Fairy Tale Bastard
Nicholas Blake is your typical class A, rich bastard who loves getting what he wants. Hmmmmm so I am torn here. I really love this author but this story, hmmmm, had a lot of very minor issues that didn't have me hooked on Nicholas.
I don't know but the whole story, ughhh....def not for my safety gang peeps who have specific no-no's lol and yes there will be SPOILERS here, so STOP now if you don't want to know!
The whole "Cinderella" thing vs Emma just had me torn up, I guess I had wished it didn't go on throughout, like that he knew immediately BUT the fact that he didn't and yet still had that fascination with the "other" woman....just turned me off sadly:(
I am interested in reading about Hunter and Adam....I hope. And.....I am curious about both Lizzy saying OMG AND Adam saying the OMG esp where Nicholas was like where did that phrase come from .......hmmmmmmm I just found that tidbit interesting and wondering "who" will wrangle Adam!

When authors give a modern twist to fairy tales it can go one of two ways for me. Either it’s a complete cheese fest that ha me rolling my eyes or it is a read that I cannot put down. And Bella J had me rolling my eyes… from arousal. He steamy new take on the Cinderella tale had me hooked from the very beginning!!
I was expecting a sweet little escape rolled inside some clichéd tropes that didn’t make me think too hard but what I got was one HOT book with a swoony hero. Now don’t get me wrong, this book was plenty sweet and I had a giant smile on my face for most of it, but Bella J’s writing added some eroticism, mystery and sensuality to this that had me shivering.
The plot was predictable (I mean, a Cinderella story can really go only one way) but I found the ways in which she brought the fairy tale elements into this story were totally creative and refreshing. The angst in this book was fantastic and yet didn’t take over the entire story while the humour and banter had me snickering all throughout.
This is Cinderella with edge. Recommended!

This is by far my favourite of Bella's work so far! If I could give this 6 stars I would.
The first words from my mouth when I finished this was "I need more!!!!". The whole twist on the Cinderella was amazing, I mean come on it even had a masked ball lol what fairytale is complete without a ball :) The way the author has incorporated a favourite fairytale into her fantastic story is nothing short of incredible. Right from the beginning of this book we have a twist that I didn't see coming and it made my day. I laughed in many parts throughout this book especially the banter between Nicholas and his friend Adam. Bella kept me fully engrossed and entertained throughout. I didn't put the book down until I was finished and I'm glad because now I can re-read.
Nicholas is our typical cock rich bachelor who likes to enjoy himself with his friends Adam and Hunter after a birthday tradition he ends up with an obsession. The Stripper, no matter what he can't get his mind off of her. Until he meets his fathers new maid Emma. Nicholas has never wanted any sort of relationship until he meets Cinderella and then Emma, his mind kind of goes into a tail spin/
Emma is doing her best to help her sister through law school, which is how she ended up as a maid for the complete douche that is Nicholas' father. She is a laid back kind of girl that enjoys life and makes the best of everything. When she meets Nicholas' she is immediately attracted to him but also wary of his player ways.
The chemistry between Nicholas and Emma is fantastic and they develop a great relationship apart from Nicholas' inability to forget about Cinderella. All of the characters are well developed and I got a good sense of whose book I want next *HUNTER* *THEN ADAM*.
Like I have said before I have always enjoyed this authors books but I have completely fell in love with this series. So I will be looking out for the next books in this series and anything else this author writes.

Pretty good actually!
What started as a weird book of a hero with a shoe fetish turned out to be a fun read.
Nicholas, the super manwhore playboy loves women and strippers. When his best friends Adam and Hunter gift him a strip joint trip on his birthday, he "meets" Cinderella and is enchanted by her.
Emma is working hard to making ends meet for herself and her sister Bella. When apart from strip joint she starts working as a maid, she meets her master Nicholas and sparks fly.
The story is pretty sweet, sex scenes well written, and there's a minor villain in form of her stepsister Claire.
I felt the author was confused about the dad (on one hand he's the bad guy forcing a marriage, on other he was the best husband to his wife?)
Anyways, enjoyed the Cinderella/ Maid dilemma (very mills and booney)

He has a strange thing for women in stiletto shoes. As a birthday celebration, his friends take him for a private show with Cinderella. Wow instant chemistry. He wants her like he has never wanted another woman, except for that stripper Cinderella that he can’t seem to stay away from. The chemistry is hot and intense. This is a shorter story and has a quick pace. Fairytale ending, melt, melt. Not much in the way of character development, but Nicholas does grow in the story.

