Then ... the sun beats with steamy heat.
Grasses stand like spears, shining.

A delightful, heartfelt rhyming book about a day in Australia and its native animals and birds. It has stunning illustrations with indigenous art which is one of the highlights of this simple rhyming book. Another highlight is the translation in Yanyuwa language at the back.

Absolutely stunning illustrations. An excellent read with my 3 year old. I love that it includes a translation at the back as well.
