Suspenseful, exciting, and thrilling. This is such a fun read! I blew through it in a matter of hours. A must read. You won't be disappointed! I cannot wait to read the next Jake Wood book.
I discovered Mr. Saul's works accidentally. I read his name incorrectly and thought that another of my favorite authors finally put out a new book. I was so excited. When the book finished downloading I read the author's name correctly. My knee jerk reaction was "What the.........?" I was annoyed with myself for my mistake. It turned out to be the best mistake I have made in a long long time. I'm now a huge fan. I have read everything he has written. I will continue to read everything he writes. Do yourself a favor; download this now.

Warning. Sleep deprivation a certainty.
Having discovered and loved Sarah Roberts, I thought I'd give Jake a whirl. I curled up in bed excited to enter a new world. I liked Jake and his partner, lovely gentle pace to start, a building of characters, moulding of narrative. Then the story starts, quickly. The bad guy is BAD. Not just his crime but his reason. Needless to say,my eyes got bigger, the quilt got higher, the hour later. The story develops at a steady pace, enough time to absorb the technical, believable medical science, but not to slow that you want to skip it. I really enjoyed this start to, hopefully, a new adventure, crime busting, series. Not your usual crime buster, but with a slight superhero twist.. Thanks Jonas...From the real Sarah Roberts.

jake
loved it would have Jake go back to more human can see as movie .I'm not interested in sex scenes so enjoyed not having to skip that to much. But hate hes becoming another super hero type.I liked the idea of supers sence and snake qualities but would prefer to dial all the super stuff back

Jake the Snake
Jonas continues to think outside the box with the creation of this super human snake hybrid. Very imaginative and thrilling storyline. Jake going to give Sarah Roberts a run for her money !!! The good news we will get to read them both..... Thank you Jonas. Ronn Just Ronn

Different
This book was nothing like I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be a good snake horror story. But it wasn't really. It was more of a good verses evil story. Very good, but not like Jonas Saul's books.

Wow! What a GREAT read that was!!
If you're a true thrill seeker you definitely won't want to miss reading Jonas Saul's first Jake Wood novel. The twists and turns left me absolutely breathless from beginning to end. Jake is a kaleidoscope character who is easy to like, cheer for, and stress about as he hunts down the criminals even though his life has just gone into a tailspin.
Good job Jonas and thanks for another wonderful story.

The perfect beginning
The snake was everything and more for an introduction. I couldn't stop reading. The characters and chemistry between each one fits perfectly. You will get excited, you will get nervous, and eventually you will find yourself wanting more. I can't Wait to get lost in the action on the next aventure. Thanks Jonas.
