books the more I come to love this world and the Characters Dawn has created!!! I can't wait to find out what is in store for the R. A. R. E. Team!!!

Saving Storm by Dawn Sullivan had my emotions and temper going up and down as I was reading it. Of course this book wouldn’t be part of the RARE series if it wasn’t filled with action, suspense, HEAT and a great story and it does deliver on this and more. I think Storm’s story is now my new favorite book of this series. Storm is such a badass I don’t think there are many people who could take what she went through plus still come out the other side still ready to fight. Storm of course does find her mate and who her mate is will mix up her world as she knows it. Steele is a sexy alpha who is tortured by the General and has been for a long time but he stays because he believes he is saving his family by doing so. The General is up to his same games and causing trouble as he goes along but we also get a deeper look into the workings of his brain and what he wants to accomplish. What we really find out is that he will use and get rid of anybody and he has some surprising people who are in his circle of minions. I don’t want to blow any of the surprises that you will get from this book you have to read it to see for yourself but you won’t be disappointed.

Storm & Steele's story just adds another line to this intricate plot at the end of this book & it was excellent. Storm was captured by the General & brought to the facility where Steele has been a prisoner for about 20 years & has been experimented on; when Steele gets a whiff of her scent he knows that she is his true mate. As Storm is there she kind of experiences some of the torture that Steele has been experiencing & it wasn't pretty but with his support she didn't give up. Eventually they both escape; but when RARE finds them only Storm goes back with them as Steele feels the need to go back & to try & protect Jinx. But, Jinx persuades Storm to go back to Storm & help him from the outside of imprisonment & Steele does go back to not only stay with Storm but also with some other werewolves that Storm picked up along the way (not spoiling that mystery for you, sorry). & as this is a HEA story I'm also not going to tell you how this ends. But, just know that I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Book 4 in the RARE series is going to shake things up a bit. Once again Ms. Sullivan's characters are going to surprise you and the twists and turns thrown into this storyline are really intense. I have to say , I did not see most of them coming. Storm's capture has set things in motion and just like domino's things are starting to fall. I love that even though each new story focuses on a specific couple, all the characters are involved from previous books. They stick together no matter what is thrown at them and never quite fighting. Steel was an interesting move on Ms. Sullivan's part, making great inner conflict with the team and making me wonder what other surprises she has in store to stir things up. Lots of intrigue, tensions are high, drama, angst and some interesting revelations. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Sullivan has in store for us next.

Interesting read with full of surprises! Saving Storm is Storm and Steele's story. Storm, a member of RARE who has psychic ability and a werewolf. Steele, a man who has a past with Angel. When Storm was captured by the enemy, things will get intense...but an unexpected thing happened to her. She met her mate, the one that fate destined for her. But with the experiments and the things she went through in the hands of the enemy, things will get intense! Ms. Dawn did a good job in making Saving Storm interesting and full of surprises! There may be some parts that I was a bit unsatisfied, but still love this book.

Ahhhhh. I loved this one SO much. Storm had been a character whose story I couldn't wait for! And Dawn Sullivan did NOT disappoint me. Storm is a kick a$$ character, she always has been. And here we get to see her fight for her freedom and for her love! My favorite part of these shifters are when mates meet and I loved how these two connected before seeing each other. When they finally get to mate the LOVE is ever present and we get to see how deep their bonds go. I love the suspense in each book and can't wait for more. Highly recommended!!!

Dawn has Given us her best work yet I absolutely love love this book.
I am so damn extatic ladies that we finally get to Storms story.... Omg be prepared for ur hearts to be broken and Storms and Steele's pasts..... and because of that you will over joyed that they meet and finally get the most beautiful HEA.....
I don't wanna give anyone spoilers. so all I have to say is that if loved the others books be prepared cos this was the best yet in the series.... I so can't wait for us to get the next book...

Another score for Mrs. Sullivan's RARE series!!! This was a fantastic book that had me going through the motions, or should I say emotions!!! I laughed and cried and screamed my way through this book and yet I still wanted more!!! I loved the characters in this book and I am so ready for the next one to come my way!!!!
