A good place to start

This book is great for someone totally unexposed to the idea of creating a bail out bag. Good general information to consider and a very basic listing of some things to put in the bag. Don’t expect a punch list of brand name stuff suggested because it’s not in there. However, armed with the basic concepts in this book, going online and finding a list of brand name suggestions is easily done now that you know what your looking for.

Great resource for newcomers

I think this is a great book for those looking for a starting point in SHTF preparation. I think the authors could have gone into greater detail in some areas (fire, water purification systems, lightweight food, etc) but that's just a personal opinion.
