This was a quick graphic novel read but good. Colonial Marines respond to a Weyland Yutani planet possibly being sacked by pirates. The corporation sends the marines into a hot zone. Predators use the planet, called Tartarus as a hunting preserve. The few people left have learned to not carry weapons and they will be left alone. Watched, but left alone. The marines lose several before finally killing a few Predators themselves. An alien ship is found also and the synthetic among the marines figures out how to make it lift off. The W-Y representative sent with the marines demands that the ship be taken back. This happens, but the Predators are on the marines the entire time. An accident occurs and a sarcophagus within the control room on the alien ship is shot, and an Engineer (Prometheus) is awakened. The book ends there and made me want more!
Really good writing and a raw, visceral art style make this a heck of a read!

Life as a Marine Never Gets Better

Book's alright. Creative and loads of those predatory creatures. Am having fun reading it through Kindle apps on my iPad Pro.
