I feel like a piece of myself has been awakened

Charan: I am many things, child. But yes, I am not man nor god, neither love nor hate

Niobe: Your face is made of magic, I would call that love

There's something vastly ethereal about Niobe. I don't understand it and I doubt I ever will but it resonated with me.

Not Great

I usually have a hard time pinpointing exactly what it is I don't like about a comic when I don't like it. I think with this issue I realized what it is; the writing. Much of the dialogue seems forced and artificial, which is weird coming from a comic instead of a movie. This is one of those series which I want to like but I just can't find it interesting. I still have a few more issues I have to read before making a final judgement, but so far it hasn't caught my interest at all.

I liked the story but felt it was a bit rushed, especially the love story. The world building could have been developed or explained more. So there is potential there. The art is very pretty. The lines are clean and easy to interpret what going on. I love the colors.

I just wish instead of 4 issues it could have been longer so that the story could have been developed more.

Good but could be better

As much as I enjoy the premise and art, the execution lacks fluidity. There are jumps in the story and reactions that either aren't expressed well or not explained. Maybe it is because we never really get a clear understanding of the characters to work from. Either way, I shall keep reading because it has so much promise.

3.5/5 BEAUTIFUL colors. Honestly I read this for the art rather than story. Not fully sure I understand what is going on but still STUNNING ART