In the span of three weeks his world has gone from uncomplicated, to very fucking complicated.
My Review:
Stiletto Secrets has a fairy tale twist to a Cinderella story and I was caught up in the romance from the beginning. The characters are perfect, you have your gorgeous millionaire playboy bachelor, your strong heroine, the trust-worthy friends, the younger sister and your evil villains. I found myself lost in the romance, the passion and will good win over evil story line.
Nicholas Blake is every woman's dream and he knows it, he doesn't mind having any woman and flaunting it in front of his father. He may not live up to his father's expectations and he may never but that's not a bad thing. Nicholas finds himself captivated by a beautiful stripper named Cinderella that he meets on his birthday outing with his friends. Everything changes for Nicholas when he meets the new maid Emma, he is drawn to her like a magnet and can't think of anything but her in his arms and bed. Will his infatuation with Cinderella ruin his relationship with Emma?
Emma and her sister's life changes after their fathers death, they are left to continue life without him. Emma takes on the responsibility of providing and seeing that her younger sisters dream with school and having a career come true. She is willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen, Emma accepts a job as a maid while trying to keep her weekend night job a secret. That becomes a challenge when she comes face to face with Nicholas the man she has not been able to keep her mind off of. With someone from her past trying to destroy the growing relationship with Nicholas will Emma still be able to hold on to the man she loves and the secret that could destroy them?
Stiletto Secrets is swoon worthy and has the passion that's so steamy it left me flustered, I loved everything about it. I am pretty sure this is my first Bella J read and it's definitely not going to be my last.

Five Fairy Tale Stars! Emma is working on Saturday night at the strip club and Monday through Friday at the Blake mansion as a maid to help her sister through law school. Nicholas goes to the strip club and gets a dance from Emma, he is enthralled by her, but since he was blindfolded he did not know what she looked like. On Monday he meets Emma and feels something familiar about her. Nicholas and Emma have instant chemistry but he can't forget Cinderella aka Emma's name at the strip club. Will Nicholas jeopardize his relationship with Emma because he still can't forget Cinderella and will he figure out that Emma is Cinderella before it is to late? This book is a modern day twist of the Cinderella story and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The author writes a fantastic story of romance, humor, and angst that kept me wanting more! This is an enjoyable story and one you don't want to miss out on! Highly recommend!

Full of emotion, angst, humour and a twist that you didn’t see coming I found myself being pulled in by Bella’s writing and storyline. From the very start I literally flew through the pages until the very end…and even then I was left wanting more.
The ending rounded off the book perfectly and I wait with baited breath for the next book in this beautifully alluring series.

I was so excited to read this book. The idea of modern day fairytales grabbed me! This book exceeded my expectations. I'm glad this is a series and I can't wait for more! Me Likey the Book!!

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Nicholas Blake is a spoiled rich boy. He loves getting what he wants. His best friends gifted him on his birthday one session with Cinderella, a stripper that dances in a private room only a couple days a week. He has a fetish for shoes, and apparently a lot of men do, she has three choose for men, or all at once. He immediately was captivated by her even though he didn’t see her.
Emma works as a maid for Nicholas’s father. One one accident Nicholas helps her, she recognizes him as her client. She was instantly captivated by him. He can need know the truth. She works as a stripper and now a maid, to support her sister Bella, and herself. She didn’t realise that her side job as a stripper will entice her to her sensuality and desires.
With Nicholas confused and torn between his feelings for two women, will he realise the truth before it’s too late or will he remain oblivious? I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a modern retelling of a Cinderella, billionaire romance then you’re going to love it.

Fairytale meets modern. In this case it's the fairytale of Cinderella which gets a very hot and passionate twist. The story starts with Nicholas the playboy who never brings the same girl back home. He along with his three friends are best of friends and lady charmers. So when his friends give him a birthday gift in the form of Cinderella themed lap dance with a stripper, never had he thought that she would occupy his mind completely. Cinderella consumes his mind. Then there is Emma, the new maid, who enchants him and makes him fall madly in love. But yet whenever he's with Emma, he's unable to get Cinderella out of his mind. Emma on the other hand, I loved her. She's such a wonderful soul, sacrificing her life goals for family. The passion building between will have you gasping. My Favorite part undoubtedly is when the four of them, Nicholas and his friends Hunter and Adam along with Emma go to a pub and when Emma loses a wager with Adam, she has to let Nicholas do a body shot off her. That's like the hottest body shot scene. This story enchanted me and I loved it 💖 10+ stars.

