From the Bushmen in Africa to high society in Egypt, from Morocco to the caves of ancient Jerusalem, Moghul India to Medieval France, we meet priests and priestesses, Swamis and monks, midwives and healers, medicine men and aristocrats as we discover the intriguing stories of two souls, and two intertwined destinies.
Kundun, a Tibetan Buddhist Monk, is traveling to meet a Druze Sheik in the hills of the Galilee in order to discuss their common interest in reincarnation.
Liora, a young Jewish woman on a dedicated spiritual quest, finds herself drawn into the ancient courtyard of a monastery in East Jerusalem where she spends her day awash with memories…..of this life, and surprisingly, her past lives.
By the time we have traveled with the two of them on a journey that transcends time and space, we have been taken on a wondrous adventure.
In the process we discover not only where their paths may lead, but the heartwarming wisdom of our own inner journey!

Jewels in the Net of the Gods is a magical, mystical read which will appeal to anyone interested in spiritual journeying! The writing is elegant and insightful and in addition to being a wonderfully woven tale, the novel is a delicious compendium of spiritual exploration. As I read each chapter, I was excited to have this book as guide illuminating the truths of our deep spiritual connections. This beautiful story, rich with imagery will remain with you long after you put it down.
Absolutely fantastic! Had me hooked from page one. Her characters, both historical and current were so alive they seem like people I have met before. Her descriptions of places I've almost been, had me scurrying to Google and Wikipedia for more information. How long do you think it will be before your next book comes out, Lorell?
"Jewels in the Net of the Gods" was a gem of a story. It was lyrical and took me on a fantastic journey. I loved the way the book was written with references to gemstones and their metaphysical properties and how they tied into the travels of both Liora and Kundun, both their present and their past.
Another thing I love is when an author reads their story. This one was absolutely perfect. She has a beautiful, soft voice showing the emotions and expressions of the characters.
A lovely and scintillating tale written and performed by Lorell Frysh, PhD. Definitely recommended.

"Jewels in the Net of the Gods is a sweeping tale that takes readers from prehistory to the present day, from New Mexico to Morocco, and from cavemen to high priestesses. Along the way, readers learn about many of the world’s religions and spiritual traditions thanks to the author’s masterful, evocative storytelling and deep spiritual knowledge. This book will appeal to anyone interested in learning more about the world’s religions while also being entertained."
I just didn't like this book. The writing itself was fine but the story seemed pointless. It felt more like an outline than a fully fleshed out novel- with everything introduced by the author I would have expected it to be at least twice as long.
