"'Give me your eyes, beautiful...'
'I've been breathing easy...'
'Colton.'
'This is us getting along,' July says, and SHE'S NOT WRONG.
'Too tired to sit on my face?'

“You don’t understand that it’s impossible for me to breathe without you.”

"Nothing sweeter than her, fucking nothing.

"Some memories have the ability to heal, the ability to light up the dark, because the beauty of the memory is so bright, you're still able to bask in it."June's life has been thrown into a tailspin. After breaking up with her boyfriend, she finds herself in the police station under allegations of being an accessory to some crimes. After convincing the law that she is innocent, she returns home to the haven of her family. Now under the protection of her loving family, she is assigned a bodyguard. Unfortunately for June, this bodyguard is her secret ex-husband and the only man she has ever loved.
"You don't get to do this to me again."

"But the memories of us are killing me slowly. They remind me that for one moment, I had everything, while reminding me it's gone."Evan is dying inside that he is in the same physical proximity of June, but he can't grab her and claim her as his. After serving in the military, Evan faced demons and convinced himself the only way to keep June clean from his dirty past would be to let her go. Now being back in her space, he is questioning his choices and hoping there might be a chance to get her back. With June's hesitancy to give herself back to him, Evan's insecurities, and the fact that NO ONE knows about their sordid past, Until June is one read that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!
"Love is never stupid. It's beautiful and consuming, and we don't always have the ability to fight it when it happens."

"Moving my hand to the back of her neck, I hold her shoulders down to the bed then fuck her like a mad man, so hard that the headboard bangs loudly against the wall and the picture above the bed rattles."Told in dual POV, Until June was practically perfect! The characters are complex, and their journey of coming back together was full of steam, heartbreak, and joy. Evan is quite "the man" in the bedroom, and he keeps June panting the through every single sexy moment. The family bonds are unbreakable, and the importance of family is one of my favorite elements in this entire series. The Reynolds formula has and always been a winner for me. Her heroes are passionate about protecting their women, they are dominant in the bedroom, and there is always mayhem and bedlam in the mix that the couple must overcome together!!! I love that I can pick up one of her books and know with certainty that I will lavish in every single second.

When I was with him, I knew it was where I belonged. Right down to my bones, I knew that, I was meant to be his and he was meant to be mine.
She wasn’t important— she was fucking vital, the best thing that ever happened to me. But then I had to let her go so my fucked up didn’t ruin her.
“I love you,” he says gently, running his fingers along my hairline. “Never going to stop loving you, baby.”
“Ev,” I breathe, feeling tears burn my throat.
“I’ll wait for you to find it again. I’d wait forever for you.”
“You’re mine. I mean that in the most fucked-up, primal way possible. If it were legal to own you, I would.”
“I love you, more than anything in this world, and nothing will ever change that.” He kisses my forehead then leans back, catching my eyes again. “If you need someone to talk to, I’m here, and if not, your mom doesn’t love you as much as I do, but I’m sure she’d hear you out too.”
