Darkvale #1

Hunter & Hunted

Rate this book
Spence Bennett ran away from home right after he graduated high school. Life has to be better on the streets than dealing with his unloving parents and the secrets he keeps from them—the secrets that could put him in a lab. Then Hunter Westing saves Spence and reminds him that he isn't alone. Plus, Hunter's sexy (and kinky) as hell, and for some reason, he likes keeping Spence around.

Hunter isn't sure what to make of Spence when they first meet, but Hunter knows he needs to protect the kid from the evil that lurks in the shadows of Darkvale City. Spence is too special to be sullied by it, and he reminds Hunter of a friend he let die. But Hunter didn’t expect to fall for Spence, only the more time they spend together, the hotter things get.

However, both Spence and Hunter have secrets from their pasts that could tear them apart, even more so than the mysterious vigilante who stalks them through the night.

While lust burns between them, can they trust enough to fall in love?
Contains graphic gay sex and violence.

This book stands on it’s own, but it’s the first in a companion series to Broken Heroes. For more of the story check out Titan in Chains (Broken Heroes Book One).

I'm a huge fan of Zoe's work. Seriously. As an author myself, it's rare to come across an author who can try her hand at everything. And that's what Perdita can do. Sexy alphas anyone? Sure! Superhero, villains, assassins, knights? You betcha she's got it!! <3

Once again, I have incredibly enjoyed reading this book.

Please read it! You will not be disappointed by Zoe's work.

No sé cómo describirlo mejor. Simplemente me pateó.

Aún no me he decidido.

Actually book #2 of the Darkvale series. A grittier tale than the first book starring a different couple with Hunter and Spencer, two homeless, street kids falling in love and trying to break into the mask vigilante business. "Fake X", or possibly "Original X" plays the villain for undisclosed reasons except "revenge." Elements of bdsm once again in the book which gives rise to the question, "Are all vigilantes in ZP's world into pain?" Probably, yes. Not too heavy on the bdsm however so those who are not a fan can still enjoy the main story.

I love this world of villains, superheros and "ordinary" people. Cannot wait for more. :) ♥ Wish our new vigilantes actually met with the real X and Apprentice too. These characters rock!
