The first time I met Billy Taylor, we came thisclose to having sex in the parking lot of a bar.
I was upset, okay? I'd just dumped my lying, cheating boyfriend.

A sweet stepbrother romance that takes the “taboo” right out of it. For those who don’t like a lot of smutty romance this is one that would fit the bill with only a little smut. Perfect was a tender hearted romance that had the guy as one of the really good guys that you wished all good things for. Perfect seemed just that…perfect with the right amount of romance that pulled two really good people together.

I want a mammoth cowboy wanting my attention!!!!
Ms Brothers did it again!!! I loved this cowboy/step-brother romance!!!! I loved how Billy knew what he wanted and did not go for anything less!!
Kate is an event organizer, a total city girl. She has a boyfriend with whom she thinks will pop the question. That is until she gets off early from work one day and plans to surprise him early at the bar he and his co-workers hangout...she gets a shock to her system!!! Luckily she quietly retreats and decides to head out to her mother's boyfriend's ranch early, therefore avoiding the planned dinner she was to have with her boyfriend. She stops at a bar/restaurant not too far from the ranch, to clear her head and grab a drink to fortify her from any emotional outbursts. One drink was all it took for her to loosen up just enough to make out with a hot Monmouth cowboy. Though it wasn't completely enough for her reasoning to completely abandon her.
Billy is the hot mammoth cowboy with whom Kate makes out with then runs from. What she doesn't know is that he is also the elder son of her mother's boyfriend, and he knew who she is when he approached her!! Though he loves to tease her, he is always the gentleman that he was raised to be. When Kate spots him the next morning walking in with his dad, she is fuming and so very happy she didn't take it further than a scorching kiss.
There is a connection between them that they both feel, though only one wants and acknowledges. To make things worse Kate's ex pops out to the ranch and flatters her with his BS which she believes. She doesn't fully trust him but doesn't know why she keeps him at an arms length. Well the reason is provided on the day of her mother's wedding!!!! Thank goodness her eyes were fully opened and I love what she did. I have to say that after that I thought things would go smoothly with her and Billy, but she had to be the kind of female I despise...a total tease!!!
Again I lived Billy's character, he was not the usual man-whore, he actually showed some more depth. This was a short but cute romance with one hot and steamy sexual scene. I would recommend this book to all those over 18 y/o.

If you're looking for a book that is good, fast, steamy, romantic with some haughty thrown in, Perfect by Stephanie Brother is the book for you.

Taboo: Stepsiblings
I received this book as a Freebie with a 2 for 1 deal on a Sephanie Brother set. The first book was mediocre, but this one was a pleasant surprise!
The lust was immediate, but the sweet romance built over time. Kate and Billy become step siblings when their parent's get married. They get to know each other over the month or wedding planning before they fall into bed and decide their relationship, although taboo, is worth it.
It was the "Perfect" sweet story that I was looking for with a believable steamy sex scene thrown in to keep you on your toes.

just meh
First off I hate stories that only have the pov of one of the two main characters. A story can be so captivating, intriguing, and deep when it’s written as such.
Second the story was short and seemed rushed. Jumping back to my first point, had this story been a two pov it would not have had those issues.

This book deserves a 5 star rating because it pulls at your heart strings. It's sweet yet dramatic. I lived this one. You should also read speed by her It's a great read as well.

I love Billy
Usually I am empathetic with the girl but this time I wanted to slap her silly and I was Team Billy from the beginning. Kate is just so .... ugh! I’m glad Billy was able to find a way to get things back on track towards the end. I love Billy.

I know it's a tiny book, but she was just dumb. She knew what she seen. They weren't related. She seemed super immature. I wouldn't really recommend unless you want to kill some time. On to the next!

I enjoyed this short story. I wish it was much longer though. 80 couple pages wasn’t enough. It took a little over 3 hours to read this.

When Kate finds her boyfriend cheating on her she runs to her mom whose living with her boyfriend in the country. On the way there she stops at a bar/restaurant for a drink, meets a man and sparks fly. After coming to her senses before almost having sex in the parking lot with the hot stranger, she gets back on the road to her mothers. Once there she finally gets to meet her mother's boyfriends sons and the oldest is none other then the hot stranger. Sparks fly yet again and they both get the news. Their parents are getting married. Can they overcome their attraction for each other or will the heat of the summer consume both of them?
Another hot read from Stephanie. It was quick but hot. Definitely recommend if your looking for a quick steamy read. Besides who doesnt love a good hearted sexy cowboy?

Billy knew about her and their attraction is undeniable. It's sweet the relationship they have.
What I couldn't stand was that Kate's ex comes back and says she misunderstands so she takes him back! Only to find out later that he's a lying scumbag.

Clay is a jerk!
Another fabulous read from this author! Kate had a 10 month relationship with Clay, she catches him with another woman. Kate is going back to her moms house but stops at a bar she meets Billy. Not knowing he will be her step brother.

I liked the book, the tension between Kate and Billy, but would have liked if it were longer :) Ending was happily ever after!

This is a really good book but compared to some of Stephanie's other books i was left wanting in places
