This is a simple, fun book that teaches young kids the alphabet. Each of the letters has something to do with sailing, although this had to get very creative for the more difficult letters like Q, X, Y and Z. I think this book would be ideal for a child who loves the ocean, water or beach. All of the drawings are hand drawn and realistic rather than pristine, which gives this a nice touch. I'll definitely share this book with my young nieces and nephews.

This was a cute alphabet book with each letter representing a nautical object or idea. The illustrations look like watercolor and fit the theme of the book; they do seem a little amateur-ish. Overall, a cute book for young ones.

I read this ABC book with my twin grandsons. I do like the fact that both upper case and lower case letters are on each page, that's a discussion in itself. I also like that each letter is related to boating/sailing terms that also had to be explained. It is not your typical ABC book and is for older children (3 or 4 yrs.old).

Sailor Bean Adventure with Letters was just that an adventure.My children not only learned some new words but loved the cool drawn pictures associated with them.This helped them to distinguish what the words we're.Such a fun and great learning experience to share with them.

I live on Lake Michigan where people like to spend the summer on the water I thought this book was adorable and informative for little ones. I gave it to my niece hoping that she'll grow up to be a bookworm like her aunt. This book was a great addition to her library and should be in your childs

This is a delightful nautical themed alphabet book. Very creative and the pictures can lead to further discussion and stories with children.