It was a 1 day read. It was good. I love the banter between Nickolas & his 2 buddies. Emma is a great sister willing to do anything for her baby sister to go to college. I think I might would have enjoyed an epilogue a yr or 2 down the line of a wedding, child birth or of Nickolas and his father's rekindled relationship. IDK

Different version of the fairy tail
This is a great read with Romance. Steamy parts are just right. I highly recommend this read to any fair tale readers or anyone just looking for something different than your regular mob, alpha billionaire book.

I really enjoyed the fairy tale twist on the story. It was a refreshing new read for me.
We meet Nicholas and Emma. Their story is told in alternating POV.
Emma is working as a stripper and a maid to help put her sister through law school.
Nicholas is the rich bachelor who does anything and everything to piss off his father.
“Being around you makes me feel different.”
When Nicholas goes to the strip club and has a private dance with “Cinderella” he can’t seem to get his mind off of her. Then he meets Emma, his father's maid and has an instant attraction to her as well.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot. He is so great with Emma and she fits in great with his friends. As Nicholas gets to know Emma better he struggles with his need to see “Cinderella”. What will Nicholas do when he finds out Emma’s secret?
“I would like to think that love exists without pain too.”
There are a few twists and secrets revealed that make you wonder how things will go. You can’t help but root for the HEA for these two. The ending was great, I love how everything was revealed. Bella J. really pulled me in with her writing and I have to say again that I really enjoyed this read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

I absolutely love modern day twists on fairy tales, and this story was one that I loved from start to finish. Stiletto Secrets was full of steamy sex, intrigue, angst, humor, and above all, a beautiful love story. With fantastic writing and a storyline that drew me in, I found myself finishing this book in one sitting.
The author did a wonderful job with the characters of this story, each one with their own unique characteristics that had me wanting to learn more about them. Nicholas is filthy rich, arrogant, has the world at his feet, and is a complete manwhore. His perfect existence is thrown off axis when he encounters not one, but two intriguing women who knock him off his feet. Then you have Emma, someone who was dealt a crappy hand in life, and does what she has to in order to support herself and her younger sister, Lizzy. I absolutely loved Emma's character. She didn't allow herself to be beaten down by life, and her and protectiveness over her sister was so admirable. Instead of wallowing in grief, she remained strong and found a way to keep the both of them above water. The character development was terrific, and
as a reader I felt for Emma and Nicholas and their individual struggles.
The supporting characters in the story were great too. I loved Hunter and Adam, Nicholas' closest friends, who had a great dynamic together. Pretty much every scene that Adam was in had me laughing at loud at his antics and the things that would come out of his mouth. Lizzy was wonderful too, and the close bond that she shared with Emma really was a great one, considering their difficult past and the heartache that they had gone through since they were kids.
I loved the unique quality of the storyline, and that is what kept me hooked while reading. It was evenly balanced with emotion and sexual energy, and much like Nicholas, I found myself being enjoying his encounters with Emma as much as I enjoyed the ones with the mysterious stripper. Nicholas' encounters with the dancer he meets in a strip club are brimming with sexual tension. He finds himself drawn to her and the mystery surrounding her, so much so that he keeps coming back for more. This woman turns him on like no other, and he finds that he cant get enough of her presence. As the same time, he finds himself pulling closer to the sweet and beautiful Emma and wanting to get to know her, which is something completely out of character for him, a self-proclaimed womanizer. I loved the scenes with the two of them. These were two individuals who were leading vastly different lives. While Emma struggles for survival, Nicholas has everything handed to him on a sliver platter, yet the two of them bonded almost instantaneously. As feelings began to intensify and hidden truths begin to fester, all the players involved in the story find themselves caught in a tangled web that threatens their future.
The way the author wrapped up the story was brilliant. The ending couldn't have been more perfect. I cannot wait for the rest of the books in this series. This author has serious talent, and I look forward to seeing what she has in store for her readers next.

