Liam O’Reilly doesn’t trust anyone, not even his own mother. With good reason too, because he finds out his mother and stepfather pay to have his brother kidnapped and held against his will. Now, all Liam O'Reilly wants to do is save his brother from the people who are hunting him and get them both out of a very messed up situation. He thinks calling the police will help, but it turns out they are the enemy. When the police who are supposed to protect him throw him in the jail instead, he thinks all hope is lost, until a man named Wolf shows up. Liam isn’t sure if Wolf is his rescuer or just another bad guy. He can’t trust anyone.

Living in Southwest Michigan, April resides with her husband and two kids. She has been an avid reader for several years. Writing her first story at the age of ten, the characters in her head still won't stop telling their stories. If April isn't reading or writing she can be found outside playing with the animals or taking a long walk in the woods.

4.5 Heart Review by Tammy

Liam O’Reilly is getting more worried about his younger brother with every day that passes with n word from Finn. When he speaks to his mother he realises his step-father has convinced her to go along with the ludicrous reform place or “pray the gay away” plan for Finn. Just because Finn is a bit of a playboy it doesn’t mean he’s a whore! The deeper Liam gets in the world of sex-slaves and human trafficking the more he realises he’ll be lucky to see Finn alive.

Spencer ‘Wolf’ Ross is a member of Demon Elite a private protection agency formally a government agency. Demon Elite has made it their mission to bring down the human trafficking, sex-slave rings in America. Their latest assignment has them rescuing Finnegan O’Reilly younger brother of Liam. When Wolf discovers that Liam has disappeared he makes it his mission to save him. The deeper they look the more people they thought they could trust are the very ones who are running the sex-slave and trafficking rings.

After Liam is rescued he is taken to Finn and they both decide to do whatever they can to help the men of Demon Elite destroy the human trafficking ring. As Liam is the only one who has actually seen and heard the ring leader he has to stay in protective custody which he doesn’t mind in the least because Wolf is the one doing the protecting. The longer they’re together the deeper they fall in love with each other. Liam discovers the family he’s always wanted but never had and Wolf finds the one person he can let his guard down with and just be himself.

It’s not easy but both Liam and Wolf decide that the other is worth putting in the hard yards to get their forever! Demon Elite is an off-shoot of April’s Lake House Security series and you continue to catch up with all of the MC’s from Lake House. I can’t wait for the next Demon Elite instalment.

3.5 stars. I liked this a lot but not near as much as the first one. I'm really looking forward to Finn's story!
