I was lucky enough to receive a ARC copy of Lucky Me by Kelly Moran in the Getting Lucky Anthology, for my honest review.
Weather you believe in curses or love at first sight, after reading Lucky Me, you WILL believe. For the past one-hundred years, bad things happen if they fall in love and with the Declan O’Leary’s family is cursed you do not know what is going to happen.
I loved this book just like all of Kelly's book . In this book there are so many emotions that will bring you to tears while reading those emotions as the story unfolds. You never know if the family curse will break them or if they will back the curse. This a must read book I don't want to give to much away but I couldn't put it down. 5 star's

I was lucky enough to get a chance to read Lucky Me By Kelly Moran early and I loved it so much the story was about Declan and Lily . Declan family has dealt with a terrible curse for many many many years the curse is that every male in his family gets screwed over when it come to love , so he is not really a relationship man but then meets lily and thats where story takes of it was steamy, it sweet, it was emotional and funny at some parts . Everything i wanted from this novella wrapped up with a happy ending . So when i hear about blind luck I was very thrilled to get this book!!! kelly moran writes such good books !!!

This review is based on Lucky Me. I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review. The story is intriguing and sexy with incredible characters and a nice easy flow to the story. Looking forward to reading Aidan's story next!
Declan O'Leary is mesmerized by Lily Durand but he knows he can't have her in his life for long. You see his family is cursed! Bad things happen when they fall in love. So he's convinced her to give him one week. One amazing week and then he has to walk away. Can he do it???

I received a copy of Lucky Me from Kelly Moran. As always Kelly didn't let me down and wrote an awesome novella. Declan kept meeting up with Lily in different places in his life but he couldn't fall in love due to the family curse! Lily wanted to find adventure and turned to Declan for it. Lucky Me was a quick read but very enjoyable and fun story!

Maybe a little Irish luck had something to do with Declan O'Leary and Lily Durand finally meeting after all the run ins they'd had over the last 9 months. Declan was already a little in love or lust by the time he finally got to introduce himself to the most beautiful and mesmerizing women he'd ever met. But because of the family curse, Declan knew it could never last so he put a week's time limit on their spending time together. Then they'd just go their separate way. What he didn't plan on was falling in love with her more each day. Was there a way to end the curse and find his happily ever after?

I have to say I love anything that includes Irish luck, or in this case an Irish curse. Declan's family has been cursed many many years, and he just wants to love and be loved without death happening. Chance has it where he sees a redheaded woman who claims his thoughts. Sees her several more times before he will actually have the pleasure of spending time with. Lily, who has decided to live life without regrets, decides to take Declan up on a interesting offer of spending a week at his place. No strings attached, or will there be? The friendship they develop turns into something more. But, alas love brings heartache and neither will risk it will they? A must read for anyone who has loved, lost and believes in luck and curses. 5/5 cross posting to My Reading reality .

This short story was well written, the story flows. The characters are lovable, and grip you from page one. You get to know the characters pretty well with it being a short story. I need more of the characters.
Declan O'Leary's family is cursed. Declan doesnt want to get to close to anyone but when he first sees a lady at the park, he wants to meet her, wants to know her, he wants her.
Lily Durand is the lady from the park.
When Declan finally gets to talk to her at the pub, he tells her to meet him at his place. They decide on a week long fing.. NO feeling, No Strings. Since the O'Leary Family is cursed, it can't be more than the week.
Will they be able to stick to the no Feelings, No falling rules they set? Or will they find a way to break the curse.
I look forward to reading other short stories in this set once it releases.

I received this for signing up to the newsletter. Whether you believe in curses or love at first sight after reading Lucky Me you will believe. A short story about love between two people that see each other in passing and as fate has it continue to run into each other periodically until they finally decide to get together. Declan is afraid to love for fear of losing her due to an old Irish family curse,Lily is a lost soul tired of living a somewhat boring life. Together they open up to each other and learn how to love and be loved, their bond grows stronger and feelings grow. When Lily presents the opportunity to break the curse will Declan accept....... Can this risky gift finally break the O'Leary spell......... a great story that leaves you wanting more.

Declan O'Leary believes in the family curse. He knows that if he falls in love his woman will pay the price which explains his playboy lifestyle. Now he has a problem, he's found the one he wants to spend his life with. Does he dare take a chance? Declan falls hard. He's attracted immediately to the beautiful Lily. I enjoyed their witty dialogue and their amazing chemistry, but I was completely hooked when I saw them open up and share their past with each other. Their love made me care about their future and desire a HEA. Kelly Moran is an exceptional author. She writes passionate characters that Bring a smile to my face. Lucky Me is a sensual and moving novel.

Declan and his family have been dealing with an Irish curse for over 100 years, hence why he’s avoided any kind of relationship. When he sees a woman on a bench one day, he’s dumbstruck, but loses track of her. He sees her a few months later and she pulls another disappearing act. Yet another few months pass and he’s finally able to corner her and convince him to give her a night…
This story was really short and hot. The beauty of this story is the belief in kismet, serendipity, and good old Irish curses. I really enjoyed watching Declan lose his heart. I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this quick read. Declan is a hottie, who has the demons of his family's past stacked against his relationships with women in his life. Lily was an awesome heroine. Definitely had a bit of a kick butt side, thrown in with a side of every guys fantasy. The chemistry between the two was intense, and the story had me in tears at certain times.
A phenomenal quick read that I would definitely suggest reading!!!

