A tough Vampire Auditor who doesn't take crap off anyone should never let herself be Bitten by one of the Vamps she's sent to Audit...what is my life coming to?
My name is Addison Godwin and I’m a Non-Glam—one of the one in ten thousand humans who is immune to vampire glamour and mind tricks. My ability enables me to work as an Auditor—a government agent that monitors vampire/human relations and tries to keep the two species apart—sexually at least. That’s because you can’t go to bed with a being strong enough to bend an iron bar in half and not wake up looking like road kill the next morning.
Enter Alec Corbin—a six foot four master vamp with piercing silver-blue eyes who’s a royal pain in my ass. He’s also determined to get me into bed. He swears he can be gentle but I’ve seen enough vamp/human crime scenes that started in passion and ended in tragedy to keep my distance, even if he is supernaturally hot.

This is the first book in the Born to Darkness series by Evangeline Anderson.
This book is a mixture of Anita Blake and Sookie Stackhouse worlds.
You first meet Addison an non-glam which means no vampire can glam her and make her feel or image things in her mind. She's also a auditor for government to check on vampire owed companies or bars etc.
Alec Corbin is a very old vampire who owes Under the Fang nightclub and has loved Addison since she first checked his premises 2years ago.
Really good story just feels at times like its a bit long but a lot does happen and the struggle between Addison and Corbin doesn't feel rushed and develops is a lovely romantic story. Looking for to Taylor story (Addison BFF).

Addison and Corbin
Interesting concept; a human that can't be brain controlled "glam" by a vampire becomes an Auditor, someone that polices human-vampire interactions.
Addison, the Auditor, inspects Corbin's nightclub. She hates all vampires except one, her BFF who was forcibly made a vampire. Corbin has had a thing for Addison since she first walked into his club on an inspection.
I read all three together so my review is for all three.

Wow!!!
What an ending. I know they are not major characters here, but I really liked Victor. Anyway, still slightly annoyed with Addison, but I can't wait to see what happens next.