This is my first Bella J book and I absolutely loved her take on the Cinderella story! Nicholas is the prince of all he rules. He is a renowned architect, wealthy, devastatingly handsome. His life is filled with luxury cars and supermodel women. His life is perfect. It is his birthday and his friend Adam has a surprise for him. At a strip club, he has a private session with a stripper named Cinderella. He is mesmerized by her immediately even though he is blindfolded. The sexual chemistry is explosive! Her sexy stiletto shoes, which he has a fascination with, enthrall him. He cannot get her out of his mind!
Emma and her sister Lizzy live in a small apartment barely getting by. Emma has sacrificed everything so that Lizzy can attend Law School, working as a stripper to make ends meet. It's not enough so she gets another job as a maid to a very wealthy family. She meets the son, Nicholas, on her first day. She immediately remembers him as Mr. Blake, the gorgeous man she had a private session with while she was Cinderella. Of course he does not recognize her as he was blindfolded.
Nicholas and Emma fall in love quickly, but he also cannot get over the sexual pull he feels towards Cinderella.

Ok I don’t know what to say. Stiletto Secrets is simply amazing. If you enjoyed Cinderella you will not be able to get enough of Stiletto Secrets. The way this book brings Cinderella to life was a creative art in itself. The description is very fitting. “FAIRY TALE BASTARDS” it was truly a fairytale well at least you will think it is whiling reading. This book didn’t waste any time with the twists and turns. I would say that the 1st twist took me by surprise. On top of that it had plenty of belly deep laughing moments. I can honestly say I was fully entertained throughout this story.
Nicholas Nicholas Nicholas what can I say about him beside he is rich, cocky, and full of himself, who enjoy himself to the fullest. He has the world is mine attitude. He also have two best friends who he share a birthday tradition with Adam and Hunter. What he didn’t know was after having the time of his life for his birthday he would walk away with an obsession with a stripper better known as Cinderella. To make matters worse his father hires a new maid Emma. Which confuses Nicholas because he never wanted any sort of relationship until he meets Cinderella and now that Emma is in the picture he’s going out of his mind with want, or should I say wanting both of them.
Emma is sweet, kind, and loving, and strong woman that is doing her best to help her sister through law school. She is the kind of girl that enjoys life and makes the best out of whatever life has to offer. When she meets Nicholas' she is attracted to him but doesn’t trust his knowing that he is known for being a player. Not wanting to take a chance with her feeling and the job that she needs to care for her sister she is at a lost because the chemistry they share is undeniable.
I really enjoyed reading this story and getting to know characters in a whole. Even the secondary characters played a great part, which leaves me waiting on the books to following in this series. Ohhhhh I loved this book. It's funny, doesn't take its self seriously. Take the story of Cinderella - make her a lap dancer and a maid to a multi millionaire with a fetish for stripper heels. And boom you have Stiletto Secrets!
Emma ' s father remarried to a wicked stepmother. Father dies, all the money goes to wicked step mother. Emma and her younger sister are the left pennyless. Emma takes on two jobs to help pay for her sisters university fees. The first is a lap dancer under the name of Cinderella and the second is as a maid at Nicholas Blake ' s fathers house. To celebrate his birthday he is take to "Twisted Fable", where he has a very special lap dance by Cinderella. Blindfolded and cuffed to a chair he can only smell and feel Cinderella. But this is enough to be burned in to his mind. Ohhhhh my was it burned.... *gulp*. We jump to Emma ' s first day as a maid, Nicholas is drawn to the shy maid. With her help he sets about fighting off the advances of Claire, a woman determined to get her hands on Nicholas' gold. Nicholas and Emma start to feel the sexual chemistry between them but Nicholas can't forget Cinderella. Can he fall in love with Emma and still want Cinders!!!.
I love Bella J's style. It's light hearted, funny and you get the feeling she's having fun writing. I've read many twists on fairy tales and this is up there with the best. It's not a long read but very worth it. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for fun book with a sexy man in it - and who wouldn't.

I love Bella J's style. It's light hearted, funny and you get the feeling she's having fun writing. I've read many twists on fairy tales and this is up there with the best. It's not a long read but very worth it. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for fun book with a sexy man in it - and who wouldn't.

Emma is doing everything she can to support herself and to keep her little sister in law school. Working at the strip club and being a maid at the Blake estate has her barley surviving. She is the Cinderella in Cinderella's Booth and Mr Blake has really affected her. Imagine her surprise when she sees him the next Monday at the Blake estate where she just started working as a maid.
Can these two have the fairytale ending neither knows they want?
I really really enjoyed this book. Blake is a playboy if ever there has been one. He has no intention of settling down but Cinderella really cranked his tractor. Underneath it all though Blake is a really good guy A guy any girl would be lucky to have. Emma is a strong female character. She's been handed a really crappy hand in the game of life and just needs to survive. Blake has no idea that Cinderella and Emma are one and the same. This is a tale of true love. Of how the heart wants what it wants with a huge deception thrown in that will have you guessing.
Once again Bella J has written an amazing book. A must read. She's quickly becoming one of my favorite new romance authors.