When Declan spots Lily on a bench he can't get her out of his thoughts. Finally having a chance to talk with her he makes a deal with her for the week.
As their time together reaches the end they struggle with a choice that could mean a future together or the curse striking once again.

I received an arc of Lucky me by Kelly Moran. This story is amazing. I couldn't put it down. I loved getting to know these characters. For a short story there is enough information on the characters that you get to know them pretty well. I didn't want this book to end.

I really enjoyed Aiden in the the first story and wanted to see what happens with him and the family curse. His brother Declan seemed to break the family curse when he meet Lily so he decided to take chance. He lost his first wife and is raising his son with a nanny. A nanny that he wants to take a chance with. Sierra and Aiden have a lot more at stake than his brother so this made the story all the more interesting. Just another fantastic short story. These were some awesome reads that I really enjoyed. Both of these stories grabbed me and I could not get enough of it. They moved along at great paces and both of them will keep you interested and entertained from beginning to end. These must be read.

I love Kelly Moran's books, so I was excited to read this novella. Declan O'Leary's family has been cursed for 100 years...so he avoids any kind of romantic relationship with women, but that doesn't stop him from having hot sex with them. Put one fateful day it, Declan begins seeing a beautiful woman everywhere he goes. When he goes to find her, she always seem to disappear into thin air. Then she appears in his brother's bar and he has to talk to her, although he's only looking for a one night stand.
Lily Durand is not a "one night stand" kind of girl, but she is trying to make some changes in her life, "live a little" and "not play things so safe" after a tragic loss. She wants to experiment sexually and she believes Declan is the man for the job, no strings attached.
You won't want to miss what happens during this one week they have together. It's hot, sweet, intense and full of surprises!

I was lucky enough to receive a complimentary copy of Lucky Me by Kelly Moran in the Getting Lucky Anthology, for my honest review. As always Kelly Moran does it again, I love every book I have read by her. She has became my favorite go to author. This story is no different has everything you want in a book, love, very hot, fun, exciting and the characters are very lovable. DeClan has a been cursed from love and Lily has a past of her own. These two decide to spend a week together with no strings attached, can they do it without string, you have to read it to find out. This is a must read boxed set, if the rest are as good as Kelly's you will not want to miss it.

Kelly Moran has written some very heartwarming, extremely compelling books. Unfortunately, the novellas in Sheer Luck neither warmed my heart or compelled me to get lost in the stories.
In fact, I was so excited to read Sheer Luck, only to go mark them as “Currently Reading” on Goodreads and discover I’ve previously read the first story, yet had no recollection of doing so. It was four years - and over 600 books - ago, so it’s understandable that I might not remember everything about the story. But usually rereading my review will help spark my memory.
It did not.
And neither did rereading the story.
Lucky Me had an arrogant hero I didn’t care for, and the whole “can’t be with her because of the curse” schtick didn’t work for me. I stand by my original rating of two stars for the first novella in the Sheer Luck duet.
Blind Luck was marginally better. We still have the silly curse as a major storyline, and it’s always frustrating when characters just won’t have an honest freaking conversation. But that still doesn’t leave me with much to recommend this book, especially since the couple had been pining for each other for so freaking long.
I really wanted to like these novellas. Sadly, I did not. I can’t think of any other author whose writing finds me with such polarized opinions. I really, really liked Ms. Moran’s Covington Cove series and Cattenach Ranch series, but her other books have left me feeling out of luck.

I could not wait to read Aiden's story! After getting a glimpse of him in Lucky Me, I knew he deserved his own happily ever after. Sierra is his perfect fit. This was a great story and I couldn't be happier with how it was told!!

Lucky ME - I LOVED this book! Declan O'Leary's family has been cursed in love. Some with divorces and more tragically, in death. When Declan sees Lily across a park, he knows he is doomed. Lily Durand evades Declan more than once. But once Declan finds her in his brother's pub and finally speaks to her, there is no going back. Declan tries to keep Lily at a safe distance for her sake. Maybe Lily can break this curse?? This is a great novella! The characters are complex and the steam is STEAMY!!

You need to read about the O'Leary Brothers. One has one night stands and the other avoids women due to a family curse.
Declan has a chance meeting with a women who catches his attention. When she walks into his brothers bar they agree for seven days with no strings attached. Will it really be that easy?
Aiden has vowed off relationships and attends to his bar while raising his son. He has feelings for his nanny but that horrible O'Leary curse has him denying his feelings. Can he find love?
These were short stories but the characters will draw you in and make you fall in love with them. II kept reading and hoping for a HEA.

If you like some very sexy Irish boys...this is a good set of novellas for you.

Sadly after the death of Aiden's wife the brothers have lived a life without falling in love with a woman.
Declan meets and instantly falls for Lily who is trying to be more adventurous after tragidy hit her the previous year she gives him her love and her luck and the curse is broken or so they thought.
Aidens life consist of working and bringing up his son with the help of Sierra who is has secretly had the hots for.
Very well written love stories!

I loved Declan and Aiden. Both are strong and confident without being cocky. You don't get very many stories from the man's pov so it's always refreshing when you do. The chemistry is hot and you can feel the connections between couples. I definitely recommend this one.