HOT! SEXY! CINDERELLA AND PRINCE CHARMING ON ECSTASY!
Bella J. Bella J done it again! I just love her writing as it captures you at the very beginning and has you wanting more at the end. I literally read this book in a few hours because I could not put it down.
So everyone knows the fairytale of Cinderella so you should quickly grasp the concept of the book. However, it's much, much better than your wildest fantasy. Emma was so endearing, down on her luck, taking care of her younger sister as she was in law school. Working two jobs to make her sister's dreams come true she encounters Nicholas Blake, a modern day Prince Charming that comes along (pun intended) with a shoe fetish, it is Cinderella after all.
These two have enough electricity to light up Times Square on New Year's Eve.
Maid by day and stripper by night, Emma holds close to her secret from Nicholas thinking she just isn't good enough for him and she may not be what he wants. When the evil step sister makes an appearance thinks get tricky as secrets are discovered by others.
In true fairytale fashion, the Prince gets his Princess but this story definitely puts an erotic twist on a classic story that will have you enchanted the entire time.

A Cinderella story for grown-ups. This was so much fun to read. The suspense as the passion built slowly between Nicholas and Emma is something this author excels at. That alone will make you want to read this. Bella J can create just as much fodder for the imagination (if not more) without the level of description many authors use during sexy times. That is one reason I love reading her books. It is all writing skill that hooks you and draws you in.
Emma is a daughter of an engineering tycoon who remarried when she was 9 and died several years later. Her step mother and step sister took everything, leaving her and her sister with barely enough to live off never mind college while the step monsters live in a mansion and attend lavish parties. So Emma gives up her future and takes a job as a maid at Nicholas's father's mansion as well as another job no one knows about. Nicholas can't know about that job. It would ruin her. But how can she keep this secret from this man she is falling in love with? How can they be together, the rich heir and the maid? There is a lot of soul searching in this book as well as many fun references to a favourite fairy tale.

Definitely not my type of read, but totally amazing! I couldn't put it down. The story of Cinderella/Emma and Nicholas Blake was funny, sincere, sad, loving, primal, and well worth reading.
Goin to a strip club for his birthday, Nicholas has no odea what was instore for him. Blindfolded and bound, he gets the dance of his life. A few days later a new maid starts at his home and he is in awe of her.
Emma starts her new job as a maid in a mansion of all places, but she does what she needs to do to help put her sister through law school. The job being Monday through Friday works perfect for her, since she does have another job on Saturday nights. Walking through the big home, she stumbles upon Nicholas and his father having an argument, when Nicholas turns around, she drops the tray with coffee and the cups on the floor. Could it be him from Saturday night? As Emma is getting yelled at by Mr. Blake himself, Nicholas is helping her to try to clean things up and sees she is bleeding. He takes care of her wound and tells her not to worry about his father. There is something about her that seems familiar, but he can't quite figure it out. This story will have you laughing out loud and make you want to cry or just yell at the characters.

Now this is a fairy tale you can sink your teeth into. I Love Cinderella, she is my favorite princess of all, but this story is the kind that I would love to see on the big screen. Not the Cinderella that is weak and can't take care waiting for the man to rescue her. NO the Cinderella that takes charge and does what is needed to take care of her sister after having lost her father to Lillian Tremaine.

FIVE STILETTO STARS for Bella J
This modern day version of Cinderella had me up late and flying through pages. It was sexy and unique, even with the spin on a fairy tale. I loved the interactions between characters, the sexy and oh so the yummy Nicholas. Who is in a tie with Knox right now.
The angst between Nicholas and Emma, will leave an ache in your core.
"I have no idea what's happening." He sounded pained, tormented, and Emma struggled to swallow. His gaze dropped from her eyes to her lips, and then back up again. "It's scaring the shit out of me."
I blew through this read and I couldn't wait to see how things unfolded. I had my reservations I don't like men who go back and forth, but in this book, Nicholas had me hooked after the first encounter. He is seriously sexy. Ladies you're going to love Nicholas.
Bella J did a great job building characters you will love. Enjoy the show, because I saw this play out like a movie.
